I’m sorry we just don’t have placemats for your car while we replace your window so here’s some mud on the baseboard carpet hope you can clean it out! I was so excited to get my broken glass replaced and ugh the experience was good with the exception that one of the managers didn’t care about my situation just played it down let the picture show you what I found when i picked up my car. Also let’s not forget I found small fragments of glass all over dashboard. Still waiting for a call back but no one seems to care

Terrible Customer Service – Avoid This Location! If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at Safelite AutoGlass in Addison, IL, was beyond frustrating, thanks to the complete lack of professionalism from the manager, Todd. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that customer service is NOT a priority here. Todd was rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping resolve my issue. Rather than addressing my concerns, he acted as if I was an inconvenience. His attitude was condescending, and he made no effort to provide a solution or even basic courtesy. It’s shocking that someone with such a poor attitude is in a management position. On top of that, the service itself was slow and disorganized. I was given conflicting information, and it was clear that communication is a huge issue at this location. Do yourself a favor—take your business elsewhere. I will NEVER return to this Safelite location, and I strongly advise others to avoid it as well. There are plenty of other auto glass repair shops that actually value their customers.

I had my wife take our car to have the windshield replaced on 07/01/2021. Upon coming home and talking with her about the experience and inspecting our car, I was not impressed. Here is a list of what I noticed/ was told. 1. My wife was told that there would be neon tape on after the installation and to keep the tape on for 2 hours- there was no tape. 2. My wife couldn't find our state farm beacon when the installation was finished. She had to go back inside and ask the technician for it. They searched the car and found that it was under the seat- this should have been done prior to returning the car. 3. The weather stripping around the windshield seems to be poorly installed. Im no expert in this, but the seams don't seem to be quality work- will it leak? Time will tell. 4. This was the most frustrating for me. When I inspected the car that afternoon I noticed that the trim panel by the windshield wiper wasn't properly installed (it was sticking out), therefore I had to pop it back into place myself. Upon further investigation I found 2 crucial parts missing from the cowl (push fasteners). Without these in, the entire plastic trim that meets the windshield flexes- one would think this would be reinstalled correctly. 5. Wiper blade installation prices are astronomical at $29 a side. Totaling $64. Overall, my expectations were higher of Safelite and it is obvious that the work done here is rushed and not one of quality. I would not come here again.NegativeQuality, ValueServicesWiper blade installation, Auto windshield replacement

Contrary to what the reviews say, the customer service here was pleasant. I brought my Lexus for a windshield replacement, and they were able to add a coupon which was appreciated. Not only that, but my mother also tagged along and she had a crack in her window and they took time out of their busy day to fix it. They didn’t have to do that. It was greatly appreciated. They even stuck back my iPass back onto the windshield. It’s the little things. I definitely recommend this location! Traveled from Naperville and it was well worth it.

The receptionist was the best part of my experience. She was kind and thorough. My appointment was scheduled for December 30 2023 at 9:30am and I was told it would take about two hours to complete a windshield replacement. I did not receive a call back until 12:50pm that my car was ready. Not only did my car take over 3 hours, my speaker was not properly reconnected after the service. Lucky for me, my husband is a mechanic and was able to fix it for me so I didn't have to make another trip. The windshield itself looked okay, but could have definitely looked better around the glass. Based on the edges of the windshield it looked like it was a rushed job (scratches on the sealant). I definitely will not be returning here for any additional services.

The back window of my van shattered on one Saturday (possibly due to the cold weather here in the Chicago suburbs?). I contacted Safelite via their website. After answering some basic questions, I was able to make an appointment for their first available slot which was the afternoon of the following Tuesday. After completing the process online, I received both emails and text messages confirming my appointment. As the day neared, I was given additional emails and text messages reminding me of the appointment. On the day of my appointment, I was called by the technician Albert around 8am saying he would be available to come early (around 9am) instead of the anticipated time of arrival at noon if that was ok. Since I was available, I was pleased to have him come early. He arrived around 9:05 and began the process around 9:15. Around 10:45, I received a call to come out to see his progress. He told me he had about 20-25 minutes left. The interior portion of the back hatch door had been removed. The inside of my van had been vacuumed perfectly of all the broken glass. The outside surface of the van had been completely cleaned of prior adhesive. And in my presence, he applied the new adhesive for the window. He then applied the window gently and intricately so that it was perfectly even throughout. He explained to me that I shouldn't drive the vehicle for at least an hour and to avoid car washes for at least 24 hours. He reminded me that the window had a lifetime warranty as well. As the window was setting, he said I could go back into the house and that he would call me when the job was completed. About 15 minutes later, I received a call and when I came out, he was already completely packed. He had turned my vehicle on and started the rear defroster so that I could feel the warmth of the glass. Albert was absolutely awesome! In our conversation, he mentioned he had been doing this for 39 years. This was reassuring and gave me the confidence that the job would be done the way it was supposed to be done...correctly! After the job was completed, Albert was able to get/give me a discount on the window disposal fee since the back window had been completely shattered leaving very little to dispose. For his hard work and ability to remove the disposal fee, I tipped him accordingly. He absolutely deserved it!!! Although I may have spent $50-$100 more (that's being quite generous) versus the traditional way of having a shop do it, I didn't have to wait for my window to be ordered; I didn't have to find multiple places who could do it and/or who were available; I didn't have to drive it to their place and then have to find a way back; I didn't have to rent or borrow a car adding to more inconvenience and/or expense; and lastly, I didn't have to leave the comfort of my own home. Personally, to avoid all the headache and inconvenience, I would strongly recommend using Safelite!!! I am so grateful that this service is available and that the process was so easy, thorough, and quick. And with a lifetime warranty, I feel very safe knowing I can rely on Safelite should I ever need their expertise again. Book with confidence!!!
