Carefree Windshield Repair

I first made an appointment with Safelite because I didn't think smaller shops would come to our house and we needed a short turnaround, but then I saw their terrible reviews so I shopped around and was pleasantly surprised that Carefree would come to our house, had a much better price, and could come in just a few days. I'm so glad I did because service was fantastic! Tyler called ahead to communicate on timing and potentially sketchy weather. Our previous windshield had been poorly installed and it was a beast to replace, but he made it happen. It's only been a few days, but so far so good. I drove on the freeway in the rain 24 hours after installation with no leaks or cracks or anything nefarious.

I was left speechless with the service provided by the company and the tech. Everything that was promised was delivered. I was increasingly impressed when I got back into my vehicle and found that everything from the car wash decal to our Luxury Limousine PUC permit and the Expresstoll slider/transponder we're transferred from my old windshield to my new windshield. I will always use Carefree Windshield Repair and I will request Piper!

Very fast and wonderful service. From phone call to finished product including several quotes for 4 other vehicles including finding a windshield for a 1989 Audi 200 was very quick and being treated like a real person instead of just another job or payment was a relief. Will indeed return when needed! Highly recommend. ***update got 2 windshields one for my truck ( taken care of same day!!) and one for the Audi excellent work, Quick and professional. Both Teflon coated and new wipers!

Excellent choice for knowledgeable windshield replacement or repair. The other customers I had the chance to speak with were very impressed as was I with the way the quote, logistics and repair management was performed. My advice is that when you get a rock chip, come here that day to have it filled and fixed before it becomes a major issue. I have seen the smallest chip take out my entire windshield before. The service area and waiting room was clean and tidy, the service personnel were polite and informative, and the repair was completed quickly without hassle. I will recommend this to anyone who needs high quality repair and doesn’t mind waiting till a slot opens up. My wait was about a week for the replacement to come in. The price and quality was perfect for me! 5 star service!

I live in Crested butte Colorado and replacing windshields is always a process and usually a heavy waiting process on when they can get it done. I called and had an appointment within a week. I drove down and dropped it off for my appointment. Colby and his crew absolutely crushed it. Between Stacia’s customer service at the front desk and Piper’s expertise while crushing the install faster than I’ve ever seen, I was more than satisfied with my experience. I will be recommending Carefree windshield to everyone! They have my business for life.

These guys are fantastic! My quote came in well under all the others and although my initial appointment was a week out, they managed to get me in the very next day and weather proofed my vehicle right away. I had my rear windshield replaced and the whole experience went smoothly. I would recommend them and will certainly be returning for any glass replacement or chip repairs I have in the future.
