Easily one of the best automotive experiences I've had. I have a Ford Bronco that I've had less than a year and because I commute down to MA twice a week this is the second time I've had to get a crack fixed in my windshield. I've brought it here both times, the team is friendly, personable, knowledgeable and does everything they can to repair the windshield. Within minutes they called me to come take a look at the repair and I could barely tell there had even been a ding there. I highly recommend them and will be using them for any windshield help I need in the future.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

The nuts-and-bolts: Subaru Outback windshield replaced on 24 Feb 2024. Called about a week before to make an appointment for a Saturday morning. Got instructions on the key dropoff and such for Friday night, and they said the car would be ready by the end of the day Saturday. They were even better than that, with Daniel calling me at 9am to let me know the car was ready. They did it right. EZ-pass was back on the glass in exactly the same spot (minor detail, yes, but an attention to detail), seal is nice and smooth all of the way around, no dings, scratches, fingerprints, etc, on paint or interior surfaces. Done just as nice as OEM. Shop was heated nice and warm, which helps with adhesive cure times this time of year. This is a working shop, not a dealership, so don't expect comfy chairs and coffee waiting for you. Nicely done.

The people at Safelite in Portsmouth, NH were fantastic. Upon my arrival, the gentleman that greeted me was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He answered all my questions and concerns in a non hurried professional way. I felt confident that they would do a great job, just based on that interaction. All the paperwork needed was there and already printed. I handed over my keys and received phone calls and text messages as the windshield replacement took place. The car was ready when promised and the programming of the cameras and sensors was done correctly wipers and cruise control are working great. The only complaint I have is about the parking lot and the front door. The office is in the front of the building and the cars are in the back of the building. So at some point you may have to walk on grass or go through the shop, which both could be dangerous. Pickup was quick and easy. I showed up and they gave me my keys and off I went. I wish everything in life were this easy. Bravo.

The crew was polite and efficient. The shop did damage my initial window replacement but had noticed the damage in a timely manner and was able to reschedule and they were very apologetic regarding the situation. I was initially quoted a 2-3 hour repair window, and the crew was able to remove and replace (even clean out a bunch of glitter from my dashboard after I dropped my kid's art project) in an hour. The waiting area was very clean and stocked with plenty of coffee. The only reason for not getting a full 5 stars is due to a billing mishap, which pulled another customer's credit card information onto my repair job. While they caught the mistake before the transaction processed, it could have caused big headaches for the other cardholder and myself.

Twice I took my car to them and both times they messed up. The first time there the black clips that clip into both bottom corners of the windshield. They come with the windshield to hold it in place. The bottom left one was broken and flapping hitting the windshield on the highway making a vibrating noise. I took it to dealership they asked if I replaced my windshield recently. And told me the issue. I took back to safelite and they said there was nothing they did. Than a year later they replaced it again. And they never put back my inspection sticker and messed up the calibration and never gave me a receipt. They were rude … disrespectful, arrogant jerks in portsmouth NH Never ever go there. When I came back the next day to get the calibration fixed since my warning lights for the road are set to the windshield. They told me I needed to make an appointment. It was a Saturday and I explained that I wasn’t taking another day off of work for them to fix the car since I took a half day Friday to have them do it. They are the ones that messed up not me. They still refused to do it without an appointment. I guess I will take my car to the dealer to fix the calibration. If Amica keeps Safelite as a contractor to fix broken windshields I may need to switch insurance companies.

The whole experience with Safelite was convenient and smooth! I started by doing a quote online. Only took 5 minutes. I filled in my info and found out my insurance covered the job 100%. Within 2 days, I had a new windshield. I was able to stay right at my desk at work and received text updates when my tech was on his way, started the job and job was complete. My tech left some info on my seat and I didn’t even have to speak to anyone! I was able to drive away on my lunch break. Mike did a great job! I highly recommend Safelite.
