The service technician, David, was professional, friendly, and knowledgable. He worked around the weather and worked with me on the location to do the windshield replacement. As long as the work holds up when I do use the car wash for the first time and experience my first rainstorm, I have to say that I am MORE than pleased with the work.

The appointment was easy to make online. We arrive early but they still too our car back within a few minutes and told us it wouldn’t take but about an hour or a little more. They were friendly and did a great job. We didn’t have to wait near as long as I thought we would. Would recommend to any one needing services for glass repair or windshield/window replacement.

Was to get windshield replaced between 8-12. They called at 730 and gave me update that I would be their 2nd appointment, cool. Car was at an auto repair shop. I called the repair shop at 4 to see if my car was ready and to ask them if the windshield was replaced. They said the tech showed up for 5 min then left without explanation to them or a phone call to me. So now I go through the hassle of trying to get a hold of them. Once they finally answer their phone, they said that the rearview mirror bracket was different and they couldn’t replace the windshield. It would’ve been nice to know and to have a phone call within the hours of service instead I had to call them and get the information out of them. They said they were busy But a phone call takes less than five minutes to explain a situation. Communication is key and customer service which this Safelite truly lacks.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service and warranty process at Safelite. After my windshield was replaced, the rain sensor was improperly installed, and I reported the issue and had it serviced under warranty at the Alexandria Shop. They attempted a repair, but the rain sensor was again installed incorrectly resulting in error messages on my car and the wipers malfunctioning. When I had no choice but to go to the dealership to resolve the issue, Safelite refused to reimburse me, citing lack of "prior authorization," even though they failed to fix the problem when I brought it to them and gave them an opportunity to fix it themselves. This experience has been frustrating and feels like a failure to honor their warranty promise. It’s unacceptable that I followed all steps required—reporting the issue promptly and allowing them to try to repair it—yet I’m left with additional out-of-pocket expenses.

I had a chip repair and was told to leave the keys in my vehicle and all would be handled. I said ok I will be sleeping because I'm working nights and if not I'll need a different appointment. They said no just leave the keys in it and nothing else will be needed from you. So I'm sleeping and he comes knocking on the door so the kids come Wake me up saying that he needs me. I was mad but I went and he asked me to sign. I told him I clearly said I would be sleeping and I wouldn't be bothered. He went to work on it I went back to bed well he was knocking again. I had to get up again for him to tell me it didn't work that the windshield broke. I was really mad then. I could have scheduled this for a day off. The was very unprofessional and I'm highly disappointed and disgusted with the whole process.
