Really too weak customer service... I called them Friday than they booked my project for Monday BTW 11:00am and 3:00pm. I wait all day in home for that. Technician called me at 12:00 for to inform he will be able to be here my place for to replace my windshield around 2:00pm. I said okay but I will be appreciated if any chance to earliest. He called me at 3:15pm he is at Vero Beach, driving to my place :( I canceled appointment and hired another company timely manner also cheapest than this company. They need to educate workers about how provide a good customer service even service would be late than booked timeframe. Argue with a customer is not a professional way. You need to think double when you hire this company

I recently had the windshield of my Chevy Cruze replaced. I have no issues with the work that was done. The windshield was appropriately replaced and all is well. Dr Car Glass is getting one 1 star because they are OVERBILLING my insurance. They are charging $3200 to replace a windshield on a Chevy Cruze which is insane. Allstate won't pay that amount understandibly. So they are now opting to SUE my insurance. Because of this I do not recommend and won't be using them.ServicesAuto windshield replacement

Spoke with Juan Amador on Mar 14th, took my info and said that a technician would be calling me. Now, Mar 25th and never got that call back. Evidently when you don't have full coverage and you will be paying out of pocket they don't want to deal with you. Don't know how you can you have a 5 star rating. I used another company that follows up with their customers. Waited 3 days for nothing. They wasted my time . I do not recommend this business. UPDATE: I do reviews on businesses that I have contacted because it's a big part of how I decide where to spend my money. My reviews are my experiences with businesses and are straight forward and honest. You had stellar reviews and that's why I contacted you. You mentioned in your reply that I was told you couldn't service my vehicle and could refer me to an independent dealer. So yes we did in fact speak, but your version of the conversation never happened. I stand by my review.

This company submitted a claim for over $3000 for replacing a windshield on my Lexus. $1900 for labor alone!!! The kicker is I never called or used them. I thought this was insurance fraud. It turns out the small local family business in Jacksonville that I called and hired to do the repair in front of my home, uses Dr. Car Glass to handle their insurance stuff. Dr. Car Glass is now suing my insurance to pay more than the reasonable amount already paid to them of $1100. I wanted to support a small business! Other local large companies estimated repair no greater than $1,100!!! If I had known this small Jax business used a third party vendor like the price gouging Dr. Car Glass to submit and handle insurance claims, I would have gone with one of the other businesses in Jax and saved myself all this nonsense I’m going through. Beware of this business sketchy insurance claim practices and price gouging.

Be sure to read all the documentation they send over for signature. After reading a few of the reviews mentioning their insurance companies were being sued, I grew weary. The document they were requesting that I sign stated I did NOT want a written estimate of the job if it were to be over $100. However, I did. I reached out and requested on. The gentleman told me it'd take up to 24 hrs for it to come through especially since it was a Sunday. (Miraculously he had it at 5 PM on a Sunday nonetheless) The written estimate still stated that I did not want a written estimate, and his excuse was that he is unable to change that option. He advised that a claim had been opened with my insurance company, and that I was able to get scheduled for today 9/25 @ 4:30 PM. They dont provide any appointments later, so I requested to take the afternoon off from work. I called my Insurance Agent to let her know and she advised that I call my Insurance company directly to file a claim or find out if one has already been opened. When I called the insurance agency, there had not been a claim opened. So I went ahead and opened one. During that call the technician called at 10:00 AM requesting to know if I was available to get my windshield changed now, and I told him that I wasn't because I was at work until 3:00 PM like I had told the gentlemen yesterday. He began to pressure me and stated that he could drive up to my job to do the window change, and that it wouldn't be a problem. I told him I'd give him a call back. He proceeded to call 3 additional times and text me to see if I was able to get permission for him to do window repair on my job site. Between being lied to about a claim being opened, pressured to move my appointment up and the reviews stating their insurance got sued, I decided to cancel my appointment. I then received a phone call from the person who scheduled my appointment and he was excessively rude, stating that this back and forth was too much as they schedule 100's of appointments a week. He insisted on needing a reason for the cancellation and I told him that I decided to schedule it through my insurance directly, he told me that they already had a claim number open, and when I asked him for that claim number he scoffed and was not able to provide it to me. Overall this process was sketchy and tiring. I wouldn't recommend this company based on this experience alone.

Got my car broken into for the first time the other day, and I needed to replace the window on my passenger side front door. I tried making an appointment with Safelite but the soonest they had was a week away! I managed to find these guys online, and my window was fixed the next day. The job itself took 30~ minutes, the tech Jack was able to get it done fast and properly, along with vacuuming the interior nicely. The glass isn’t exactly the same- the original is Pilkington and the replacement is Fuyao, but the differences seem to end there. Overall, great work at a price less than my deductible.
