Some years ago, I had a less than satisfactory experience with Safelite replacing my windshield in my Subaru, which led me to ultimately get the replacement done correctly somewhere else. However, my most recent rock chip-turned-massive crack required pretty urgent attention, and my insurance worked with Safelite as a preferred and guaranteed vendor. I was skeptical but thought I would give the benefit of the doubt. The Taylorsville location could not have been more helpful, getting me scheduled much sooner than the Tesla service center and being able to take care of it in a few hours. They communicated clearly with me and delicately handled the challenging electronics, ensuring calibration before I left the location. While windshield repairs are never fun, I would gladly return to this location again. Thanks guys!

These guys did an awesome job, preparing my windshield, i had two small cracks that I knew about, and they found a third and repaired the third one as well, if I didn't know where they were, I wouldn't know they were ever there. They did an excellent job, repairing with the cracks. They work very closely with my insurance, which was fabulous. I am changing insurances, though, so hopefully they will be able to work as closely with our new insurance as they did with my old one, fair warning to everybody: If you have to have your whole windshield replaced. Check with safe flight for their out-of-pocket costs. My insurance was going to charge me $1000 If my windshield needed to be replaced, safelite out of pocket would have cost me less than $500.

Worst experience ever!!! And dangerous!!! They don’t deserve 1 star. The tech sliced through my aftermarket stereo gps, removed all the trim and glue from my trucks windshield and said they couldn’t replace it because of the extreme rust (see pictures attached) extreme exaggeration!!! They allowed me to drive off knowing my windshield could have fallen out at any time, and lied saying they only removed the upper trim which they could not reattach. But ALL the trim and glue was REMOVED! I picked up my truck and drove it, not knowing how extremely dangerous the condition was with the windshield not being secured. I could feel wind coming through it and it was so loud. They lost the cover for my windshield wiper, lost a bolt on the cowling “they said they did not remove”, broke the bottom of the windshield when they removed the glue they said they did not remove. Now the branch is avoiding my calls. This company is completely negligent and could have caused me serious injuries or bodily harm. Luckily South Valley Auto Glass was able to replace my windshield and allowed me to watch as they did, I wanted to see what damage was underneath. It was minimal surface rust that was about 4” long and quickly removed by with a wire wheel and covered with primer. Absolutely ridiculous that Safelite, lied about my truck then allowed me to drive off knowing what they had done. Attached are the pictures of the rust that made it impossible for them to replace the windshield. Even though they mostly removed it, sliced through aftermarket gps cable when the tech didn’t bother to move it when they ran the razor underneath to remove the glue. They said they didn’t remove!

The worst experience I had with this company. Long story short, I received a text message that my appointment was for 4/3 at 1. Upon arriving to drop off my car, I was told my appointment was set for 4/4 at 1. Cody, supposedly the store manager, didn’t show any kind of empathy that I received a text for today and he just sat there like he didn’t care. We need Cody to be trained on how to handle a frustrating customer, especially if I received a text saying my appointment was for 4/3 at 1.

My experience at this Safelite location was so smooth. The online appointment and insurance adding was so easy - almost effortless. Because of my insurance, this chip-fill service was free to me and I never had to peraonally contact my insurance provider! They had appointments available within days! My service technician, Mark, was thorough, attentive, and kind. He asked me what chips I saw, took care to ensure all of them were filled, and he even took my car back into the garage to fill one that I found after he showed me the work that he had already finished! I brought a toddler with me to the appointment and I never felt looked down upon by any customer or worker there for my child being a child (walking around, eating snacks, reading together, looking at bugs). I had 4 windshield chips filled, and 2 I literally cannot even see or tell they were ever there (I know it's normal to see them after, so I am so impressed!). This may have been the easiest, smoothest, most comfotable auto appointment I have ever had!

I had such a great experience with Safelite! From the moment I called to schedule my appointment, the staff was incredibly helpful and professional. They walked me through the process and answered all of my questions with patience and kindness. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and they got started on my car right away. The whole service was super fast, way quicker than I expected, and they made sure everything was perfect before I left. What really stood out to me was how genuinely nice everyone was—from the front desk to the technician. It’s rare to find that level of customer service these days. They even cleaned up the glass and made sure everything was safe and spotless. I left feeling well taken care of and stress-free. I highly recommend Safelite to anyone who needs glass repair or replacement—they go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with their service!
