The mechanic that installed the windshield did Excellent work, and once he pulled my vehicle into the bay, took only 25 minutes. The receptionist on the other hand, has horrible customer service skills. When I walked into the facility, she was texting on her cellphone and did not hear me enter, I gave her 30 seconds, and she didn't notice me until I said, "Excuse Me", which caused her to jump out her chair. After she regroup, she started asking me questions, but she kept her eye on her cellphone, so I stopped answering her. When she noticed I wasn't answering, then she looked at me, and I told her, I thought she was talking to her cellphone. Appointment was at 1pm, I arrived at 12:44 pm. My car was pulled into the bay at 2 pm, and the mechanic started working on it at 2:12 pm. I was out at 2:42 pm.

They were the cheapest. And because I was cheap. I ended up with my windshield not being installed properly. When I saw the area in question my father immediately returned to the shop only to be talked down to and told by the front desk girl that I did the damage. Now let's think about that. Why would I damage my own car? She tells my dad I pulled the area out. The area is where my microphone is for phone calls. That area was not put back the way it should have been. And she said I went home pulled the area apart. Make that make sense. I paid for the job unfortunately it wasn't done properly. I'm within my right to have the work done correctly. So they go back and forth and she stands him down. She doesn't install the windshields. Yet she decides I'm wrong. She never asked anyone there that installs the windshields. She played gatekeeper. So I'm driving around with a windshield not installed properly. I was thinking of disputing the charge because I didn't get what I paid for. Don't be cheap, stop thinking it's a good deal. Pay the extra money and have it installed properly somewhere else. So you can avoid nightmares like mine. I DO NOT recommend them. Stay far away from them because if there is a problem they will not stand by their work. I see the excellent reviews and that may be true but if you ever have an issue with the work they won't accept responsibility. Wonder what corporate would say? Because the front desk girl just won't get the job done properly.

Reason for a 2 star review. I was mowing my grass and while weed eating a rock hit my passenger side glass and shattered it. My windows are tinted so it held the glass from going everywhere. Called auto glass now they were reasonably priced and could replace my window the next day. Appointment was for 12pm got there on time. They Took my car in around 1. Now i have a Challenger SRT Hellcat. Well when the guy got in tried revving the engine. Well I’m no dummy I put it in valet mode which puts it in limp mode. Ok first mistake second ordered the wrong window. No problem had the right one in an hour. Guy put it in my car got home opened and closed the door surprised to hear glass still in my door.How hard is it to vacuum the glass out. Wasn’t for the glass in my door I’d give a better review. Let me just say I took most of the glass out before taking it to them and she was supposed to email my receipt still haven’t seen it. It’s been 5 days now. Come on people get it together.

I do not recommend this company, as they may break perfectly working parts. I brought my 2018 Subaru to Auto Glass Now in Hampton, Virginia, for the replacement of the shattered front driver window. The initial quote for the approximately 2-hour job was just under $300, which is reasonable. I checked in at the front desk and subsequently handed over my vehicle. While observing the techs progress from outside, I noticed that he was seemingly distracted and engaged in conversation with a female colleague. After about 45 minutes, the techs informed me that he was unable to proceed with the window replacement due to a broken motor/regulator. Auto Glass Now's solution involves I buy the replacement motor/regulator priced at $260.00 (P/N 61041VA011) from Subaru which I would need to provide for them to install along with the new window. When inquiring about the cause of the motor/regulator failure, the techs claimed that glass debris had infiltrated the sealed unit, an explanation which I find dubious after researching it an all-metal part (picture included). Based on my experience, the other well-known windshield replacement company is more professional and takes utmost care with your vehicle. Called them today 03 May 2024 and they are not going to fix it and just said sorry. Very unprofessional manager!

I’m surprised I was asked to participate in this survey. Zero stars. I had to select one star or my comments would not post. It was a horrible experience. I arrived at 9:45am for a 10:00am appointment. My car was taken back at 10:15. Was told at 11:00am that the glass they had was for a four door. My car is a two door as I told them when I made the appointment. They said a replacement would arrive at 4:00pm. Received an email invoice while I was waiting at home for my car to be finished for almost $30.00 more than my verbal “out the door quote “ I was given when I made the appointment. I’m guessing that was to cover the cost of wiper blades I negotiated for my inconvenience. Lastly they tried to give me a receipt for the improper higher costs (which I did not pay). Now I’m waiting for my windshield to leak during the next rain storm!

2 stars because I received next day service. I received a text that stated my service window was 8am-12pm. I called at 8:30 for an eta and was told the window was 8-6pm. I was told the text was a glitch and I shouldn’t have received it. No apology. The receipt doesn’t show my techs name. The number that is listed is to a call center. I then received another text in reference to a $30 discount. I called and was transfer to the actual shop. The person that answered told me the discount was for a windshield replacement. I explained that the text didn’t state that. The rep was very unapologetic for receiving both text, customer service was unsatisfactory. I used this shop based on a referral. I will not be referring anyone to this business. The windshield was repaired but I’ve had better service.
