Husband drive 45mins along with a friend to drop off our car to be fixed the next day while we were on vacation. The next day we got a call that it couldn’t be fixed the wrong thing was ordered. We called and my husband spoke to a women and asked if it was on our end when we filled out everything and we were told no they ordered it wrong. We wanted to know because we now had to reschedule at a location back home and wanted to make sure if it was on our end we fixed and did the right thing for the order at home. My husband had our friend drive all the way back out there to pick up our not fixed car and was met with a very rude women who had an attitude. After he called me and told me about how she was when he picked up the car I called because I was very frustrated at this point with this entire situation. I asked for the manager but he wasn’t available I explained why I was calling and she tried to say she wasn’t rude and told me we were allowed to have our opinion but it wasn’t there fault it was our fault (after she told us this morning on the phone that it wasn’t our fault) to which I said I found it even more frustrating that they are now backtracking and I would call Monday to speak to the manager. Called to speak to a manager and he wasn’t very much help told me there were three sides to every story that the women shouldn’t have said that and nothing has been offered as a way to rectify the situation and the fact that wasted how much gas driving back and forth for nothing and the rude experience. I wouldn’t recommend them.

My appt was canceled due to weather. They sent texts asking to confirm new appt or reschedule. I sent a text asking for refund. Instead, they showed up and did it without my permission, and they never left vm or knocked on my door. Why confirm when it doesn't matter? Why ask to reschedule when it doesn't matter? I was on another call when the tech called, and when they sent text saying he was here. I don't answer calls from unknown callers. Leave a VM instead of calling over and over again. OR knock on my door if you want to speak to me. I don't know if they changed my rear wiper or not. My advice is DO NOT PREPAY. When I chatted online they gave me the direct number for the store. But it wasn't a direct number it was their automated l8ne. Remember the good old days when you could talk to a human? Why offer a “contact us” link if they don't read them? Miscommunication on their part. I communicated but you can only confirm or reschedule there is no option to cancel. Can't talk to anyone. It's funny that all negative reviews seem to be about miscommunication and yet Safelite has done nothing to change the problem. They just say sorry about your experience. Why not add “but we don't care enough to change how we conduct ourselves.” how about adding “other” to the options? Confirm, reschedule, or OTHER? Provide a direct line to speak to a representative. Knock on the door if no one replies. Not replying is my answer. Respect my requests, and answer the email I sent two days before the new unconfirmed service. But if I don't confirm, and I don't reschedule then wait until you speak to me. Don't assume it's okay to do it anyway. It was not confirmed, you did not have my permission. So show up and do it anyway? Mind-boggling. I needed that money to fly to California for a family emergency. Thanks, Safelite for making my life harder. Watch the response will be sorry you weren't happy with our service. Nothing will change and no monetary option will be offered. They don't care if you want the service done or not. They're gonna do whatever they want whenever they want to. Why bother asking?

Scheduled my windshield replacement service (a very simple and quick process, the website is super easy to navigate), needed to be rescheduled twice due to awaiting necessary parts (first time) and potential rain (second time). I was ultimately refunded a portion of the cost, as a result of needing to be rescheduled. That was a really nice consideration. Appointment day, the technician was prompt and efficient. He had the job done in less than 2 hours and when he left, the only indication he'd been there was my shiny new windshield, free of the gigantic crack it had been sporting for the past year. The technician was also very tolerant of our barn cat, as well as the rogue chicken running around the back yard. I'm appreciative of that as well! All in all, fantastic experience (can't blame mother nature for impeding on initial plans, and I was fine to wait until Safelite could confirm that they had all of the proper materials necessary). Communication was top tier, and technicians are punctual and respectful. Hoping this windshield replacement is the only one I'll ever need, but I will absolutely highly recommend Safelite to friends and family and will be a returning customer if I find myself in need again. Thanks, y'all! Keep up the great work!

I was disappointed about the service I got. There were bits of glass throughout my car. My daughter got slivers of glass in her hand from putting it on the door. There were pieces of glass on the seats and in the floor. There was even pieces of glass in the vents. I had to have the vents removed and cleaned because turning the fan on would cause bits of glass to blow in your face. There is glue or something on my windshield. You can kind of see a handprint. It's in a few different places on the windshield. Cleaning it doesn't matter. It won't come off. They were supposed to be at my house between 8 am to 5pm. Which is a long time to wait. The man showed up at like 6pm after waiting all day for him to come. I was very dissatisfied and would never recommend safelite to anyone. I had also scheduled the appointment and due to people calling out the appointment had to be rescheduled for 2 days later than it was originally set.

Safelite Autoglass exceeded my expectations with their service. I was nervous since I had never had an insurance claim on my vehicle glass before and was concerned that it would take a long time to get it fixed. However, my claim was handled very quickly and Safelite made the experience easier than I knew was possible! Not only did they send me an email letting me know when to expect their technician, they also gave me his name, etc. so I would know who to look for but he also called to confirm what time he would arrive. He was on time and got the job done quickly. Thank you Safelite and thank you David.. you did a wonderful job!

I thought Citibank, State Government or Verizon had the worst customer service, but Safelite wins the award. I make an appointment online and even prepay the deductible to have the Annapolis office do the mobile work. Day of the appointment and the links to the appointment info have disappeared. The appointment canceled with no notification. I spend 2 hours trying to navigate the horrific chatbot, text a rep and finally speak with someone on the phone and they have no record of it even though my credit card was charged. Even go to their Annapolis office and don't get an explanation. I reschedule with the Salisbury office for an AM appt. Almost noon and that office has the Glen Burnie office call me to say the tech called in sick. So you take off work and wait around and they can't call you until the end of the window to say they 'called out sick'. I don't believe that for a second. Terrible experience from the national franchise on down to multiple local branches. How is that hard when you do one thing? Order windshield, install windshield. Minimal customer contact needed, until it is, and it is not provided.
