Cons: -The calibration service and windshield replacement are twice as expensive as the dealer -They could not calibrate the forward collision system -They incorrectly installed an aftermarket windshield first time (3.5 hours round trip) and said this is why the cameras would not calibrate (this is true as per the dealer) -They installed an OEM windshield and still could not calibrate the cameras (the dealer did not understand why as it calibrated fine for them) -The cowl trim was damaged and now it rattles in the wind -The wire cover for my rear view mirror power fell off when driving and I needed to fix it -The windshield wiper spray line was not reconnected -The dash had debris on it left over from replacing the windshield that I had to carefully clean myself -I lost 7 hours dealing with them and was left with non operable forward collision, non operable lake keep assist, non operational adaptive cruise, the basic cruise control did not function, the basic blind spot detection did not function -More time was wasted taking the car to the dealer to have it properly repaired Pros: -They were quick to ask me to sign paperwork stating that my car could not be calibrated and that they are not liable if I am in a crash. -The windshield did not leak in a heavy rainstorm Recommendations: If you have a safety system that needs calibrated after repair, just go to a good dealer. They will be cheaper than Safelite and you stand a better chance of having the car repaired correctly the first time.

I would not advise using this company for "Professional Windshield Installation". I came for a crack in my windshield because the windshield needed to be replaced. I was told that the windshield replacement would take 2-3 hours, I was there for 5.5 hours!! I pay for OEM equipment in my insurance policy, and prior to the work starting the manager confirmed that only OEM replacement equipment would be used for my windshield replacement. When I received my car back the molding was cut in multiple places all around the windshield, and does not fit flush to my car-it is sticking out in multiple places. When I pointed this out I was told that Acura did not send the factory molding so they had to use aftermarket molding-which clearly does not fit and there are huge gaps between the molding and the car. The manager confirmed to me prior that only OEM equipment would be used. If they did not have the proper tools to make the proper repair the appointment should have been rescheduled, or someone should have spoken told me. In addition I noticed that my windshield has multiple chips and gashes all along the edges of the glass going all the way around the windshield. When I pointed this out I was told that they ordered the OEM windshield from Acura, but they sent a defective windshield-And the defective windshield was still installed on my car. The highlight of my day with Safelite was when my key fob was lost!!! Please review my pictures and decide if you want this done to your vehicle. If you zoom in you will see the damages to my car.

I guess Safelite has a monopoly on windshield replacement, so I’m not sure what good this will do. Absolutely terrible experience. Appointment date and time changing via automated text 2/3 times. Took a month to coordinate the appointment around my schedule. So much for their B.S. TV commercials. Then, I leave work in the middle of the day and travel across town, and the location says “did Safelite confirm this appointment”? I said…are YOU NOT Safelite (guy’s wearing a Safelite shirt). I get it, but wth. I show him the email confirmation, but he didn’t have the glass. Next try- the next day. Early drop 6:00am. They don’t start the work till 12:30. It takes 2 hours (not sure how that’s $550 labor). Then I’m driving home and get hit by downpour on the highway. And…I have no blades on my wipers. Yo…next level bad service all around. If you can, find a different way! Sorry Safelite, this was warranted.

Dropped my car at 9:30am to have my window fixed, 4:30pm I'm finally told they looked at it and can't fix it because the part they ordered was broken. Lmfao!!! This seems to be a constant lie used to literally get rid of customers for the day! Heres the best part! They lied right to my face! They never even bothered to look at my car window but instead pretend they did and waste my entire day playing games! Go anywhere else! Customer service sucks! They dont care about the customers at all and the technicians would literally rather lose customers than do their jobs! Ya you got me the books then pulled the same crap!!! They are selling used parts for full price!!! Go to advance auto and buy your own parts and take it to a real shop! What a bunch of unprofessional turds that work for this useless company!!!

Our insurance company booked us an appointment here for our cracked windshield. My wife showed up on time for our appointment (in the afternoon - not in the morning as the owner’s response mistakenly indicates). The lobby was dark. The automatic lights turned on when she walked in (during normal business hours). She stood in the lobby for 20 minutes. No one came in to check her in. She couldn’t get anyone’s attention and was not about to walk out into the bay with our infant. She finally left and we are in the process of having our insurance find another company. I would advise people to avoid wasting their time here. We’ve let our insurance company know that they may not want to send any more of their customers here either.

Please think twice about using this business. The repair of the broken power rear sliding window in my pick-up was a 3 month nightmare. No communication. Showing up for appointment at 0830, waiting for two hours only to be told the the parts were not on the 0800 delivery truck. Then it was we can’t replace the power unit as it is sealed in the whole window, then it was they shipped the whole window unit but no power unit was included. The final straw, after the window was repaired (not correctly) was finding pieces of my plastic trim behind the seat were cracked and broken which I did not find until two days later. They said nothing about the damage. Upon taking the truck to my Toyota dealer to see what it would cost to replace the plastic trim, I was told the sliding window did not operate correctly (control unit not properly installed). The estimate to fix everything is nearly $1600. And Safelite is dragging their feet on making my truck and myself “whole” again. My insurance Co is trying to help me out. Anyone know a good lawyer?
