I was not happy with the way the time set up was not explained to me once I reached out to them when they didn’t arrive at the time I was told. However, the Installer, Mike was awesome. He was polite, explained the whole process and was quick and excellent at what he did. I would refer him specifically to anyone needing service to windshield. Thanks Mike!!!

Wonderful business to work with- efficient and professional! After waiting almost a month to no avail for a competitor ( Safelight) to repair our rear automobile windshield, we received a recommendation from a previous customer that Payless Auto glass would bring success to our predicament and they did! One call first to the Groton office and then to the Norwich office and we received almost immediate attention to our repair problem and service that very afternoon! I went and booked an appointment online for Monday afternoon for my boss's back window in his truck. Monday morning they called me to let me know they could not do it Monday but will be out Wednesday. Wednesday afternoon came no one called or showed up, so I called to figure out what was going on. At first no one answered. The second time I call the lady hung up on me. The third time I finally was able to talk to someone. They informed me that they do work till 4pm. So I waited and again no one showed up. First thing Thursday morning I called again to figure out why no showed up for the appointment they set. I was informed I was not even on the schedule for Wednesday. So after 30 minutes on phone going over my order for the 4th time after it took them 15 minutes to even find it, I was told I was all set for Friday now between 1pm-5pm. I was not going to be there so I gave them the payment over the phone and still asked for a call when someone was on the way. Friday came and nothing, no one called or showed up. I know it was raining off and on but still call if you have to cancel. So now I had to go through another company and have to wait even long.NegativePunctuality, Professionalism

Absolutely horrible experience!! The Norwich, CT location did not show for the appointment we had set. Figured they were running late..Nope.. No Call-No Show.. I called the office to check on what had happened.(15 minutes on hold) No apologies.. I reluctantly agreed to schedule another appointment for the following day.. Couldn't believe, Again.. No Call-No Show. I called the office again, (10 minute wait). We rescheduled for the next day. After giving it some thought I canceled the 3th appointment and scheduled with another company. Mike,

Have gone through 4 appointments so far and have yet to get my window replaced. I'm only holding on and hoping they actually get it replaced because its so cheap. 1st time - the guy apparently stopped too fast and broke the windshield. Understandable if it is true - not his fault. (someone pulled out in front of him) 2nd: The installer shows up, doesn't have the tool he needs, attempts to remove my windshield and does more damage to it (at first there was one small'sh crack) - after he left (not mentioning he damaged the windshield) - I was nervous to drive the car, as there were several cracks all the way through both panes of glass. He had to reschedule 4 days later to come back when he had the proper tool. 3rd appointment: I get a call an ~90 minutes after the initial time-frame, to be told that the installer can't make it because he is at another job and forgot a tool and has to go back to the job. Wow - I wish I would of gotten the same service as that fella! I was then offered a small discount ($20 bucks) over the phone after being told I was going to have to reschedule for the 4th time. After I started to complain a bit about it, the guy tells me, "I'm sorry, were going to have to charge you regular price". Lovely. I'm not one to complain too much (the other 3 appointments I was ok with) - but this is pretty ridiculous. I was going to wait until I get the window installed (or not) before writing this, but now I'm too ticked right now to hold off.

I have used Payless Auto Glass, Norwich, over and over for years (I run a repair facility) and ALWAYS feel they do a superb job. Also, their pricing is very reasonably and fair. I have never had an issue with their work and on several occasions feel they went far beyond what was called for to get the job done correctly. Also, dealing with them means dealing with a local merchant, not a mega-corporation with all the negatives that go with that.PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value
