Extreme 1 Auto Glass

My husband took our van into Extreme 1 auto to repair our driver side window a couple of weeks ago. We called around and got some estimates and they had the best price but now we are left worse off than when we brought our van in. We supplied the regulator to be replaced, which they did put in but then we were left with a dead door. The window controll unit was in working order when we brought it in for them to fix the window and now it doesn't work at all. We tried replacing the switches (as per their suggestion) on our own dime and it was not the problem. He did try calling them to see if they could fix it because it was something that happened while the van was in their possession and all he got was a "sorry for the inconvience". It is a safety hazzard not being able to adjust our mirrors, and are left trying to figure out what the problem is ourselves. The prices look great but it is not worth the outcome, would not do buisness with Extreme 1 Auto Glass again.

Initially, I thought this was the best auto glass shop because of their prices. I would have paid more to get quality work done on my windshield. A red flag would of been the time it took to replace my windshield. I noticed that the urethane was messy and visible from the interior, there was also a scratch on the interior panel. I took it back to get the urethane fixed. It was trimmed and the excess urethane was left in my vehicle. Then I noticed that rear view mirror arm was not placed back properly. I wouldn’t recommend, and I won’t return.

Yes I recommend them to family and friends. Jose and his family were very professional and informative. They kept me updated from the moment we started talking about replacing my windshield til the replacement was done and finished. The pricing was very reasonable and the timeframe for the replacement was quick. So I am satisfied with the service. They had the best prices and great reviews, however I received a windshield that was distorted. They replaced it. After driving, there are still several flaws within the glass that distorts my vision while driving and gives me massive headaches. It’s almost like looking through a glass bottle where areas are pinched or wavy. Overall incredibly disappointed in the quality of the glass. Customer service was good though for what it’s worth.

Called a large corporate window repair company, got quoted a price of almost $1000 online and never spoke to a real person. Called Extreme 1 and their price was just under $700 less. I talked to a real person, even had to call them back and reschedule - it was no problem. Given the price difference I was a little concerned and anxious about the quality. As soon as the work was finished all that anxiety was replaced with satisfaction. The young man who did the work was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and did top notch work. I have had windshields put in at-least 10 vehicles, they always are great people both on the phone and in person, theytold me if i get a chip or small crack to bring it back and they would fix it for me, always on time for appointments at my home, they have gotten the windshields changed well before the time frame they give themselves, and none of my windshields have ever leaked, and always the best price I could find here in the springs,
