I Hardly ever leave reviews but I felt this was needed. I scheduled an appointment with Safelite for Wednesday, December 18, 2024 between 8 and 12. On Wednesday, the Tech text me said he would actually be closer to 1:30. I said ok and waited. The tech showed up around 1:30 and began to prep for changing my windshield. About five minutes later he tells me he still has the keys to the previous customers car an hour away and needed to leave. He said he would reschedule me for his first appointment on Thursday and would throw in some new wipers for my trouble. I said that would be fine. On Thursday about 10 am I texted the tech and asked if he was still coming. No answer to my text. I called and there was no answer. At about 2 pm on Thursday, I called the Safelite number and was told the tech had an emergency and was actually in the hospital. Understandable. I was surprised that nobody from the office had called to tell me he wouldn’t be coming. I asked could I bring my car to the Hattiesburg Safelite and just get it done there. I was told that the previous tech still had my windshield in his van at his home and someone would be coming out the next day (Friday) between 8-12. I expressed my frustration that I really needed this done before the weekend as we would need the vehicle to travel for Christmas. It is now Friday at 6 pm and nobody has shown up. I have called Safelite three times and spoke to three different customer service reps who seemed to have no idea about my previous conversations. Each one said the tech would call me soon but nobody ever did. I requested to speak to the Hattiesburg store manager, Isaiah, the last time I called. I was put on hold then told that he could not be reached but the rep had left my number on his voicemail and also sent an email. He has not returned my call. I knew it being a Friday and close to the holiday that folks would be pushing to get home and begin their weekends. As of right now, I still have no new windshield and nobody has called to reschedule my appointment. Whether he shows up on Saturday I guess we shall see, but I don’t hold out hope. I’ve used Safelite many times but this has been the most ridiculous experience I’ve ever had. I will use another company for my next auto glass needs. If I had not already paid Safelite I would be using someone else this time. So much for getting this fixed before Christmas.

I came to this location today because, unfortunately, a different location installed my windshield incorrectly. I'm sure it was a harmless mistake, but there was air leaking through my windshield and miscommunications from their office about getting it fixed. The Hattiesburg team was so kind and welcoming. I can't remember the manager's name, but he immediately greeted me and talked me through everything professionally. I think Matt was the one who completed the service itself; Matt was very nice and his work was great. So far, I haven't had any noise from my windshield and it's made a world of difference with all the driving I do. There was a lady at the front desk that I didn't get to talk to, but she was so kind and sweet to everyone who came in and called; it made the time fly by and I felt more than comfortable hanging out until my windshield was fixed. This was fantastic customer service all around. Thank you guys!

Very clean and professional services. Matt was very careful and accurate with the windshield replacement, and also gave us guidance for future services and local establishments for other needs. Overall an amazing service and it was done right on the spot with little notice. I will be recommending their services to anyone who needs them.

Horrible work and worse attitude. Chips repaired in my windshield and it still looks the same. Staff is very rude. They go through your paperwork in your car. Not a good place to go. The technician took my car to the back to inspect it and, without consulting with me on the repair or the results, they started fixing the windshield. I would not have been OK with this kind of job. I wanted them to let me know what they can do with the windshield. That money could’ve gone toward a new windshield. They forcefully grabbed the job without consultation and they were very rude about it and they went through my paperwork. I don’t appreciate how they act over there and that moron that sits at the desk was trying to play defense, Lawyer For the company that broke the windshield. That’s not his job. I have been trying to contact the owner and I have been trying to contact corporate, but they have an automated brick wall. My next recourse of action is suspend the $80 downtown to file a small claim and get you guys to send some lawyers over there to answer it.

One star is too generous. I prepaid nearly $300 for Safelite to come to my home and replace the windshield in my truck. The appointment was scheduled for Saturday between 12:00 and 5:00 PM. Saturday morning, I received a call saying the windshield arrived damaged and they needed to reschedule. Frustrating, but I understood, things happen. A new appointment was made for that following Monday, again between 12:00 and 5:00 PM at my home. But on Sunday evening, I saw an email saying I was scheduled to bring my truck to their Hattiesburg location between 7:30 and 9:30 AM. That’s a 40-minute drive from where I live, and I had no windshield! I called customer service multiple times Monday morning, and after being bounced around, someone from the shop finally called me back just to tell me I didn’t even have an appointment, they claimed I was only scheduled to be “notified” if my glass came in. So why send an email telling me to drive to the shop? I had already been without my truck for nearly two weeks trying to save up the money for this repair, and they completely wasted my time. Poor communication, no accountability, and terrible customer service. Never again. This was my first and last experience with Safelite.

I prepaid and scheduled a windshield service appointment with Safelite for July 8th with a confirmed 8 AM–12 PM window at my place of business. No one showed up. There was no communication from the store or tech, no call, no text, nothing. I was told most of his calls were in Lucedale. Sounds like a scheduling/dispatching issue. Not a good enough excuse for a guaranteed reservation. After rearranging my entire morning and hearing nothing back, I had to leave work early, lose hours, and drive to their location just to get the service done—something that was supposed to be handled on-site. Despite all this, there was no apology, no explanation, and no offer of any kind of courtesy for the trouble, no possible “upgrade” on rain shield—nothing. Even customer care couldn’t get in touch with them. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Safelite failed on every level of customer service. I won’t be using or recommending them again. If I could give zero stars I would.
