Had alittle issue with the glass that was delivered, was scratched upon delivery so I had worked it out with this facility to see if they could transfer my appointment to the Columbia location because my windshield had a hole in it and the rain was not letting up. So I left the location and britney called me back and said they had another windshield for another order they could use for my truck so I turned around and within an hour they were done.

Everything went over very well. The installation guy called me earlier that morning to confirm the appointment. He let me know that he had one ahead of me and I would be notified when he was on his way. I received the notification, as promised, which allowed me to meet him there to give him the key. We literally turned into the yard right behind one another. He was very nice and very mannerable. We really loved the fact that we could have the Safelite repairmen replace our windshield at our home, instead of having to wait at a shop, which would have been really difficult with a 9 month old! The men were quick and courteous and let us know exactly what we needed to do after the windshield replacement to make sure everything stayed in place. If ever I have another problem with my windshield, I would definitely use Safelite again!

William was our technician and he went above and beyond. We had a broken piece of trim (unknown to me) that happened during the last windshield replacement, but it wasn’t super noticeable. I just asked if he could put it back on more securely. He told me it was broke and if I bought the piece they would put it on for free at the shop when it comes it. I would recommend, he did a great job.

Unfortunately I did not have a very good experience with Safelite AutoGlass. They where to replace my windshield between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm. The repair technician comes at 11:30 am, and said that it may rain and did not want to work on the car in my driveway. He told me to bring the car in the shop and he would replace it there. He gave me directions that where not very good. I tried calling the shop phone and no one picked up to give me directions. Bottom line, the work was done correctly, as far as I can tell, but the service was poor, being that I was inconvenienced. I pretty much had to waste most of my day waiting for them to come out only to have to go in the shop anyway. It was nothing like you see on their TV commercial.

The actual service was great. No problems with my windshield or the installation. Wait time was not excessive and they have water for customers. The part that made my wait uncomfortable was the smell of cigarette smoke in the waiting room. I had to cover my mouth and nose at one point because i think someone may actually have been smoking while i was in there - the smell got really strong and it was horrible. I would have gone outside but it was too cold. Other than that, no issues.
