Lloyd's Of Shelton Auto Glass worked with me and did what no other local auto glass installer seemed to be willing nor able to do. I have a 1986 Toyota MR2 I'm in the process of finishing up for a fun weekend/track day car, and one of my last big things I needed to do was replace my broken front windshield. I went through no lie 5 different companies trying to get a quote on this job, several didn't even respond to my calls/email, one informed me that they don't work on vehicles of this vintage due to unforseen liabilities if they pull the glass and find rust/etc, and one company outright stopped correspondence with me after their installer came and looked at the car for less than 5 minutes. This is where Lloyd's of Shelton Auto Glass came in. Kristen was very professional in explaining all of the specific difficulties with this job that the other companies wouldn't bother to do, informing me that if they pull the windshield and they find rust, as the other installer had stated, they wouldn't be able to glue in the new windshield until the rust is repaired (which is a service they don't provide). I informed her that I was proficient and capable of doing any rust repairs myself if they were willing to work with me on pulling and reinstalling the glass, which they were happy to agree with. Rich, the installer, was very patient, professional, and well versed in all the ins and outs of auto glass installations of seemingly every make and model spanning decades, and told me exactly what I needed to do and get to insure the job was done right. He pulled the old glass cleanly and efficiently, and reinstalled the new glass with care and precision. I'm happy to have this months long endeavor of getting a windshield in this car finally figured out, and I'd happily use Lloyd's of Sheldon Auto Glass again for any of my other vehicles, as well as recommend to any friends and family, truly a great experience and a standup company from start to finish.

Will and Daniel did a fantastic job with my windshield repair! Although we had to wait a few weeks for the glass to come in from the original manufacturer it was worth the wait! They took great care of my car and left it good as new! Wonderful customer service and happy with the result! Thank you! Fast, friendly service, quality job and product. My daughter had a cracked windshield in the the last year and our insurance recommended Safelite. We had a wait of over two weeks and the tech arrived looking homeless and in a bad mood. The job was shoddy and the product probably was too. When my windshield on an older Porsche developed a crack, I did my research online and asked two different knowledgeable mechanics and chose Lloyd's of Shelton. Dory arranged the claim with my insurance and offered me an installation at my home the next day. The windshield replaced on my vehicle was identical to my original. Kevin was timely, polite and professional. The whole experience was day vs night. Don't let your insurance misdirect you to companies like Safelite who obviously have made deals with auto insurance companies to do the job for less because thats exactly what you get...less. Why not choose quality over quantity when it costs you nothing to have a better product and experience?

I can see why Lloyd’s of Shelton has legitimate 5 star reviews. My experience was stellar. From my phone call to the office where they called with me into my insurance provider and helped me make the claim, scheduled the appointment for the next day, and communicated with me the night before and the next morning to verify the appointment time. Will showed up when expected. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. The windshield was replaced neatly and efficiently. Will explained the process to me, everything he had done, and provided follow-up instructions regarding driving and washing the car. Great experience! We used Lloyds last year for replacing our windshield. They did such a great job that I knew we’d use them again. Unfortunate that it had to be so soon, but a golf ball sized rock off the highway made it necessary. Kristen at the office is very helpful and professional. She quickly found our information and set us up for a next day appointment. Will, our technician, was also very professional and knowledgeable. He took care of us last year too. The technician, Will, was very pleasant and explained the process as well as reassuring me the new windshield would not leak. He also informed me not to go to a car wash for a few days. Will also verified that the wipers worked fine having been taken off and placed back on. The office staff was also pleasant and ensured the replacement would be handled as soon as possible. I had called on Wed and the work was done on Friday morning. I would definitely recommend this company for great service.
