Technician came to replace a shattered passenger window. Glass was replaced but during the process he knocked the track mechanism (wire) off track. He then stated he disconnect the electric power to the window in the up position and told me the mechanism was broken, which is a lie or poorly trained person. The mechanism still worked but wire that did the raising and lowerering was knocked out of its guide pully. He said there was nothing he could do and left...their customer service person also stated could could get it fixed but by other companies, never once did either the tech or service representative mention that they could fix it....which is clearly part of their website advertising. Poorly trained or incompetent workers or company as a whole..rating required to post this is 0. But the site will only let me post a 1 as minimumServicesAuto power window repairPrice assessmentNot sure

Safelite has the best service techs period. Great communication, on time, organized and fast. Truth be told, if I wanted to do the windshield replacement next time myself I wouldn’t. My service tech made it look so easy, why would I bother with it. At the price and service level, I will never DIY on these jobs. Safelite repair, Safelite replace is my thinking from now on! Thanks guys!

Great customer service, the whole team there were very helpful with getting me fixed and back on the road. This is not the first time I've used them and won't be the last. I highly recommend them because they're very attentive and do an awesome job. Thanks for the great service and making my day better after not starting off so good. 👍

FINALLY!!! An auto service establishment that meets expectations. I made an appointment for 10:00, but showed up early by about 20 minutes. I told them I understood I was early and they said the repair usually takes about 30 minutes. I walked to get a cup of coffee and received a text about 10 minutes later that they had begun working on my vehicle. HOLY COW! See some of my previous reviews concerning "appointments" in this area. AWESOME, not only did they actually start the repair per my appointment, but they started it early. So, I started walking back and sure enough about 30 minutes after they began work, my vehicle was complete. And get this, the technician came in to drop off my keys to the customer service rep working the desk, but she was busy on the phone with a customer. Instead of just dropping off the paperwork with her, he called my name and he personally finished the transaction and I paid and got my keys and was out the door. Hunter was the technician (I didn't catch the customer service representative's name, but she was also professional and helpful when I arrived). I couldn't be happier with my experience in the store today. My only complaint was one for Safelite "national". Your automated telephone system is horrible. Give it a call sometime, you will be disappointed. I never could get in contact with anyone. Ended up just booking online.

Update: Safelite claims that quotes are subject to change but as I stated below, the price changed at the point of sale - not during the preliminary quote. All I can say is buyer beware. So I’ll start by saying I don’t know which location the onsite repairman works with, but he was extremely professional and pleasant. His service was ideal. But as for Safelite - the company, I would never patronize the company again. I was given one price throughout the entire checkout process but once the payment cleared, the total was about $70 more than the total balance listed. It is very deceptive. It’s during the actual checkout process that there is a price “update.” I received several quotes and though Safelite was the most expensive, it was not so much different from other companies that I did not want to take advantage of a speedy, onsite repair. After the final payment was “updated,” I ended up paying over a $130 more than I would have at Glass America… Starr Glass was also a more affordable option.

Wow I called to see if I can get a 8 am appointment at this location and you have to give them all your information before they can tell you if they can. I live in Florida flying out of MSY tomorrow and needed a small chip in my windshield repaired. Should have been super easy yes we can or no we can’t. Torture calling them ! Never ever again.
