In January I needed to get my windshield replaced as it had a bad crack. Safelite did the replacement and failed to put the windshield cowl back in place properly. I would have never noticed the mistake until I got a new chip that needed to be filled. Thankfully the person I used to fill the chip alerted me of the issue and fixed safelites mistake. With how much they charge, I as a customer should have peace of mind that they put everything back correctly and did the proper job. Especially after they do a test drive to check for issues.

First appointment tech no called no showed. Second appointment went well but the tech never put screws in the console on the ceiling and left it hanging with screw rattling around as it bounced. Windshield looks good and seems good. Just disappointed in the customer service and the lack of finishing the job. For what was paid i expected everything to be put back together by them not me.

They advertise afterpay services. I needed that service. They blamed the platform when it's on thier page. I went through over a week trying to use the after pay. Safelite only blamed after pay and took no blame for then advertising it on thier page, they told me in customer service they were deciding whether or not to continue using them. None of this had anything to do with me. Nobody made it right. The after pay option was working for hundreds of stores except safelite. I was in email, text bots, customer service with cash app, after pay and safelite for 1 week with no resolution. To this day. No resolution or apology and as a single parent that option is why I chose safelite. My tech was great. No issues there.

My wife and I both drove out of our garage with the back hatch up so we had 2 opportunities to use safelite. (Not proud moments🤣) The second time, they were able to come to our house and we were so glad. I scheduled everything online which was a breeze. Our technician Corban was awesome from start to finish. He was professional, courteous, and friendly. Thank you for a great experience!

Updated review not only does the rearview mirror not work anymore as described below but my windsheild washer fluid no longer sprays i have included some pics of missing screws and broken tabs DON'T USE SAFELITE !!!! Replaced my front windshield on Mercedes E350 the next day I noticed the compass on the rearview mirror no longer worked and contacted them immediately. It had been working for 6 years previous to that day, They sent someone out who told me it was nothing they did. That I could bring it to the Mercedes dealer get it fixed and if they determined it was Safelite's fault they would reimburse me. Hmmm how does the dealer know it was Safelite's fault ? I will never see that money. I recommend you go with a company that takes responsibility for their actions. I had to show our technician how to replace the windshield wipers on my car and he is supposed to know how to take the windshield out and replace with no issues.

Happy I went with safelite. Robert was a great tech. He worked quick and at the same time was able to hold an intellectual conversation which made the process seem to go by even faster. He was very knowledgeable and experienced with the job/work. Time had went by so quick from conversation, it was as if I knew the guy for years. Before i knew it, he was done with the installation. Robert is definitely a 10/10 tech!!
