Overall really disappointed with the whole experience. First attempt to do glass service they refused because of a roof rack (Roof rack was never a problem since it didn't overhang the windshield, I've had windshield's replaced in the past without ever taking the roof rack off). After speaking with the manager (Josh) we agreed they would send 2 tech's out to do the work, come the day of, only one tech showed up... and refused to do the work because of the roof rack, again. I spent hours of my own time removing the roof rack so I could get the work done. I rescheduled and on the 3rd visit from the tech (Lionel), he never said hello or talked to me, moved the vehicle to a different location in the parking lot without talking to me. The windshield work was completed but the tech never said anything and was just trying to leave quickly, and now a parking pass is missing. Josh the manager didnt really care that items were missing now and just said to go somewhere else next time. Would never recommend working with Safelite in Zeeland

I used Safelite to service a small crack at the top of my windshield, nothing cosmetic was done, I just wanted to make sure the structural integrity of my windshield was fine. After a very brief appointment (didn’t take longer than 5 minutes) I thought I was all set and was satisfied with my service. Jump ahead a couple of months and that same crack expanded across my whole windshield. After being on hold for 20 minutes, I was told by staff that this was a failed repair and I now have to pay for them to replace my whole windshield. Essentially their initial service was a waste of time and no warranty covered this expanded crack. They then gave me an online quote to replace my windshield for $850. I decided I’d rather use a local repair shop to do the replacement rather than a huge corporation that fails easy repairs and charges extra for it. I am now using Action glass and got a quote for $580. Please do yourself a favor and avoid Safelite at all costs. EDIT: Safelite responded to my review below, I just wanted to reiterate a couple points: I knew my initial repair was not going to cosmetically change the crack in my car, but even their “structural integrity” repair did nothing to help, so I wasted time while they did a failed repair. They also mentioned how I could use my first appointments cost as a credit for my next repair, this would still make their repair a couple hundred dollars more than the local shop I used (Action Glass). PLEASE do not waste your time using their services and go to a shop that actually values their customers.

Honestly! This is probably the worst place anymore can take their vehicles to get things done. I am so sorry disappointed in how they handled my car. Schedule to have them come to my place for convenience, but nothing is close to be convenient about anything's I have ever dealt with. They came out, stayed over an hour and then told me I had to take it to the auto shop because cause they couldn't take parts of my car off, promise me once I am at the auto shop got the parts off, they will meet me there to put the glass on. Had the auto shop taken some parts off and find out Safelite will not come to the auto shop, I had to take my car to Safelite myself. Sat there for about 40 minutes they came out and said my car is ready, I said yay. But after I drove to the store, can't open the back of my car. Called them, they said they can't come for another two days. Two days later they told my husband I had to drop off my car at Safelite again and they will make it right with us. So I dropped off my car again from 8-4:30 which I didn't not anticipating. I had to took that day off, hoping they would work on it right away, since they messed up this car so bad, when I went to pick up my car, drive to the store opened my trunk of everything fell off inside the door 😱, this is the most ridiculous situation I've ever dealt with. Two weeks into having them come to my house to make my life convenience like how they advertise!!! Nothing is convenient about this horrible experience I ever had to go through. I still have lots of broken glasses in the back of my car still, I just feel like when my husband called the manager promised to do it right, also promise that he will put the glass in himself and after that he will come out to our place and put in the parts himself. None of it happened like he promised. Do not take your car to this place ever, unless you want to have a stroke/heart attack. They are so terrible at what they do. I wish my husband would listen to me before he scheduled them to come out. I was never impressed with Safelite, their advertising was so professional and convenient, it is for from it! I'm so disappointed ☹️😞 wasted so much time and energy during this.

I brought my car in for a standard windshield repair on a Friday of a holiday weekend. When I picked up the car, they had put the wrong part on, and it could not be fixed there (The technician didn’t explain it to me?). I called after the weekend, and they said they had to order another part - why they didn’t order it on Friday is beyond me. They said it would be at least seven days before the part can arrive. While I am waiting for this part, my car is drivable, but certain functions won’t work (lane keep assist and cruise control). I was supposed to take this car out of town this coming weekend, but that’s not going to happen. If you want a quality repair that’s done in one trip - don’t go to Safelite.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Safelite came to install a windshield on my car, but originally couldn't do it, due to issues underneath, needing to be fixed at a body shop. I then had to leave the car, covered with a tarp, in my driveway for a few days, until I could schedule my body shop apt. Once I could get into the body shop, Safelite scheduled the install, without me, at the same time the body work was done. This was fantastic. I didn't have to worry about a thing, could pick up my car in excellent running order when all was complete. All reps/installers were so nice & helpful. I wouldn't hesitate using their services again, when needed.ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentReasonable price

I am very pleased with the windshield replacement I had done here. The technicians were very friendly and organized. They got me in right away at my appointment time. This location is open Saturdays which was very convenient for me. I didn't have a ride, so I chose to wait while my car was worked on. The waiting room is clean and spacious. There's a beverage station, TV, clean restroom, and even a desk-type area set up for people. I also liked that I received text and email notifications throughout the whole process that kept me apprised of the timetable and when things were completed.
