Mobile Glass Works

I’ll try to make this brief. Had a shattered sunroof. Called my insurance company who put me in touch with sunroof Express, who subcontracted to mobile glass works. Had been in contact through texting that everything was set up. He received the glass and then sent a text to say that he couldn’t do it because it was an aftermarket sunroof, and it wasn’t covered by insurance! I said, how is it not covered by insurance when it’s the insurance company that’s reached out to you? He didn’t have an answer for that just said he couldn’tp do it. I called the insurance company and told them what happened. They put another call into sunroof Express, who I have recently learned are the only people in this entire country that deals with this which is why we keep being sent through them. They are not the issue though. They are all very nice, polite and friendly. I will be calling my insurance company back tomorrow to ask them if they still have this place on record because I feel like they should be removed. If they didn’t know how to do the work, they should’ve said so in the very beginning before we ordered the glass and had it sent to them. I appreciate the truth over a lie any day! Of course, Insurance will pay for it because I pay for the insurance to have coverage! Doesn’t matter if it’s aftermarket. The shop that we are now working with Is a little bit further away, but definitely worth the ride. It’s Atlas auto and boat covers in East Haven! That’s who you should give your business to. So something that should’ve been done in a matter of three days took almost 2 weeks because this place doesn’t know how to replace an aftermarket sunroof. Will never recommend them to anyone

Wayne, Sandy and the guys at Mobile Glass are the best of the best. I don't generally leave reviews but definitely felt their quality and service deserved a mention. Sandy got me scheduled for a Monday but it was Friday when I called so she squeezed me in at the end of the day to install "crash wrap" which took them 10 minutes.. no charge and it was so nice not listening to my not so MacGyverish patch job. They had me in and out on Monday before I could finish my coffee. Their price was excellent, much less than I had expected. They went well above what the job was to install a window after my truck was broken into. Whoever did it spilled something all over the back seat which I hadn't realized and they cleaned all that up AND got all the gazillion pieses of glass. If you have ever had a broken window you know that their is glass in every place that has a spot for it. Just that part should be a service on its own! I enjoyed visiting with Sandy and got some great recommendations from Wayne for some bodywork I needed. Thank you guys for making my day after enduring the whole painful process when your vehicle is broken into. You are a class act.

Wayne and his team were very professional. Due to a misunderstanding, the insurance company provided incorrect information to Mobile Glass Works. Wayne quickly adjusted and was able to replace the windshield as scheduled on the same day. They were flexible and charged very reasonable rates. (The replacement was ultimately NOT covered by insurance.) Mobile Glass Works should be used as a case study in how a modern business should be run. I found this business on google search and decided to call for more information on windshield repair. The gentleman who answer the phone was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He answered my question and concern with honesty and the utmost integrity which I highly appreciate in today business world. After our conversation ended I decided to go to the shop perhaps have them take a look at the windshield. On my arrival the business was close but that was my fault as it was not scheduled. I call the number listed and the same gentleman answered and was on site within 5mins. He was very friendly, respectful and had the chip fixed in less than 15mins. I would highly recommend this business for the professionalism, honesty and integrity. If, you’re a woman like me and hate going to auto shop or auto repair center because of how women are treated as auto-dummy and an easy bank you will not feel uncomfortable or taken advantage of with Mobile Glass Works.

I phoned to schedule an appointment for a windshield change out in my Ford Excursion and was politely greeted by the female on the other end. She quoted a very reasonable price and penciled me in within a couple of days. I received a call from Wayne the day of the appointment after dropping the vehicle off that morning. Wayne mentioned that I required some additional work before reinstalling a new piece of glass. He send photos of what could have lead to major problems if neglected. He was upfront about the additional repairs and offered the work at a very reasonable cost. I am very pleased with the results and have recommended Mobile Auto Glass to others interested in glass repair/replacement. Absolutely give this company a call if you’re looking for honest, quality work. They also have some great rescue animals on the site. 5 out of 5 stars for my experience. After a bad experience with Safelite I found Mobile Glass Works on the internet. After reading all of the stellar reviews, I decided to give them a call. I spoke with Sandy, who immediately started working on the process to replace my cracked windshield. She had my new windshield within a day and scheduled me right away for an early morning appointment. Within an hour and a half my windshield was installed and I was on my way. I also met the owner Wayne and had a lovely conversation with him. I can’t say enough good things about Mobile Glass Works, Wayne and Sandy. Thank you so much for your professionalism and customer service. If I could give you more than five stars, I absolutely would!
