My Drone Adventure
I replaced my car's windshield at this location, and the part is an aftermarket windshield. The quality is significantly inferior to the original, and now the heads-up display is blurry. I took my car to Hyundai to verify the origin of the windshield, and they confirmed it is an aftermarket piece. Be cautious with this place; they will install an aftermarket spare on your vehicle and claim it's original. EDITING my review since Safelite response on 05/10/2025: Can you please help me to find out where in the contract you state that the part installed will be an aftermarket part? Can let me know page and the line you stated that in the contract? I was never made ware that the windshield would be an aftermarket piece, otherwise I wouldn't proceed with the "repair". As per my receipt state, the part number installed is FW05932 GTY.

When I got home I noticed the roof molding missing, I went back to Safelite and told them about it. After a minute on his computer he shows me a “Pre inspection” photo of the missing molding, Now it’s absolutely possible it could have been missing but I’m a pretty observant person and never noticed it before but noticed it as soon as I pulled in my driveway. I sat in the lobby the entire time you would think they would have pointed it out to me? According to Toyota that piece of molding has to be popped up in order to replace the windshield. So there’s a chance they popped it broke it took a picture and claimed it was already missing? Luckily it’s only $107. But my advice would be to go over your vehicle prior maybe a quick video.Like I said it could have been missing but feel like I should of had it pointed out to me instead of having me finding it later. Otherwise I have no issues with everything else.

Made an appt on line for July 5th , to have my windshield repaired. Showed up at the shop for my appt. They took my keys, came back 5 minutes later, "the windshield we have has a crack in it." I get it, Things happen, so I make another appt for July 17th between 8:30- 1:30 for Safelight to come to my home and do the repair. July 17, 7:45 am, I get a phone call , "Sorry, we need to reschedule, the windshield we have in the shop has a crack in" , I respond thats funny, thats what happened when i was in the shop , The guys says "oh it probably the same one" and yells on the phone to another person in the shop to "order 2 windshields" for my car. Again I reschedule the repair for the 3rd time , again at my home, for July 30 between 1:30-5:30 pm. On July 30th At 5:15 pm I get a text that says "your appt has been rescheduled for July 30th. Third time was not a charm. So I spent the entire month of July trying to get Safelight to repair my windshield. On July 30th at 1030 I cancelled the appt. It was so much easier to go to the dealership, which is what I should have done in the first place. No my dealership did not go through the insurance but it was much less trouble to submit to my insurance and get reimburse than the aggravation of 3 cancelled appointments.

Was so happy with everything from start to finish with my windshield service. Booking online was so easy and convenient. I thought I needed a repair, but the tech who came out (John) notified me it would need to be replaced due to the location and progression of the crack. He was so kind and professional and had my replacement appointment set up for me within minutes! Anthony came to do my replacement and was so kind and professional. He was under on his time estimates, had everything looking incredible when it was done and answered every one of my questions with care. This was my first time using Safelite. I was dreading the hassle of getting my windshield fixed and the whole process was so simple and the techs were incredibly nice and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you!

They came to do the repair on the windiest day (50 mph winds) this week. Changed the windshield no problem, and I let the car sit for the day. The following day on the test drive my wipers stopped working, I hear the motor but no movement. Called back and they sent the warranty guy out who told me that it’s due to normal wear and tear. It’s a 6 year old car that barely moves because I’m always in my company truck! The only service done one the car since the year was the windshield being changed and mysteriously the next day the wipers don’t work and it wasn’t the tech. So now I’m stuck eating the cost of a wiper transmission replacement because I need the car for an 18 hour road trip this weekend. i should’ve just left the damn crack alone. I wouldn’t use Safelight again if they were doing it for free.

Never had a worse experience with a car repair shop in my life. What started as a simple windshield replacement turned into an infuriating, time-wasting disaster. I originally booked a mobile repair — perfect, they’d come to me. Except two days before, I get a call saying they won’t come to me after all, and I have to bring my car into the shop instead. Annoying, but fine — I rearrange my schedule and push my appointment back two more days so I can get there. I drive 20 minutes to drop off my car. Two hours later? I get a call: “Oops, we cracked your new windshield. You’ll need to come get your car and come back next week.” Unbelievable. But I give them another chance. They reschedule me for the following week, saying the repair will be done “sometime throughout the day.” I show up at 9 a.m. as instructed… and a guy with the biggest, smug smile tells me I missed my appointment and have to come back another week later. Apparently, they quietly moved my appointment to 8 a.m. without telling me. This place doesn’t just mess up — they seem to take pleasure in dragging out your repair and wasting your time. Zero accountability. Zero care. Zero professionalism. Avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy chasing your own tail while they laugh in your face. Spend your money somewhere that values your time and business.
