I was contacted by the insurance company immediately and informed me that Safelite would be fixing my windshield. Shortly there after Safelite contacted me and we made an appointment. They sent me several text letting me know how the process would go. When I got to the shop the folks there were very cordial and informative. The entire process, including calibrating the safety software only took 2 1/2 hours. The waiting area was very clean and squared away.. After they replaced the windshield and calibrated the sensors, they explained everything that was done the warranty and how to contact them if I had any questions later. Great experience all around.

Made an appointment for today for a reason. Because I am on a tight schedule with having work and school plus childcare schedule. I got email and text reminders for my appointment today. I show up with no parking, as it is a tiny area, not even an actual parking lot. Than the guy tells me my appointment is next Tuesday, a day I would never have ever scheduled my appointment for. He jokes that I can sit and wait. I asked if that meant he could fit me in today. He said no I can sit and wait until Tuesday. Never apologized just made jokes at my expense. The comfy waiting area advertised is simply a tiny area wirh a couple of chairs directly in front of the service desk with a worker who thinks he is a comedian. I tried calling to reschedule my appointment and waited 30 minutes on hold and hung up. I logged in to reschedule to the portland location and the website won't work. I will find a different glass company as this place is lacking customer service and any sort of professionalism. I do not trust them to repair my 2024 windshield. Do not recommend

I recently had a window incident in which my entire back windshield was smashed. I am currently at our summer camp in Maine so had no idea how to handle. Thankfully my insurance company arranged for Safelite to repair. Within minutes I had my appointment scheduled on the next business day! And this did not involve me to travel to their shop but the technician came to me (down a mile and half dirt driveway). And then to find the technician to be very thorough and conscientious was the icing on the cake. Within an hour I was back on the road again. So from start to finish it was a totally seamless procedure and one I would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you Safeliite glass in Augusta and technician Glenn!ServicesAuto rear window replacement

I’m leaving a review because when I tried to call to review the driving of a van I got hung up on so I suppose google reviews will have to work. I went to run an errand and when I returned to my apartment building my spot was being blocked by a van (number 19048) and when I asked how long they would be because they’re blocking my spot (and I’m really not supposed to park anywhere else in the parking lot) he rudely responded with 45 minutes and that me parking in MY SPOT would interfere with his work. When I called the customer help line as is printed on the van I was put on the line with a woman who was speaking so quietly I couldn’t hear her even with my volume all the way up and my ear to the speaker. I gave her the van number and she asked me something that I couldn’t understand because of how quiet she was being so I politely asked if she could repeat what she said, I still didn’t understand so I kind of chuckled and said “sorry, my phones being really quiet right now, could I hear that one more time?” And she hung up on me. (Attached is the picture of my spot being blocked)

Josh, Alan and Shane provided exceptional service and craftsmanship! I HIGHLY recommend the staff there at 251 State Street in Augusta! !!!!!HOWEVER!!!!! Safelite Corporate should be ashamed of the ancient (1930's?) facility, and its deteriorating condition. Collapsed interior office ceilings plagued with a leaky roof and mold is nothing short of an eyesore and health risk!!!! This facility is not for the faint of heart! SHAME ON YOU SAFELITE CORPORATE! In addition, Safelite misrepresents its facility with posted photographs of a different modern facility instead of this RUNDOWN, nearly 100 year old structure. Corporate policy makes it nearly impossible to telephone the local store (if you might be running late) in which case you may lose your appointment altogether!) And Safelite's response: "We apologize this experience did not fully meet your expectations." Corporate investor profits over customer convenience appear to be the order of the day for Safelite. Street signage is non-existent, so be prepared to zoom right past Safelite Augusta and be prepared to turn around once you realized you missed the location! See photos!

I’m a tough one to get a perfect score out of, but this crew deserves it! I had a Jeep Wrangler and a Jeep gladiator both needing a new windshield and I was super frustrated. Alan was my contact person for both and throughout the drop off, replacement and follow up care. He made a very frustrating situation, extremely easy. Getting a direct cell phone number and communicating with me instead of me chasing someone down was above and beyond what I expected! I had a chance to speak with a couple of the other guys in the shop between drop offs and pick ups and everybody was super nice and helpful! Whether they come to you, or you go to them, do yourself a favor and choose Alan and his crew over at Safelite in Augusta!
