Tech arrived early by about an hour. That's ok, but no warning and I'm down sick this week. They used STEEL TOOLS to poke outward through the seal and gouged a big deep gouge over an inch long through the paint down to bare steel around the windshield. I had to thoroughly clean the glass inside and out as the haze reflected badly in sunlight. The glass was left very streaked, unclean. But the gouge is what bothers me - you don't poke out through a rubber seal with a steel pointy tool aimed right at the paint, especially with limited edition paint. EDIT! My wife got in her jeep today and asked about the black running down the front of the dash - urethane "primer" or a cleaner. It's bonded to the leather and plastic parts. So we have about 1500 to remove the windshield, remove the windshield frame, metal repair, repaint, PLUS replacement of leather interior parts - dash pad, dash cover, switch bezel - two of them leather parts. Still waiting on numbers from dealership for the repairs. It's a 4xe which means any time parts touching the electric system are removed, the 12volt and the high voltage systems have to be shut down and disconnected per FCA documents. I spent several HOURS getting the information I have so far - and it sound like we'll be without the vehicle for a week or more getting repairs done. MYSAFELITE.COM will not allow me to "log in". It doesn't have our 2023 Jeep info and says the last repair was for a 2004. So I can't even get in to leave a review or make any contact. Apparently this repair has not been put into the safelite system or was put in under other name or number. UPDATE: The fiasco continues. Got a call from Safelite yesterday, Thursday, that my wife's JLU was done. The body shop had called them to let them know since they were listed as the paying party. The guy at Safelite said he had sent the order for payment through and that he'd let me know shortly when the shop had received it and we could go get it. This was at 3:45. I told my wife get ready - we'll be able to pick it up after while. An hour passed - I called Safelite and the body shop - no, body shop had no such record of a payment, and Safelite said - well, I did sent it to corporate, they should be paying it, you'll be able to get it tomorrow. So today comes and I wait - and wait...... no call. So, at about noon, I called Safelite - guy says that he was going to email corporate and see where things stood. I called the body shop - yes, it's done and ready but they've heard nothing about any payment. I wait a while longer - Safelite still knows nothing. I said screw it - asked the body shop if we could pick it up and pay and then get reimbursed when Safelite pays them. Sure, not a problem. So we arrive at the bodyshop and the guy says - ****no, we can't reimburse you, Safelite will have to pay you. **** Now it looks like because we paid so we could get our vehicle back (a day - 24 hours - after it was done) that payment is going to be a problem - the body shop can't reimburse us, and the payment request was to pay the shop. This is getting way too complicated. They should pay as soon as the vehicle is repaired so the customer can have their own vehicle back. Not days and days later! Done Thursday and still no info on payment as of end of day Friday? Everyone is closed on the weekend (at corporate and the body shop)

My windshield was damaged to the point my car was not safe to drive. I called on a Thursday to schedule the replacement and was scheduled for the following Monday between noon and 5 . At 2 minutes before 5 I was texted saying due to calibration issues they couldn't make it. I called in and was told I would need to. be rescheduled to the following Saturday. To me I should have been the next in line to be repaired, but instead was pushed back so others that were scheduled after me could go first

Set an appointment to have my windshield replaced and once the tech showed up he started right away. I came out when he was almost finished and asked how it went and he told me he ended up cutting the piller on the side of the windshield. He said I could call and make a complaint but they would tell me it was wear and tear. Right I don’t think so. I contacted the store and the manager said he would order me a new part but after a couple of weeks I had not heard anything so I called back and they told me they couldn’t get the parts so I asked for a partial refund. Manager agreed and now it’s crickets it has been almost two months and nothing. This company is a joke they gladly take your money destroy your car and do nothing to fix it. Do not waste your time with this company just look at all the bad reviews!!!!!!! I should have done my homework on them firstServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentOverpriced

I got a quote for replacing my windshield that was $377.37 from Safelite in my inbox. When I clicked the link to actually schedule, the cost ended up being about $70 more after taxes and fees. I ended up speaking to a representative and they found me a deal to get me the original quoted price which was great. Unfortunately my repair technician did not arrive in the time slot that I chose. My time feels disrespected because I planned my day around when Safelite told me the technician would arrive. I am currently on the line with another representative on hold.

Cheyenne & shop team did a great job replacing my Jeep Gladiator windshield. The "Billing Process" itself what a bit confusing and messed up itself, no fault of Cheyenne & Team. Automation is not quite perfected yet. But I believe this is critical to look into. A $300 overage error is big. The inability to do the installation onsite was completely understandable with the high winds today. Cheyenne transported my Jeep Gladiator to a close shop and again did an excellent job! Thank you! I can’t say I had a good experience with Safelite. First I called to make an appt which I was disconnected twice because I was needing to talk to customer service and couldn’t get there. When I finally got to customer service 15 minutes later..I was quoted 164.99 to fill a chip in my windshield and was told it was guaranteed not to crack more or they would replace my windshield free. When I got to the site I was told that wasn’t true that they would just put my repair money towards a new windshield. NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD.. when I got my receipt there was another 7.99 added for the filler put in the chip. I called the clerk out on it and she said that was extra. Not told that either. I would not recommend them.
