The tech came over to fix the seal on my windshield and maybe replace it. He didn’t know what he was doing, I was watching him and he acted like he’d never done it before. He kept calling the office for direction of how to do it. He took the right and left pillars off and he had his tools inside my vehicle. He finally said he couldn’t do it, made up some excuses and left. He left his tools and laptop in my vehicle, so I called him and asked him if he wanted them back. I drove my car a little later and the right side pillar tore off my car. I stopped, looked at it and realized he didn’t reattach it correctly. I checked the other side and it wasn’t attached correctly and was about to break. I called the office and explained what happened, and the office manager said it must have been someone else’s fault that was working on my car. The car is pretty new and has only need 1 oil change. So I bought the part on eBay and I’ll fix it myself. Zero stars.

Terrible customer service. I posted pictures of what happened to my windshield, what they advertise, and what I got. Richard showed up very early and disrupted my meeting by calling multiple times, then when I scheduled a warranty appointment tried to cover his tracks by calling me at 7:30am and telling me the work he did was fine and then later said “it might’ve done something weird when [he] left”. Asked for someone else to check it, had to call at the end of the day and the lady on the phone hung up and they never showed. Called again to make the appointment, never showed. Finally called again to get someone else to come out and the man got out of his car, didn’t look at my window and said it was fine. I don’t know what’s worse; customer service or the quality of service. Will never be using this company and I will make it known to others around me the poor quality they do. Henderson Glass will forever be getting my service! They were able to fix the mistake one time and actually was able to communicate.NegativePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, ValueServicesAuto windshield repair

The service technician was kind and professional, service was done quickly and all of my questions were answered. Scheduling was unpleasant, the customer service rep seemed to have a tone with me over the phone, the rep asked questions that I didn’t know the answer to but they did and seemed frustrated when I didn’t know and needed more details to know for certain how to answer. The customer service rep also doesn’t seem very familiar with local areas, I was asked multiple times about my address and the rep seemed very concerned that I was giving an address that wasn’t real, they clarified with me at least three times in a row and even asked if it was in the state despite my address being around 20 minutes away from the location. The technician had no trouble with my address or install. I recommend the services but schedule online so as to avoid any weirdness over the phone if you can, I scheduled through an insurance claim so I had to experience weirdness over the phone.

Got a replacement windshield. One week later I noticed a large Crack at the very base of the windshield stretching half way across. Scheduled appointment and the new tech showed up, took literally one hour to "assess the cause of damage" comes back and points out some microscopic flex in the glass that you need a microscope to see. It's under the wiper. Says it's an impact point from a rock and clearly not from them installing it. Again, it's behind the wiper, not sure how anything could impact there. Now I'm gunna have to pay for a whole new windshield they cracked putting in. Gunna find a different glass shop, don't care if I have to pay them full price this is ridiculous. *updated reply* You don't seem sorry to scam people.ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentOverpriced

I was trying to schedule an appointment online. There are no appointments for a week. On top of that, the website says the premium option is $201.95. I schedule an appointment and get to checkout. Now my total is $356.46 even though I have a $50 coupon. Make that make sense. I attempted to contact Safelite. They have an option to schedule. Click that option. Can't schedule as it's all exclusively online. I attempted to speak to an agent. The menu repeats with different options, however it's the same options stated in a different way. So why offer an option to schedule if there is an option to do so.? Why have an option for a quote if there is actually no option to so so? How does this add up? I can't speak to someone about this discrepancy. A shame too. Idk if this is a glitch or what. It's adding another $150 dollars to the total. That means it's an issue with the website because its not adding up. Unfortunately, I cannot speak to anyone at this company to get this resolved so I will have to use someone else to replace my windshield. And because of this I will have to use someone else to replace the glass in my other vehicles as well. Sad but that's how they set up their company. 🤷🏾‍♂️ I wonder how much business they loose because of this. Well they lost 4 vehicles here and I will tell everyone I know as well.

I have a 2023 Bronco OBX with a lift. Safelite has replaced 2 of them already inside of my business where I have a large overhead door and wash bay. I now have another cracked windshield and set up another appointment with Safelite. The installer arrived, then informed me he would not replace the windshield. He stated the ditch lights were in the way.... (I forgot to remove them like I did the last couple times). I informed him I would have them off in less than 5 minutes. Sean looked at me, looked back at the vehicle and said "yeah, I won't do this, you need to bring it in". I asked why I had to bring this in when less than 3 months ago they replaced it easily. I told him I had this appointment made and this windshield has been replaces already why is this different. He didn't have an answer and simply said "I'm not going to do it" and left. Really???? I will NEVER use Safelite again.
