Same Day Windshields

I am so glad I found this company after Safelite didn’t show up three times for their scheduled appointments causing me to miss three days of work. I had no idea that Safelite has a monopoly with the insurance companies so people try to support your local businesses, Joey, the gentleman and his partner that installed my windshield we’re here promptly. They installed my windshield for my 2014 100 year edition Dodge Challenger with pride and thoughtfulness. And the woman In The office who I spoke with is a fearless woman I hope she owns this business. If not, they should be so lucky to have her as an employee not to mention Joey and the person helping him. I will always recommend this company. They are outstanding and one thing you can never get back. People is time Safelite stole 22 hours of my time. These people took care of me the very next day and they were on time and kept me notified look no further and do yourself a big favor and don’t use Safelite. The person who performed the service was friendly and professional. My only complaint is being given a 5 hour window 9am-2pm and when I called at 9:40 asking for an update on arrival time being told they can't even call dispatch until noon. The person I spoke with was very nice even though I was grumpy. But the person I spoke with did attempt to reach the technician. Still 5 stars and I do recommend them, my only advice is if you make a morning appointment make sure you have nothing planned for the 5 hour window you are given. Update 5/24/25. My insurance company was billed $1400 for a windshield?? I didn't ask for an estimate because I never dreamed the charge would be that high. Lesson learned, if you go with this company, be sure to get an estimate. I took my 5 stars to 3 and that's only because of the customer service I received that day.

This was an amazing experience and they were a team that to me knew what they were doing and got it done in a timely manner and were very professional. I was a Maintenance Coordinator for the City of Palm Bay and if they worked for me I would have been very proud of them and completely satisfied with their work.

This company is awesome. I originally was using Safelite. Safelite has no one that answers their phone everything is done online. I made an appointment. It took two weeks when I got to Safelite( 30 min drive each way) dropped off my car. 2 hours later they call to tell me they don’t have the glass come pick up the car. They told me they would call me when they got the glass in a few weeks . I was so frustrated I went straight home, decided to try same day windshield.They had a technician at my house the next day everything was covered by the insurance, he arrived on schedule. It was very professional. I will definitely recommend them and use them from now on. Safelite couldn’t come to my house they said because of the type of car I have same day windshield did everything right in my driveway.

Well same day windshields was week later windshields. To his credit the guy did text me. When he came the new windshield was cracked and then the next day his truck broke down. Finally the following week he came. The job was done quickly and he did a good job but it took him a minute to get there.

Overview: A decent experience but with some immense room for improvement. Leaving a long review so customers understand what to expect in a similar situation. Pros - Availability better than some competitors - Pricing better than some competitors - Techs are licensed and seem experienced Cons - Getting service same-day is highly tentative - Works with subcontractors, is a “middleman” - You’re getting similar glass, not exact match - Time window/ ETA is way too wide Long version: So despite the name of the company the service was definitely next day. I had an accident on the highway where my driver window spontaneously popped and split into multiple cracks… this was around 4:30 PM… and so I contacted them between 5:00-5:30 PM and was able to set up an appointment but only next day between the astronomical time window of 9AM - 2PM. Those sound like store hours more than any reasonable expected time of arrival. So ironically, I had to leave my car sitting in a strange parking lot overnight specifically because I could not get service “same day”. But they were still faster than their competition which was quoting two days later, and that’s why I’m bumping up what would otherwise be a 3-star review. Once the day arrived, because I was worried about leaving my car unattended I literally waited in my car from 9AM while several hours went by without even a call. People were passing by thinking I lived in the car because i was there so long. I had to reach out to get an update and everyone was sticking to the 5-hour window until finally someone took initiative and contacted the technician directly to get an estimate of an additional hour. My technician didn’t show up until 1:10-ish, which I don’t hold against him because as it turns out he wasn’t a “Same Day” employee but like a subcontractor working for another company entirely. So there’s no telling what the breakdown in communication could have been between Same Day and his company but a one to two hour window instead of a five hour window would have given me room to consider leaving and coming back. I was also expecting the glass for my car specifically since I provided make model and VIN, but it was a piece of glass that simply FITS my vehicle, so it doesn’t match my other three windows perfectly and the stickers/ markings clearly indicate it’s different. I’ll need to take it to a dealership or authorized repair center if I want to get the exact OEM window for my make and model. I’ll also need to tint my window again but I’m not counting this against the company or factoring that into my review. It would just be a great experience to have a referral program so that we can get special pricing on tint/ body work, especially considering I’m only down one window and need one window tinted not two fronts or a whole vehicle as most places price their packages. My technician Kevin did a great job. He was easy to communicate with and manually removed all the glass from my door. No rattling or shakeout. Took him less than an hour to complete even with the extra effort. His service was definitely 5-stars and I hope whatever company he works for appreciates his contributions.
