My experience was horrible. I made an appointment online because you can't get someone on the phone. Did not receive any call to confirm the appointment or the service needed. I scheduled on Thursday for a Saturday appointment. Showed up to appointment and I was met at the door by a worker who was not pleasant. This worker said my windshield could not be repaired and that my appointment was for repaired and not replacement, there's nothing they can do for me today. My appointment was made for replacement, several calls to corporate and noo e was able to help but i did found out from the corporate office that they had the windshield for my vehicle. Strange but yet did not want to replace it . I clearly have a Crack on my windshield which I noted when making appointment online. Stay away from Brockton not sure if thats the reason why the experience was horrible and a convulted mess. Anyways I decided to go to a different glass company to get my windshield replaced.

If I never have to go here again, it’ll be too soon. Dropped my truck off at 9am. They confirmed my phone number and said they’d reach out when it was done. I attempted to call the business at 3:30 for an update and got a call taker from the main #. She was very polite and put me on hold. After a minute she said the store wasn’t answering her phone call and she gave me the direct number to try myself. I called several times between 3:30-4:30 and got no answer. Since they close at 5, I got there at 4:50 and was informed they hadn’t even touched the truck yet. I was told they were staying late to do the work and they’d call me that night and I could pick it up. I never got a phone call. The following morning I got an email at 7am saying they started the work. I happened to check my email later in the day and I had received another email saying the work was done. Every single text I received prior to the appointment stated I would get text updates throughout the day. A simple text or phone call explaining they couldn’t get the work done that first day would’ve been acceptable. Instead I received zero communication for an entire day and then the following day I get an email. Completely unprofessional experience. Can’t wait to read the standard reply from them saying they’ll notify the management team (and nothing will be done).

It took over 2 weeks and 4 workorders (4 re-scheduled appointments) to get our front windshield replaced. We were provided with complimentary windshield wipers, but this does not compensate for over half a month of lost worktime (especially for someone who uses their vehicle as primary means to earn money). Representatives insist that nobody is at fault for the 4 consecutive re-schedule's/delays. When the work order was fulfilled, my wife came to pick up the car and had our keys thrown on the table in her direction by the representative releasing the car, with some additional mumbled remarks about how we shouldn't be complaining. Not sure who threw the keys at my wife, but overall this was a dreadful experience. Safelite will not be the company we use in the future, even if its recommended by our insurance.NegativeProfessionalism

Went to the Brockton location today because my insurance company recommended them. I arrived early and was greeted by a nice lady. After waiting over 2 hours I asked about what was going on. The lady at the counter said it is almost done. I asked why is it taking so long, the lady behind her (I assumed it was a manager) said: Our technicians are not that good. I almost fainted that an employee would tell a customer this. Got into my van and there was trash inside my van. Guess she was right on multiple levels. Called my insurance company while I was sitting in the parking lot and told them if they EVER referred me to that place again I will cancel my insurance.NegativeProfessionalism

Horrible customer service. My daughter took her car here through our auto insurance to have her windshield replaced and they broke her car radio, left the car dirty and forgot to put the inspection sticker back on. We took the car back to have the inspection done and they said we would have to take somewhere else to get that done and come back with a receipt for a reimbursement. The next day we did that went back to their establishment with the receipt and of course they can't do it because the mgr isn't in. We now need to wait for a call back. So basically one of your technicians screwed up and now we have to do all the running around and being inconvenienced. Will never take our cars there again and would never recommend them. I will definitely be letting my insurance co. know what horrible service we received.

I needed to have the weather stripping around the rear window of my car repaired as it had come loose. A small job that the dealership would not touch because it involved the glass. So I made an appointment with Safelight. Originally told, the glass which was fine, must be replaced too, to the tune of $330. I agreed only to get someone here to help and knew I would negotiate a more realistic service fee. I thought, when they see what's really needed they will understand. I was right. When the technician Benjamin arrived, he laughed. He replaced and sealed weather stripping. He was prompt, courteous, professional, and best of all had a sense of humor about it. Final actual cost $0. Thank you Safelight, thank you Benjamin!
