I won't be taking my business anywhere else! Jacob was great from start to finish. Very professional and courteous, and he seriously wants to work with you to make sure he gets your business. With as many options as there are for auto glass repair in Anchorage, the dedication to the customer is what sets these guys apart. He's been in the business for over 10 years, is very knowledgeable, and has great connections with different companies and warehouses to get you the best price possible. They were very understanding when I talked about pricing from other shops, and will absolutely meet or BEAT any price you can show him from Safelite or any other shop in town. I personally don't use Groupon, but they offer amazing deals on chip repairs and full replacements that are worth checking out. You'll love Lenny, the shop dog. While he may be intimidating to some, he loves people and keeps you company while you wait. Speaking of waiting, you won't be doing much if it... the shop has a great turnaround! I was in and out in less than an hour for a full replacement. Jacob made sure I was happy, as well as informed with their process. I even found out the last glass was done improperly by another shop, and why they knew. Great aftercare tips to ensure the job lasts. Lastly, they have an amazing warranty... Lifetime for any faults with the glass (manufacturer defects, non-rock breaks, etc.), as well as a 30-day rock chip fix guarantee. Like I said, I won't be going anywhere else. I'll be bringing my next glass needs to them... and suggest you do the same.

My daughter recently took her Ford escape to Baltazar's because it was having problems starting. The mechanic took the time to thoroughly inspect the situation and explain to my daughter the diagnosis. They were able to complete the repair in a timely manner. And then later in the day when my daughter noticed something off with her brakes she took the car back to Baltazar's and after checking things over they realized they had made a mistake and quickly corrected it for no charge. I really appreciate a place of business that displays integrity and responsibility since it is so rare to find those qualities even in people these days. My wife and I are now taking our car to Baltazar's because of how will they treated our daughter.

UPDATE: my Scuba-roo had another 2 rock chips/highway bullet holes filled by the awesome folks at denali auto glass since my last review. When I initially booked my second appointment, I only had 1 rock chip for which they had me scheduled to fill in less than 48 hours (the delay was the result of my work schedule, not theirs) SO EXCITED! But then; sadly, I suffered a 2nd rock vs windshield assault on the way to my appointment to repair the one I already had... ugh...so I tell them this when I checked in...no problem...within 20 minutes of my scheduled appointment time not only had they filled my initial rock chip but also the second offender that attacked my windshield on the way to see them repaired too! Once again... I am blown away! These guys are awesome! Original review: I am super happy with and impressed by the service I received at Denali Auto Glass! My husband and I are originally from Kodiak and are not really used to living in a place where your windshield becomes little more than a bullet proof vest in the winter... that said one of our vehicles currently has a spider web of cracks resulting from rock chips we ignored... shame on us. When our new vehicle got its first rock chip, I called Denali at the recommendation of my Mother in Law. They had me scheduled in for an appointment within 48 hours! Awesome! Then... they told me the estimated wait time would be 30-40 minutes... I was out in less than 20! BUT WAIT, THERES MORE! My rock chip repair was even less than initially quoted because of the referral by my MIL. Needless to say... these folks go above and beyond in taking care of their customers, even if its your first time visiting them. Their location can be hard to find, but I promise you.... it is worth it!

We discovered that a vertical crack had developed in the windshield of our rented minivan after it had sat in a parking lot for two days. We did not want to return the van to the rental company and pay extra for a repair or the down time to the van; we also didn't want to run it through our insurance company and risk increasing our rates. We called Safelite and scheduled an appointment for the day before we were to fly out. When we arrived, we found that the phone rep had scheduled a fill rather than a repair. Even so, the manager and his assistant were ready to help us with the replacement, even given our time frame. Then the manager inspected the crack and found it was a defective windshield, so we'd not be charged at all! Even better, he called his contact at the rental company and made arrangements to schedule the replacement after we left. We were stressed when we arrived at Safelite, but left so happy with the outcome. Safelite really went above and beyond to help us out, all the while staying positive and friendly.

TAG review TAG… they’re it. Personable, professional, knowledgeable (particularly about glass quality and sourcing), accommodating, and at a price that saved me as much as $400 for my Ford Transit 250 camper-van’s new windshield including sensor calibration. This large, relatively thin windshield is highly susceptible to being devastated by single stone impact; Todd understood my concern about glass quality beyond the DOT minimum requirements, assuring me that they source autoglass from North American manufacturers (Mexico generally having the best glass) due to observed improved resistance to cracking. I appreciate such insight. This expansive windshield (the van’s third since new in 2020) needs all advantages available to survive just a single year.
