DMV Auto Glass Mobile Services Plus

Update: On 07/22/24 I heard from the Glass company after 2 days. They were apologetic about the situation. They sent out a new Tech to fix the additional issue that it was dragging and making a weird sound when it was being rolled up. The glass was replaced and I was reimbursed for the getting the locking mechanism issue fixed. The tech and I tested everything to ensure all of it works and that I was satisfied. I do Appreciate the effort they made and I am grateful. Updated the star rating because they went above and beyond to fix the issue. On 7/20/24 I had my front passenger window replaced. Overall it looked great but I noticed flaws. The technician was kind and professional. However. The technician did not correctly placed all the parts back correctly. I wasn’t able to open the door from the inside nor secured it. Also, the window does not roll up how the previous one or the others does - smoothly. It seems that it struggles a bit to roll up. And the window was left very Dirty. I tried contacting them but would not answer or return my calls. These people will take your money and disappear. I asked for a receipt and never received one. DO NOT use their services. They are horrible. The only proof I have is that I paid them through Zelle. So I have a name if I need to take to them small claims court or take any legal action. AGAIN DONT USE THEM.

Contact originally made as an inquiry through the website at about 0700 12/21/21Tuesday morning. Within 5 minutes of the company opening hours I received an email as to answer my inquiry. I did my homework, read the reviews and decided to have them replace my windshield. I was called by Gary, we talked for a few minutes and set up a next morning appointment. On 12/22/21 Gary called to tell me when he was arriving within the appointment time. Once he and his associate arrived, I was very professionally and warmly greeted. He told me the entire process and made sure I didn't have any questions. Within 45 minutes my windshield was replaced. It was well done and they took special care to make sure they didn't leave any trash or other markings. Once completed, Gary then called me again to tell me he was finished. He gave me a receipt, I paid him for services rendered and we parted ways. I would absolutely recommend DMV Auto for any glass replacement needs. Gary went above and beyond my expectations! My car windshield was hit by a pebble that cracked the glass, which began to spread. I called at least three other auto glass services and Gary was the only one to provide a prompt response. He was on time, professional, and extremely skilled. He not only repaired the windshield, Gary also went out his way to find me some new windshield wipers as my old ones were in bad shape. All of this at a reasonable price. They did a great job. Reasonable prices. Most importantly, they were able to replace the window the same day I called! Someone tried to steal our car while parked at a Metro station. Smashed the side window. We were just visiting the area with plans to leave the next day. I called first thing next morning and they were able to work us in at 10 am if we brought it to the shop (which we did) or later afternoon if mobile. While the shop building/waiting room is truly just a place to sit in an industrial building, we were done in about 30 minutes so it was no big deal. Would highly recommend.

Gary was punctual, professional, and efficient. Replaced my front windshield onsite in less than an hour. When he encountered evidence that my windshield had been replaced before (Used car, so we were unaware) and there was damage to a retaining bracket, he brought me out so I could see the previous work done.
