Chandlers Autoglass

Had a replacement windshield installed in my car in the 1980's and it was wonderful, no problems. Had a replacement windshield installed in my pickup in November of this year and I noticed a crack in it 2 days later. By then I was back to work in South Dakota up by North Dakota and Minnesota so I had to take the day off work and drive back to Pierre so it could be established that yes, the crack was from either a faulty windshield or improper installation but it was not my fault. Chandler's was unable to put in a new windshield at that time because they were swamped and it was in the afternoon by the time I finally got there so I was told to come back another time and they would pop in another. The replacement of the replacement windshield was "free" but it costed me a days wages, 2 full tanks of fuel plus wear and tear driving back and forth so what started out as being very affordable suddenly turned into being mind numbingly expensive. Now, about the service. Very friendly staff, Joe is one of the nicest people around and although I didn't catch the other guy's name there, he was just as friendly. They had no problem with my dog hanging out in the truck during the removal and installation of the glass, both times. They have a wide stock of replacement windshields on hand and may probably be able to help most situations without having to make a specialty order. Seems like Chandler's also does windows for homes as there was lots and lots of glass for all kinds of applications there.

Highly recommend Chandlers for your auto glass repairs. Several times I've had chip repair needs on the fly, Joe always has me come in immediately. He'll quickly get you back on the road.

We are on vacation and passing thru when we had rocks hit our windshield cracking it all the way… we call chandlers and Joe wolf the owner was just amazing. Awesome service. We were in our motorhome during heavy winds about 4 miles west of Pierre when our windshield popped and came out of its seal. Very scary situation. I called Joe at Chandler's and we slowly made our way back to town. Although he was swamped and working alone that day, Joe got us fixed and the charge was very reasonable. Thank you for providing excellent service. Very nice guy.
