The windshield replacement repair was good. A couple of critic's. Customer should be made aware of “Aftermarket” glass, and should give some instructions on what to do after the replacement. The tape on windshields should be taken off before delivery (I know it’s used to hold the class in alignment, but the urethane should have already been set), and give washing vehicle instructions (how long before going through a car wash?). Great looking office and the people were very friendly. I have recommended Safelite forever!!

If I could put a zero rating, I would. Safelite showed tail-end of our appointment window, and attitude - from the first words out of the mouth of the guy on the phone: 'yeah, so... I'm at the address. Is there like an apartment number or something... ??' I tell him my car is out front, and I'll be right out to meet him. First words on interaction were to tell me my deductible hasn't been confirmed - did I do X,Y,Z? I asked him - can we like, start over, and just talk to each other with respect, like humans? He said yeah, barely looking up from his little iPad. Then he calls the office. More nonsense. I tell him, you know what, just forget it. He hangs up with them, confirms I'm cancelling - and walked away. Entire Saturday wasted. Windshield is still broken. Never knew they needed more info.

I had an appointment 6/27 to get my windshield fixed. Technician showed up with cracked/scratched glass, so I rescheduled my appointment. Safelite called me a few days later and told me they were out of my glass but would reschedule me as soon as it was received. When my new appointment was scheduled I noticed my quote was more than double my first - $432 to $1000. I called to figure out why this was, the shop informed me they had to order it directly from the dealer “OEM” and unfortunately was nothing they could do about the charge. I was not told at the rescheduling phone call about this, and I find it really hard to believe that somehow the broken glass that was brought to my appointment was the last one they had in stock. Beyond frustrating and disappointing, I don’t feel comfortable paying that much more for something that could have easily been avoided. Or, if I was informed at the phone call that “waiting for the part” actually meant ordering a more expensive one.

Was monitoring my vehicle app while awaiting my vehicle completion (tech was driving to complete camera calibration). I notice that the speed would fluctuate from 0 MPH to 75+ MPH. My vehicle lets me know what road it is on and when I looked it up on the maps the street view showed a 45 MPH speed limit on the road the tech was on. This acceleration happened multiple times during the calibration until the tech was in a more populated area. Additionally, the air conditioner was blasting with the windows open further consuming excess battery. Upon getting in my vehicle I noticed some messages under my battery consumption that stated the previous trip had "aggressive acceleration" and stating that keeping speed under 70 MPH would have saved slightly more battery power. The consumption graph showed peaks of 600+ Wh/mi. (photos attached). It is disheartening to know that personnel are willing to abuse customer vehicles in this manner, especially since most individuals would have no idea. The only positive is that the windshield turned out good so far and the interior was kept clean. As of 12/10/2023 there has been no attempt at contact. Will never bring my vehicle to this place again and will recommend against it. Changed to 1-star due to negligent management’s inability to reach out and keep staff accountable for mistreating customer vehicles.NegativeProfessionalism

They send a million confirmation texts and emails & then when I get there, they tell me they don’t have the part and have no other options for me except to rebook a different day. It’s so wild to me that there’s all these confirmations for the appointment but they can’t be bothered to confirm what vehicle I have or that they’ll actually have the right part. & Calling ahead of time to find out if it’ll be covered under my warranty was an even bigger nightmare. Extremely frustrating experience all around.

Nice clean shop. No riff-raffs and trash littering the place. The reception is nice and clean. The check-in process is swift and no hassle. I waited around 45 minutes. While waiting, I enjoyed a K-cup dark roast coffee. The coffee station looks great and clean. Sugar/sweetener are all neatly organized. So refarding the work, it's what I expected. They minimized the crack, but there is still a speck leftover and noticeable, depending on the angle of the sun reflecting on it. I only had one crack, but when it was done, I got three more hairline cracks from the center. I hope it does not turn into a bigger one. It kind of looks like what you do to your desktop when you try to cut paper with an xacto hobby knife. Anyway, I'd rather save up the money for full windshield replacement. 5 now, it works for me as it minimized the original crack. Overall, the staff are nice and professional during my visit.
