NOT VETERAN FRIENDLY As a 100% disabled veteran, I’m extremely disappointed in how I was treated by this auto glass business. I was promised a rebate as part of the service, which was a major factor in choosing them. After completing the work and multiple follow-ups, that included several calls and each time I called, I was given the story of inside fraud (another red flag) and that the rebate will be mailed the following Friday. The rebate never came. It feels like they took advantage of my trust—and worse, my veteran status—for their gain. When I asked about the rebate, I was either ignored or given vague answers with no follow-through. It’s unacceptable and unprofessional. Veterans should be treated with honesty and respect, not used for promotions or empty promises. I would strongly advise others, especially fellow veterans, to steer clear of this business unless you want to be misled and disregarded after the job is done. They were quick to coordinate with USAA to issue invoice and receive funding. I have alerted USAA in order to advice other veterans to stay clear of this business. Filing a comp with the BBB.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. My windshield was replaced on January 1, 2025 and at the time the person I spoke to at Auto Glass 2020 told me that they would send out my rebate as soon as they received payment from my insurance. I was able to track that my insurance had sent the payment very quickly and then followed up with Auto Glass 2020 after several weeks of not receiving the rebate check. I was told at that time that they had some issues with their bank account going back to December of the prior year and that they were behind on rebate payments. I was assured that I would receive my payment when they got things straightened out. If this is the case, I'm not sure why I wasn't warned about this when I set up the appointment to get my windshield replaced. Fast forward to today, July 24, 2025, I am STILL waiting on my rebate check. I have called multiple times and get the same story about "issues with their bank and they're behind on payments but they'll get it sent out as soon as they can." At this point, I feel like I have been scammed and I am very upset. I did a lot of research before choosing a company to replace my windshield and I was impressed by the amount of positive reviews this company had. Also, I prefer to support small, local businesses. I regret this decision now because I'm pretty sure I will never see that rebate check. I hope someone from Auto Glass 2020 will read this and do the right thing.

**DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE** My husband and my self contact them to replace our windshield (mid May 2025) they work so fast on all the paperwork with our insurance and told us how much the rebate was going to be EVEN doing the strip on my windshield since my existing windshield had it (Rebate money or windshield tint strip NEVER HAPPENED) they even worked late to get this windshield paperwork set with our insurance (my husband was texting with the representative back and forth) I’m telling you late like 7pm, 8pm. They came change my windshield and when my husband mentioned the check for the rebate money he was told that he had to contact the person who helped him with the replacement and he (the person who changed the windshield) was going to send an email regarding this matter, when my husband ask about the tint strip it was the same answer. When this “Representative” answered my husband (like a week later) she told him that things have changed and now he had to filled out a form online and then he will receive the money (This was NEVER informed to him before). Fast forward he did fill out the form and we waited (June came) my husband try and reach out again to this “representative or Customer Service person” but nothing a few weeks later she answered telling him “that she is been out of the office for a couple of days and she is going to reach out to someone so they can check on it” she never call him back. My husband even went to the shop but NO ONE was able to help him, he only was told that some will reach out to him to make sure he gets the money within a week. AGAIN no one did, so I call this person who helped him setting up everything with the insurance (because she was so good and efficient when it was about getting money from our insurance) but with the rebate money NOTHING, when she answered she said that “we couldn’t do anything about it other than wait because this was a rebate money” meaning what? You lied to people so they can do business with you? Today July 17th (2 months later) NO ONE has reached out to us to let us know what’s going on with this rebate “stolen” money. Apparently they had to change the policy (the way they give the money to customers) on the rebate money because someone in the company was doing fraud. I can totally see that in this “Family owned business” *This was not the first time we had done business with this company, even referred people and was going to refer more but with all of this going on I think we will look for another company and this time read the reviews before since we are not the only ones dealing with this rebate money situation, also don’t let them change my car windshield without all the agreed terms.

Scheduled with auto glass 2020 since they are capable of doing camera recalibration on Tesla's after windshield replacements. Tech arrived promptly and took care of replacement in about an hour. 15 minutes later another tech showed up to recalibrate the cameras. On first look the install was fine but after I was able to drive the car once the glue cured I began to notice issues. I have a permanent rattle at the top drivers side beneath the head liner now, the back of my rear view mirror was scratched up likely from the removal wrench, the glass sits higher than it did from the factory and is placed much farther to the driver's side than factory. I believe this misalignment is what's causing my rattle. I figured next time I'll just use safe light and I at least will be getting a rebate for this. Currently they are paying out the rebates 2 months behind according to their phone system. If that's the main reason your wanting to use this company look else where. Update 4 months later: still no rebate. Haven't received any calls, email, or mail correspondence about getting one either. Will be avoiding any glass replacement company that offers such rebates in the future since they all likely don't actually pay out. Safelite continues to be most used for a reason.
Moving To Arizona
As a local real estate agent in Arizona, I spend a lot of time driving, which unfortunately means dealing with frequent windshield damage from flying rocks on our freeways. Recently, I noticed a chip in my windshield, smaller than a quarter, and immediately thought of Auto Glass 2020. Having had my windshield replaced by them a few months ago through my insurance at no cost, I knew exactly where to turn. I contacted Auto Glass 2020, and they invited me to their Chandler location to have the chip repaired free of charge. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the owner, Cash, who personally took care of the repair. He worked his magic, and the chip is now practically invisible, saving me from having to replace my windshield entirely. I highly recommend Auto Glass 2020 for their honest and reliable service. Their commitment to convenience and quality service is unmatched in the industry. If you’re in need of windshield repair or replacement, look no further than Auto Glass 2020. Below you can see before and after of chip repair!

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t leave this company more than one star. First I was dealing with a wonderful sales representative Jessica then last second I was dealing with Nikki and I ended up feeling horrible because Jessica lost her sale. I was told when the technician came out, he would be bringing a check as a bonus for getting my windshield replaced and the technician told me he knew nothing about a a check for getting my window replaced and was not aware that I was getting paid anything so the windshield got replaced and after several phone calls and text messages I did receive payment. Now here we are three days later and all the molding around the windshield is coming up and the windshield is loose. I reached out to the technician. I am being told he will ask his supervisor if maybe Monday he could come out and fix it, in the meantime, we cannot drive our truck due to the risk of the molding coming off further or the window coming loose. It is not worth getting your window fixed for a bonus or ceramic tinting. I would use an insurance recommended company.ServicesAuto windshield repair
