My message to other customers is: avoid this place, plenty of other business can take care of you and treat you fairly for your auto glass needs. I used them a couple of times before, it was ok. Went there on Monday for repair of a small chip on windshield, they tried a repair but did not work. Went back on Tuesday, they tried re-repair. Unfortunately, this time, they not only not repair, but in the process crack the windshield. Due to this mishap, the windshield needs a complete replacement, which means hundreds of dollars out of my packet. Talked to the store manager about this. The message is, although failed repairs are rare, they happened. And it happened to me this time, and nothing they can do about it.

Had appointment for 9am, and quoted 90 minutes to replace back window of Subaru. Took 70 minutes (10:10am) just to get vehicle into service bay. Now 11:30 am and still unfinished. Why set appointments when not able to start at specified time ? Don't set time frames you cannot adhere to. Some of us have other pending obligations and schedules that rely on our promptness. We rely on correct time-frames, no allusions. Staff are courteous and professional, though overestimate their abilities.

SECOND TIME AROUND: Driving along and TING..... That awful sound we all know, a rock hit the windshield again. Only this time it left a crack so long it was not repairable and I had to have the windshield replaced. They did a good job in a timely manner, my eyesight feature still works perfectly and my cost was only my deductable FIRST VISIT: Glass repair after rock ding. Pros: 1) Staff is friendly. 2) Location is clean and tidy. 3) The repair was done very quickly. Cons: 1) I was only informed of the increased incidence/risk of windshield breakage on my make of car with this type of repair AFTER the repair was completed. The young man who did the repair and was ringing me up said that there was no issue with breakage like the other man had told me about. No. No the other man had not told me anything about it. 2) The cost. This is on me as I did not do more research before having the ding repaired. I have comprehensive coverage on my vehicle and had I fully understood this coverage I could have paid nothing out of pocket for this repair. CHECK YOUR INSURANCE! (I take the blame 100% but I do wish someone there had asked me about it, they get paid regardless and it would go a long way for customer service.) 3) The glass is rough over the repair. A prior repair on another car several years back was smooth and it was also done by Safelite. PER REQUEST:I went back today per the request left on my review. Although the young man was again very nice, there was no satisfaction made to my issue. I was told it was a sound repair and that this is sometimes how it turns out and that is why they tell the customer ahead of time about these things. He did then say that he knew I was not told this ahead of time. 2 months later the repair was almost unnoticeable. I guess time is a big factor with some repairs.ServicesAuto windshield repair

I highly suggest going to another glass shop. When I called to get an estimate on glass that needed to be repaired it was a nightmare experience. First, getting ahold of someone is not easy. You have to answer the questions perfectly to actually be connected to an agent whether you call the 800 number or the 479 number. Twice the AI help bot (automated) hung up on me because I didn’t answer the questions correctly according to the bot asking me the questions. Second, once I was connected the lady who was getting my information got my license plate wrong three times despite me reading each letter and using a corresponding word (A as in Alphabet, V as in Victor, etc). It wasn’t a big deal but I have to add this in the review. Third, after she received all of the proper information she told me she would email me the estimate. Great, I then asked when I should be expecting the e-mail and she responded with a “ugh” followed by a silence for about 45 seconds until I repeated the question. She said “due to high volume of customers you should expect it later today” Well guess what, the quote never came via e-mail. Checked my spam, trash, etc and she simply didn’t send it. With an attitude like that I wasn’t surprised I didn’t receive the e-mail. Fourth, Safelite was the most expensive out of the companies I called for an estimate. You’d expect top quality service for expecting a customer to overpay for glass. Avoid these people. Had I offered to pay on the spot she would have definitely taken my money but since I wanted a estimate e-mailed to me so I could have a record of what I was going to pay that apparently was too hard to do. Thanks for wasting my time, being extremely unprofessional and lying to my face. I’ve used Safelite in the past for repairs & there has to come and replace the glass because the seal was bad, the glass installed has a chip & the installer put my rear view mirror way off center. Should have learned my lesson the first time and definitely will never use or recommend this company to anyone.

why do you need to give your information just to get a quote? What happens when I would decide to go to a different place to get my windshield? Then now you have my information and I don't want you with it because how do I know you won't use it for your own purposes or the information gets in the wrong hands. I know you are a good company but I just wanted a quote The vehicle is not mine so I can't just give information. People have made it hard nowadays. It's like it takes a act of congress to get some information

This is Laura Applegate. I took our family car here for a small spider crack repair on 8/4/2025. I had a 9:30am appointment. I took my baby with me as I did not believe it would take over 30 minutes to address. From my experience at that appointment, they take about 3 times as long as they say to do something. The guy took my car into the bay at around 9:30, and then he went into his office and for the next hour it seemed like he was doing nothing but talking on the phone with people, and honestly from listening in it didn’t seem like work conversations, just him complaining about people with someone. Make sure you have a way to get elsewhere or don’t have anything time-sensitive scheduled after the appointment time. For instance, if your appointment is in the morning, expect to be there all morning, even if it’s for repairing/sealing a small crack. Also, there is road construction blocking the entrance on one side right now so expect to have to navigate around that. They were not slammed when I went in and they still took quite a while. Overall the repair looked fine in the end. I took it there because our insurance covered it, but based off the time involved I kinda wish I’d just gotten a kit and did it myself.
