I’ve been here twice. Both times they’ve outdone themselves. This last time I needed a new windshield. They explained the proximity sensors will need to be recalibrated. Drove out of there and sensors are working properly. It’s was a busy morning for them, they told me it’d be about an 1hr 15min wait, I was out of there in an hr. Don’t know if it will happen for others but this experience was a Godsend, especially in this economy. For reference I was quoted almost $1500 at Nissan dealership for windshield and calibration they insisted I’d need. And other places quoted about $700-$800 for the same service. All too often we only leave reviews to complain and not give business their flowers. So let's shed some light on this business taking care of Southside auto owners. After to going to Martinez Auto Body in Hammond, Indiana and having the owner, Arnie Martinez, play in my face (and with my vehicle) for a week; I came up on this place by recommendation of a friend. Before bringing my car in I gave them a call. They were able to tell me if they had the glass for my vehicle in stock, quote a price for the work (replacement glass and labor) over the phone and said they could fit me in the same day as long as I got there before they closed. I got there. Checked in and was told that they would start on my vehicle within 20 minutes and it should take about an hour from that time and that's exactly what happened. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the wait time is kind of long and they don't have adequate seating room for you to wait. The neighborhood doesn't offer many options to entertain yourself either while you wait and isn't the most inviting of places. So keep that in mind when you book. But the work is A1. They get you in and out and the prices are reasonable.

Price was cheaper then fernandez auto glass service was quick only problem was the employee that serviced my car didn't respect others property.He stepped all on my door panels left foot prints all on my doors trim.He smoked a cigarette while repairing my glass i don't even smoke in my car didn't get his name.I remember he wore glass and had his hair in a ponytail young guy. He need to reality check

Our passenger, driver side window was busted on New Year's eve and we called around to see who was open and available to get it replaced. By the afternoon, we were able to get serviced by Halsted Auto Glass. They were quick and efficient. The glass replacement was very well done and they even vacuumed the glass out of the car. It was like the window was never broken. Thanks for your speedy, efficient, and professional service Halsted Auto Glass!

My car was broken into around 9-10 PM. That morning I was able to call, come by asap and have 2 new windows installed on my passenger side within a matter of 2-3 hours. My windows were originally tinted but the ones they had in stock were not. I was given the first pair to get me through and told to come back the next day when the tinted windows would be delivered n installed free of charge. All for less than$300.

Such quality work. Quick process, inexpensive prices and they offer both new and used glass depending on your budget. I drove in from MI bc some asshat tried to steal my grandmothers vehicle. I called them at 4:55 and was told they could do it same day if I arrived by 5:15. Well, due to Chicago’s traffic I arrived at 5:20. I explained I had just called and they’re working on it rn (5:30). I’m gonna recommend this place to anyone who’s in the market for replacement glass. Talk about SERVICE!!!! I wish I could give them 10 stars.
