Overall: Safelite's new shop is in a terrific location and easily accessible from most of the Triad-Greensboro area. Appearance: The Shop was clean and neat. Don't be confused by the signage or the lights; the lights don't turn on until 7:00 am, but the lobby opens shortly before. The signage indicates they open at 8:00 am, but first appointments begin at 7:00 am (online). Ammenities: Free wi-fi, coffee, and water bottles. All employees were smartly dressed, and the technicians were friendly. Time: My appointment window was 90-120 minutes, but I walked out in 61. Well done, Safelite! This is my third windshield and I would recommend them again.

Not entirely pleased with my experience today.. I came in with a cracked windshield and left with scratches on the steering wheel column and passenger side dashboard. Asked to see before/after photos but they couldn’t show me any to prove they were already there. I’m very particular about my car and detail oriented and I know those scratches were not there before drop off. We even ran our fingers across the fresh cuts and plastic residue came off with them. Plastic residue wouldn’t come off with an old scratch. There was a ton of black debris left all over dashboard, steering wheel and console along with zip ties and other small plastic pieces in the floor board. You would think clean up would be apart of the install. We worked out the situation over a set of wiper blades and they did take a rag to the dash board but overall I’m still disappointed with the damage especially for the price I paid out of pocket for the the windshield and recalibration. I did settle because I felt like we were going in circles on who caused the damage and we were getting nowhere. I do think he tried to make it “right” but this never should have been an issue in the first place.

I was traveling to a dog show when I heard something hit my windshield, but I never saw where it had it. So I didn’t contact my insurance company right away. My handicap placard was blocking the small hole but several days later, I noticed the windshield cracking all the way across. I called my insurance company the same day I received a phone call from Safelite setting up our appointment. They stayed in contact sent me several reminders emails And a text so that I did not forget my appointment and I knew what to expect when they got there. The technician called 45 minutes to an hour prior to when he was to arrive. He was on time, explain the procedure when he got there was extremely courteous and provided a quality service. I highly recommend this Safelite.

I have experienced multiple issues with Safelite. During the first installation, they installed the wrong windshield, which caused a leak. They were unwilling to make repairs until a week later. During the second installation, the repair associate assured me that everything was fine when he left and did not mention needing any additional parts. I even received a completion notice stating, “We have completed your service! Thank you for trusting Safelite® with your vehicle. We have completed the replacement for your 2024 JEEP GLADIATOR.” However, I later received a phone call from the Safelite office asking to reschedule, which confused me since the associate had just confirmed that everything was okay. As I started driving the Jeep, I noticed strange noises. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the seal had come off and was scraping against the side of the Jeep, leaving marks from the rubber. Additionally, the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle has become disconnected. Now, they need to remove the windshield again to correct their work, but their earliest availability is over a week away. I am concerned about the safety issue posed by the missing seal, particularly considering their claims of safety in their name. Given all these issues, I would suggest they reconsider their branding and place UN in front of SAFE

I am so upset with Safelite. What a poor way to show customer service. I brought my 2024 Camry to them for windshield replacement and shortly after leaving it with them they called and informed me that they would not complete the install of a keyless keypad on the drivers side windshield. They do not stock the double sided tape to complete this part of the install. I told them that I believed that this was part of their job and the manager still refused to do the work. I am paying them approximately $1400 and with that amount I would expect a complete job. I asked them why this lack of completed work was not explained to me prior to my leaving and he did not have an answer. So not only are they incompetent but they are too lazy to walk out to the customers car for a review and a conformation of the work to be completed. Now I have to go to a dealership to have the work completed.

I wish I could give less than one star. I paid $184 for a crack repair last Thursday for a tiny chip. The person doing the repair was nice and very quick, I was only there about 20 minutes max. Unfortunately, by Saturday the chip had spread. Reached out to Safelite today on Monday morning and it was sorry, not sorry. They would credit the amount I spent on the repair towards a new windshield. Well, I paid to repair the chip, so I didn't have to buy a new windshield. Complete waste of money and time. Seems like they do lackluster repair to force you into a new windshield. I will never use Safelite again and will recommend everyone I know to do the same.
