I scheduled an appointment to have my windshield replaced I had to enter my VIN number to make sure they got the correct part. The first available appointment was a week out I scheduled it. The technician called me that morning and said I was at the end of the list even though my appointment time was between 8:00am -12:00pm so the technician showed up around 5:30 pm and said he didn’t have the correct windshield. I had to call safelite the next morning they didn’t reach out to me. The said the had to order the correct windshield and it would be another week or so before I could get it replaced. This company is a joke do not use if you want your windshield replaced correctly the first time. Terrible customer service I would give zero stars if possible. It’s funny their website wouldn’t let me leave this review what a joke!!!

Pretty slow. Customer service was lacking. Eventually when they got around to my car they did do a nice job. Having an appointment and showing up at their opening time resulted in a job completed right at closing time. Called twice in the afternoon to be told they hadn't gotten to me yet. Drove over before their posted closing time and they called me when I was already in their parking lot to tell me it was done.

20 days since my claim, still don't have the windshield replaced. First installer showed up with the wrong windshield. You have the vin, how do you have the wrong window. Second attempt was canceled, supposedly by me. Third attempt, was told tech would be here at 8am. It's now 10, no call from safeliite, no email, no text, Nothing. Call the local number I get a call center that she doesn't see where I requested any of the items they advertise as standard operating procedures. Update: 3rd attempt the installer showed up 3.5 hours after I was told he would be there. He at least had a windshield for a jeep renegade but the wrong sub model that we didn't find out until he tried putting the trim back on. Rather than report they sent him with the wrong parts he reported I wasn't happy with the quality of the job. 2 days later I get a call from them asking what I'm unhappy about. Hour call later they graciously agreed to get the right part and install it at no cost. Mighty nice of them to do that, right?! I'm not holding my breath for a better performance on attempt 4 sometime in the next 10-12 business days. Again, you have the vin off the car. How do you send out the wrong windshield.......again!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Just had my windshield replaced this morning and it was the greatest experience! I drove around a lot for work and had a semi send a pebble flying into my windshield, leaving a decent sized chip that ended up branching out pretty badly before I was able to do anything about it. I ended up making an appointment for them to come to me for the replacement, and it was such an easy process! It took a bit of time, but that was to be expected. The serviceman that came out was polite and professional. He got the job done right, and it was even a little less than the quoted time for it to get done. The price wasn't so bad either for a mobile service. I even got some new wiper blades since my old ones were getting bad. Definitely th place to stick with for glass repair/replacement on your vehicle!

Had a windshield replaced yesterday at the Davenport, IA location. The windshield has a large ripple that distorts the view. Not a good thing for a windshield and the tech that installed it should probably find another line of work. I’ve attempted to contact Safelite only to fall into seven layers of hell with their automated system. Apparently, they have no interest in speaking with a customer.

I booked online. I ended up getting $230 off in stackable discounts! The tech came to us, and he did a great job. Our service window was 8am-12pm. We got a text the night before with a link to a video showing us what to expect. The tech was there by 8:45 and finished by around 10am. He was very professional and friendly. I paid when I booked the appointment. He called when he was a couple minutes away. We met him on the porch with the keys. He returned them when finished. It couldn't have been easier, and it only cost $310 total for a new windshield, wipers, protective coating, and having them come to us.
