Safelite AutoGlass

I had an overall amazing experience! Being able to go online to get my quote and then book my appointment was easy and great! From the beginning everyone I talked to was very nice and helpful! The day of my appointment the tech called when he was on the way(which was on time) to let me know he was almost to me, and from there I was texted every step! After he was done with installation and cleaning up, he came and knocked on the door to let me look at the window to make sure i was satisfied! He did an amazing job and it didn’t take long at all! He was kind and answered all my questions! I definitely had a 10/10 experience! Hope I won’t need Safelite again but if I ever do they will most definitely be who I use!

This is our first time calling safelite having to deal with something like this, and I was very pleased with being able to go on the Internet and get a quote, but then I called to make sure the quote was accurate and spoke with a representative. She was extremely friendly and helpful. The technician was amazing when he came out everything went smoothly. He called us. Before he arrived as he was supposed to replace our windshield, everything was exactly the way it should’ve been. I love when a company can operate like that. It’s hard to find a company with friendly representatives such as my technician and the person I spoke with, but I can really appreciate when I get the five star service that I received

I wish we would never have brought out car here. We got a rock chip in our windshield while driving on the highway. We filed a claim with our insurance and were directed to Safelite because they are partnered with our insurance. When we arrived for the appointment they told us the chip looked like it had already been repaired and we told them it had not. When they brought out our car after the "repair" what was a chip about the size of a dime now had a 2 inch crack coming out of it. We were told 'It opened up a bit during the repair but it shouldn't spread any further". Well to absolutely no one's surprise only four days later the crack is now almost a foot long. We now have to pay out of pocket for a complete windshield replacement and I have to wonder if that wasn't their goal from the start. We would've been much better off not having the windshield "repaired" at all. Will definitely not be bringing it to Safelite for the replacement.NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

Had safelite repair my windshield a few months ago at this location. In order to replace my windshield they had to take off the trim from above my window. Was driving down the road today and saw something blow off my car in my rearview. turned around and looked through the ditch and the trim had come off. Tried to call this location & kept getting the runaround by the automated system. No way to contact the company without getting automated voicemail and then hung up on. Looks like they broke some of the clips on the trim of my fj cruiser. Got a new number and when it asked for my number I put in my old number and it says they couldn't find it and hangs up on me. No way to get ahold of anyone. Such a scam

Not the best service. I've used Safelite in the past with no issues. This time after the repair and we started driving at highway speeds there was a wind noise. I rolled the window down about an inch and back up. The window was worse. Making more wind noise and wouldn't roll up completely. We called the tech and he said he would call me back after he looked at the schedule on Saturday. We haven't heard from him as of Tuesday. I had to schedule a warranty repair for this original claim. It also still sounds like there might be glass inside the door, but I'm not completely sure.b

Excellent place to go for repairs if you are a fan of poor-quality work and being called a liar by the manager. Original replacement only lasted a year before an obvious installation defect occurred. When asked about the possibility of warranty fix it was met with hostility. Safelite corporate said it would be covered by warranty due to the nature of the failure, but then the shop refused when the vehicle was brought in. It would be a different situation if they at least adhered to what they were told by Safelite corporate but that is not the case. I would highly recommend another shop if you are in need of windshield repair or replacement in Muncie.
