If this review was based solely on the technician I encountered, it would be 5 stars Sadly however, the first person I met was the woman working the front desk. I don't think I've ever been spoken to in such a condescending manner in my life. I stopped by and since 1) I didn't have an appointment and 2) they were busy, I expected to be turned away and would be have been more than okay with that as I fully respect appointments take precedence. I had sustained a minor ding in my windshield due to a rock that kicked up and was hoping to get it evaluated and given some direction on how to proceed. I was appreciative a technician was able to take a quick look for me. The technician who looked at it was very helpful, friendly and offered advice with regard to the repair. His consult was only a couple minutes but it helped me gain peace of mind and form a plan as to how to proceed. Wish I got his name however I was so taken aback by the interaction with the front desk, I was focused on just wanting to leave. When I had initially walked in the woman at the desk looked at me either like I was there to rob the place or that she could not believe I had the audacity to patronize the business. I explained why I was there and asked if there was time for someone to provide an evaluation of my situation. Since I do not work in windshield repair or auto collision, I did not have the right terminology or scope as to how long repairs take. Or how the payment/insurance process works. She spoke to me like I was a complete moron when all I wanted was information and guidance. I felt she was working overtime to deter me from the business. If the tech hadn't come out to help me when he did, I was about to say don't worry about it and leave. I decided to stop here based on the positive reviews about the technicians. Again, the gentleman I spoke to was helpful and kind. I will not be using this business though for any future repairs as the front desk succeeded in deterring me.

It was such a great experience! From the moment we stepped in. Carmine took care of us. He was so professional, polite and did an amazing job on my car. Most importantly, he paid attention to detail. I'm one of those who is meticulous about how the inspection/registration stickers are placed and they were perfect. While we were waiting for our vehicle, another worker I believe his name was Billy was very professional, and knowledgeable. He was very busy but assisted each customer with patience and excellent customer service. Well done Carmine and Billy. Thank you for your assistance!

Traveled 1500 miles to take care of a broken window on my deceased Father's auto. Repeatedly had Middletown Safelite try to alter appointment times and parameters. Repeatedly had to reschedule for a specific date and time that was first agreed upon. Was called two days before the scheduled appointment because of an inclement weather concern. Customer service, rather than even suggesting alternatives for rescheduling (after I explained my scheduling issues) told me and I quote "since you won't take what I tell you to, you can just take your business elsewhere because I am canceling your appointment". Absolutely unbelievable. I wouldn't do business with them if they were the absolute only place on Earth left. Last laugh is on them because my insurance company has multiple contracts with Safelite and is less than thrilled with their customer service (or lack thereof) as well.

Highly impressed with my service this morning! The tech was awesome! My windshield seal broke and I had a water leak along with a cracked windshield! The tech was able to show me that the glue had disintegrated from my windshield and it had separated. The tech also put back all my electrical wiring from my remote start to my review mirror camera! The tech also installed my new windshield wipers that i brought with me! The women at the desk was top notch super respectful! I really appreciated my service!

Worst experience ever. Made an appointment..the wait till literally a minute before my scheduled appointment as I arrived at the establishment to call and tell me that they don't have my windshield and it would be four more days till they can reorder it. They charged the most for installation "379"...so you would think it would mean speedy service smh. Went to a neighboring window place in middletown ny and got the same service for 280 with fast service and prompt texts to inform me when they were ready. If you can find another window service do that and avoid safelite.

Extremely impressed with this facility. I put my claim in directly through the website, they took care of everything with my insurance. The staff was extremely friendly and hardworking when I arrived. My vehicle was done very quickly and it was honestly like magic. I returned to a brand new windshield and all stickers/ez pass etc returned to the exact spots they were before. I haven’t been this impressed with the professionalism of a facility in a long time.
