I would give zero stars if possible. I am extremely irritated. I made an appointment on a Tuesday for Friday from 8am-12pm. On Thursday I received the confirmation email stating I would have a specific technician doing the service. Additionally, I made special arrangements at work to have my vehicle inside the shop where it is heated to make it easier for the tech, however my company closes at 4pm. Which is why I chose the morning appointment slot. Well, Friday came and 8am quickly turned into 12:30pm and I hadn’t heard a single thing from safelite or my assigned tech. No calls, no texts, no emails. I called, texted and emailed every contact I could find in my confirmation notifications and online. Absolutely no one could tell me what was going on. I had no idea if the tech was just running late (30 minutes late to the last possible time in my appointment slot at this point) or if he wasn’t coming at all. Mind you, my car is sitting in the middle of a manufacturing plant for 4.5 hours at this point. We’ll eventually 12:30pm turned into 1:30pm and I still can’t get ahold of anyone, nor have I been contacted in any way. Finally at 1:45, I got the call from the tech saying he was 45 minutes away (which is absolutely unacceptably ridiculous that an hour and 45 minutes after my appointment slot, I’m finally notified that it will be ANOTHER 45 minutes until he gets there). I asked the tech why it was so late without any form of contact and he claimed that “you were just added to my schedule just now”, however the tech that called me was the same tech that was listed on my confirmation the day prior. Therefore, I find it extremely hard to believe that i was just added almost 2 hours after my appointment slot ended. He did eventually show up at 2:30, at which point I had to move my vehicle outside the building at the risk that he wouldn’t finish before the company closed and he would be kicked out before finishing. Overall, it was a horrible experience.

I need an existing windshield resealed because it was installed poorly a few years ago and has come partially loose. However, the phone number uses the world's least useful voice assistant. Literally all it can do is tell you to visit the website (which did not provide the information I need, and is therefore why I called), or manage an appointment for replacing broken glass. So, if you don't have a broken window or an existing appointment, don't bother calling. Eventually, the automated system will send you a text message with the website address and then hang up on you. Truly the worst phone experience I've ever had - and I've worked tech support.NegativeResponsiveness

Updating our review from a previous 1 star rating. We had our vehicle’s back window replaced after a complete shatter. The scheduling to repair was very timely, literally the next day and at our home. After the repair, we did deal with some inconveniences, including a bulge in part of the window placement and the back door latch of our car being stuck shut from broken glass. It took several days to fix the window bulge and a couple weeks to fix the handle, due to needing to order a new part. Safelite paid the cost of the handle and repaired it to normal conditions. A service with a couple hiccups, but their customer service to resolve our issue was really good. We’d trust them to replace any windows again

Pro's: shop estimated that it would take 3 hours to install my new windshield, it only took 1 hour. Con's: It appears that the technician cut the weather stripping taking out the old windshield, didnt bother putting a new one on. I spoke to, who i assumed, was the manager about it before I paid the $1,000 bill. He stated, if it leaks, it has a lifetime warranty so I could bring it back in. I would've preferred to either wait the 3 hours or paid more to get a new seal and not have to worry about my brand new car leaking.

We were able to easily schedule our appointment online for a windshield replacement next day. Collin called me ahead of time to make sure that it was okay for him to stop by. He was very professional and explained what he would be doing and the timeframe. He did an amazing job replacing my windshield and even found a few goodies hidden up under the glass he shared with me. I appreciate his expediency and would recommend this service to anyone who needs a replacement.PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, ValueServicesAuto windshield replacement

Update: Your canned response below is insulting. I comment that I want to talk to a live person on the phone and you respond with an answer of how I can contact you via all the methods OTHER THAN a live person on the phone. You guys are a joke. Original comment: Spent 20 minutes trying to get a live person on the phone. When you call the local number it routes you thru to their automated service that just keeps reverting you to their website or hanging up on you if you don't pick one of the pre chosen call tree options. Get your chat bots updated and give people an option to speak to a live person AT THE LOCATION THEY CALL
