Jack Morris an Auto Glass Now Company

Yikes. Tons of good reviews for this place, but I couldn't get past the rude person answering the phone this morning. I wish I had gotten her name. The Jack Morris website states "There is a good chance your chip, crack or break is covered by insurance. Let us check for you. Jack Morris Auto Glass has relationships will all major insurance carriers, and we can facilitate your claim for you. Just contact us, and we'll do the rest, including billing your insurance carrier directly." Given this, I called the shop directly to attempt to get the ball rolling on a windshield replacement. After collecting a little information, the person on the phone literally laughed at me for not knowing my deductible off the top of my head (I did tell her I thought it was zero- I ended up being correct) and said she "didn't have anything in the system for me." I explained they were my first call per the website and she very rudely insinuated that I was doing something wrong. I had to pull out of her what I was *supposed* to do and finally she let me know that I need to call my insurance company first, then she will reach out to me. It seemed like she got a great kick out of listening to me fish for information on how I needed to proceed, when I have never had to go through this process before. I found her behavior very unprofessional and hung up the phone feeling upset to have been treated like an idiot when she easily could have just kindly directed me on the necessary steps. And to boot, when I called my insurance company after our call, they were confused and said I can absolutely set it up the way I was attempting and could not understand why the woman at Jack Morris couldn't proceed. Jack Morris has lost my business, it just shouldn't be that difficult to be kind to a customer on the phone. I scheduled with AAA Autoglass, spoke with a very pleasant woman on the phone and it was incredibly easy and fast to schedule.

After an incompetent windshield replacement job by Safelite on my old well-loved 92 Toyota pickup , I was freaked out and depressed by the shoddy job Safelite did, and spent 10 days trying to get their customer service to respond to me with no avail.....a great friend of mine in Nashville recommended Jack Morris highly and I gave them a call a few days ago and heard back from the manager Sherese Da Silva with two hours, she was very helpful and said I could just drive over as soon as I liked and they would check out my truck's windshield for me. I did so, and left the truck overnight and they totally corrected the shoddy work done 2 and a half weeks ago by Safelite, and they were able to salvage the same windshield so it was not very expensive ,and looks a heck of a lot better on the outside trim than it did after the Safelite guy worked on it.......THESE PEOPLE AT JACK MORRIS IN NASHVILLE ARE THE BEST......take it from a guy who always gets screwed first before he finds the right guys to begin with.....I believe the techs name is Jonathan and he really explained things to me so that I could understand what he was going to do, and it looks great on the outside and he did say the original Safelite glue job was really bad, so he did it right. I really appreciate what they did for me !! I have been in Nashville since the 1970s and know a lot of people, and they will all soon know where the best Auto Glass shop in Tennessee is...I gotta big mouth so everybody's gonna know about these guys !! 1. Very personable staff. 2. Installer appeared to know his job (Jonathan). Especially since he had to do it twice. 3. Unfortunately, this required two installs since my insurance company uses Safelite to administer their program. Safelite only allows OE glass to be used (initially), even if it’s for a fairly new an upscale vehicle (BMW) with high technology glass (e.g., HUD, sound, lane change, etc.). They installed the OE windshield and I immediately noticed an issue with the HUD. It was distorted, appeared you were looking down a tunnel, and the projection was in the same plane as the back of the vehicle in front of me. Couldn’t focus on the HUD. Immediately took the car back, and showed them. They agreed and got approval from Safelite to order BMW OEM glass. 4. Notified me when BMW glass came in, made an appointment, and had it installed. Results appear to be excellent. Saw immediate difference in glass. Jack Morris staff remain professional throughout the whole process. I hope I don’t ever have to replace another windshield, but if I do, I will definitely check out Jack Morris first (and get Safelite to approve BMW glass upfront).

I inquired about windshield replacement on my Lexus coupe via Jack Morris's online information form. Sherese replied quickly, requesting my car's VIN number... although it took me a whole day to get it back to her, once she got it, she had me booked for the very next morning- in my driveway, at a very good price! My technician/installer David O. called me and let me know he'd be arriving in 20 minutes, and he pulled in right on time. He was friendly, his work was quick, clean and professional. One hour after he arrived, I was swiping my card with David and amazed at how seamless and easy my experience with Sherese and David was. People plan an entire day of sitting at their house because you have a very broad schedule of when you will make your appearance the day of an appointment being anywhere between 8am to 5pm. When you get there and say the window/calibration can not be completed at 330 pm, it is extremely discouraging as a customer who made an appointment all around a VERY busy life to use your services and for it not to work out. It's not one star because the employees did try and work with me on another day and I really appreciate that, but again VERY busy schedule here and thats why I made my initial appointment for weeks out in advance to have this completed today because I could make the day available. If insurance pressures you to come here I would try and see if they have other preferred repairers. Mine informed me of others they use once I got on the phone with them about today.

I have had such good experiences with Jack Morris Auto Glass. They are honest and transparent with their quotes, on time for scheduled appointments and thorough with work they have done on my vehicle. Steve was super helpful in explaining all the steps he was taking in repairing my rear glass and made sure I understood what was going on. They also came to my house and replaced a front windshield some months ago and were timely and professional. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you, Jack Morris, for being a standout in an industry that is hard to navigate for those of us that don’t know much about cars and repairs.
