I did the mobile work shop that they have, and it was very easy and simple. Replaced my windshield in no time at all! How ever, since I moved for college and did not take my car with me, I didn't know of the issue that it had. When I got back for spring break and was driving it, there is a whistle coming from the top of the windshield and into the cabin, very annoying! And not to mention that that with the rain storm from spring break there was a bunch of water that leaked in onto my passenger floor board! I am very annoyed and disappointed! I tried calling the store several times, of which I got no answer, and it just sends me to their "service robot" that cant help with my issue! I don't know what I should do now! :(

Had an appointment for 1pm. Got there a few minutes early and the shop was closed. Door locked and all lights were out. Contacted Safelite by chat and they didn't respond until after 3pm. I had in the meantime called Safelite also at 1 pm and got through in about 5-10 min. They tried calling the shop with no answer. They said they'd try the tech and got no answer. They came back to me and said they'd keep trying the manager and tech and someone should be there soon. By this time it was already 20 after 1 and with not knowing if they would actually get a hold of someone, I cancelled the appointment and left. I had somewhere else I had to be in a short while that if I waited I would have been late. My time is valuable too. Disappointed that I couldn't get my repair. I hope that the rock chip doesn't spread before I can get it repaired in my hometown.

I had to have my 2005 Dodge mini van's windshield replaced. Did an online search for windshield repair near me and Safelite of Waterloo came up. The online scheduling was super easy, I had my appointment scheduled in less than 2 minutes. My tech Dakota showed up ontime and had a great attitude. He did a great job and I am totally satisfied with ther work. I woul high recommend them to anyone needind windshield repair in NE Iowa.

I typically do not write reviews but sharing this might help save someone time and frustration. I took my daughter’s car to have her windshield replaced at the Safelite shop. Unfortunately, the job was not done correctly—the molding was completely missing on the driver’s side and poorly installed on the passenger side. I called the next day to have this issue corrected and was told it needed to be scheduled as a warranty appointment. That was fine—I booked a mobile appointment for June 13th between 8am–12pm and received several confirmation texts throughout the week. I even had someone else call to double-check, and although they had the correct date, time, and appointment type, they had the wrong city for our ZIP code (50701). I corrected that and assumed everything was good to go. However, the appointment window came and went with no technician, no call, no update. I called Safelite and was first told there was no appointment. After being transferred, the next rep found it—but said it had been changed to an in-shop appointment and then canceled the day before at 7am, without my knowledge. She tried to reach the manager at the shop but couldn't get through. I was then offered another window between 12pm–5pm. I accepted, but after already wasting four hours, I decided to go to the shop directly, thinking it would be a quick 5-minute fix. To my shock, the shop was closed at 1:30 PM on a weekday—door locked, lights off, and service vehicles parked outside—despite their posted business hours being 8am–5pm. My time is valuable, and this entire experience was frustrating and unprofessional. The appointment is now rescheduled again for Monday at 2pm. Fingers crossed that this time, someone actually shows up to work to remedy the issue.

Friendly people but they messed up my lock on my door. So it doesn't work and then the tech who work on the problem when I took it back to get it fixed( which still doesn't work). Said to me do I really need to lock my car? Well it works before they replaced my regulator on drivers door. Called and left messages at there call center but THEY never got back to me. Big fat 0(zero) to their corporate office!!!!!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. We live over an hour away and sure this place got us in within a few days for my cracked windshield, as they were replacing it their incompetent workers cracked the new glass. I understand mistakes happen but the store manager Joe was extremely rude about it and didn’t own up to it or offer us any earlier appointments. Not to mention the gas we had to pay for to get there and back and the 3/4 tank they needed to recalibrate it that got wasted since they broke the glass. Never going back here and I wouldn’t waste your time at this location either. Do better safelite!!!
