This is the type of business in Oakland that we need to support. Frequently getting my car windows and windshield replaced due to the spike in crime and finally decided to stop paying the high prices some of these other places were charging. Came in and almost didn't even have to explain myself. Warm greeting when I came in and everything was explained to me so that both the process of replacing the broken window and payment were clear and concise. My pricing was notably cheaper than the previous place I went to in Oakland and on top of that all the mechanics had a genuine good attitude about getting me and my car back on the road....and quick.

Had an amazing experience with Gateway Auto Glass! I spoke with Rick over the phone—he was super helpful and got everything scheduled for a same-day repair at my home. The technician showed up right on time and did a flawless job. The glass was installed strong and clean, and you can tell he really knew what he was doing. Big thanks to Rick and the team—definitely recommend Gateway if you want it done right!

Avoid this company at all costs. I had my passenger-side window replaced, but they failed to reset the sensor. Now, the window randomly rolls down on its own and the system thinks it’s open when it’s not. The owner sent me instructions on how to reset the sensor, which he probably found online, but they didn’t work. When I followed up with him, he told me to take the car to the dealer. I’m left wondering why I even came to him in the first place. I chose this place because of the seemingly positive reviews, but I suspect they’re all fake. Don’t fall for this scam like I did; go to Safelite instead.

I have a couple of cracks on the windshield. Raldy came and explained he would repair the cracked to the windshield but the crack would still be visible but the crack would not spread and become larger. After the repair is completed the crack was shrunk to small dot where they applied the resin. Excellent job and I’ll spread the words to my friends.

They are really fast, friendly and had great communication when preparing the quote for my vehicle. The price was very reasonable compared to others and especially since they offer mobile installation which was super convenient for me. Their installer Jose was very nice and friendly and called me when he arrived and done with his install which didn't not take long at all. I would definitely recommend and use them for any of my other vehicles. Customer service was very nice!

I never thought it would happen to me, but my BMW’s back window was smashed in Oakland. I guess it was inevitable with how often I park on the street. :( I started calling Auto Glass shops as soon as I saw the damage. From the start, Gateway Auto Glass stood out with their professionalism and care. They were incredibly easy to talk to and immediately put me at ease on what was turning into a stressful day! :) Within hours of my call, they sent a technician directly to me - no extra charge for their mobile service - and fixed the window right in my driveway. The technician was highly knowledgeable, worked efficiently, and even vacuumed up all the broken glass afterward, which I really appreciated! Now, a month later, the glass still looks perfect - just like the original! I haven’t had any issues, and the price Gateway gave me was very reasonable. It was a no-brainer to go with them. What impressed me the most was how fast they were. While other auto glass shops were telling me I’d have to wait a week or two for an appointment, Gateway had me taken care of the same day. Plus, not having to drive around with a broken window was a huge relief. Hopefully I never get a smashed window ever again, but if I do I know who to call ;) I highly recommend Gateway Auto Glass!
