Charlie's Auto Glass I

Very disappointed in this facility. The tech who installed my glass was a good guy, he meant well but if they weren't able to put it on correctly, I would've appreciated my money back and a phone call. My regret is going to them and paying cash before it was fine but at the time, I thought that paying them in cash and before it was done would guarantee a flawless job. Boy, was I wrong. There's wind noise after the installation, immense amounts of silicone used under the windshield and silicone used on my cowls when that's not necessary as well. Maybe they broke a push pin or something but call me to let me know. I called them a day or two after it was done as it was the holidays and a weekend and gave them a chance to correct it before I reviewed them but the owner wanted to take no responsibility for it as if it was me who did the job. They disregarded the wind noise and he belittled and insulted the tech in front of every customer that morning. That's very unprofessional and speaks volumes. I wasted gas and my time in even driving to them again to show them. Please do not come here unless you want a botched job and left looking for a better quality installation at other places. UPDATE: After receiving a response from the owner, you can tell he's not very good on his English and was possibly upset when he wrote it. I ended up contacting Velez Auto Glass and they did an amazing job in reinstalling the windshield and I have had no wind noise since. They said that you guys did a terrible job, left parts of the windshield unglued among other things. I tried telling you guys to redo the windshield since I paid cash but like previously stated, I shouldn't have even gone to you or I should've paid with a credit card so I could've disputed it with a less than satisfactory job you guys did. In regards to the broken pillar on the INSIDE of my truck that I did not even mention in the original review, that is fixed now and guess who fixed it? VELEZ AUTO GLASS. They didn't even have to but they did since the new part was laying in my back seat and that's why they will be my go to from now on and why the reader should go to them as well. Sorry Charlie's, you guys dropped the ball and want to save face and I hope this review lets other people know to think twice before receiving your services. I came to you guys for a windshield job not the pillar so you stating that is just irrelevant. I was never upset about that, I even told you guys not to touch it. Own up to your botched job and take responsibility.

Amazing highly recommend their services very professional. Oscar was right on top of things told me exactly what time he would be at my house to fix the windshield on our truck and was there exactly at that time we did maybe two hours from the time I called. When I arrived I found the office and repair areas spotless in appearance, I was greeted and treated like part of the family by everyone, after looking at my vehicle they explained to me the repairs that needed to be done, upon completion of repairs my vehicle was free of debris or anything associated with the repair, and the price that they gave me was below other estimates I had gotten. I was referred to them by Wayne Akers Ford and my insurance said they were a preferred dealer as well. Went to get my window done and everything was done quickly, but the day after I got my car I had an error message pop up because my car was not properly calibrated. Called and said no appointments just bring it in. First time I brought it in when I called to say I was coming, team was at lunch. Came back and then waited over an hour to get their issue fixed. They should’ve calibrated the car properly the first time, instead waste half my day to go and sit in a small waiting area for someone to fix the calibration. Well, they were quick, offered same day service, price was competitive. Job was done in no time flat, but I feel they could of spent a little more time removing the broken glass. I had already removed 95% of the broken glass. Of course I couldn't get what was in the door panel and I hope they did. There was broken glass left under the seat nor sure if he even vacuumed anything. Had to return as didn't properly secure mirror button on door handle and when I did go back the guy that did the install acted like I was a burden. I now hear the wind through the closed window but haven't addressed with them as it wasn't a friendly visit back. If I ever need to replace another window I feel I will go elsewhere. The price initially came in cheaper than safelite and we wanted to support a local business. They got the job done same day and in a timely manner, but in the process left quite a mess in the interior. I had to vacuum up bits of broken glass, old sealant residue, and steam clean the tan interior of the car due to all the black scuffs and stains left by careless installers. We didn’t bring them a brand new car but we keep our older one clean, not very satisfied with the quality of work and will not be returning.
