San Antonio Auto Glass

After getting several quotes to replace the windshield in my car I decided to have it replaced by San Antonio Auto Glass. Due to the weather at the time I took my car to their shop. Liz told me it would take about an hour and a half. They have a comfortable waiting room and while waiting Liz answered my questions about the history of their business and explained the different issue associated with getting the correct glass. It was a very pleasant experience and they did an excellent job of replacing my windshield. The only negative experience was that they forgot to reinstall 2 pieces of trim under the hood but when I called to report this, Liz immediately agreed to send someone to my house the next day to reinstall the trim pieces. My windshield was completely shattered on the passenger side, San Antonio Auto Glass was not my my first choice when I originally scheduled an appointment with Maldonado Auto Glass, However MAG did not show up at the set time for my appointment therefore i had to now find a different shop. San Antonio Auto Glass was one of the first suggestions on google besides Safelite. I decided on San Antonio mainly because I prefer to support local businesses rather than corporate companies. Their tech came to my workplace and diligently worked on my truck, before i knew it he was cleaning up, packing his tools and handing me the bill (which was very very fairly priced). 6/5 stars! will definitely be recommending these guys to friends and family as well as using them in the future in the case i need a different window repair!

I bought a car from BlueBonnet Dodger in New Braunfels 2 weeks ago and they schedule to have my whole windshield replaced. I drove 1 hour and 15 to have my windshield replace. Which one of your staff members came to replace and left. When I drove off I happend to stop at the store when I saw that they had not replace the rubber seal that would seal the glass at the bottom. That is not how my windshield was and that is not how I except the service in return. I quickly went back to the dealer and showed them the poor workmanship done on my car. 2 of your service members called me back and told me that was the way they it should be and that the window was clearly seal. I told them that I could see all the way to the bottom where the glass would sit. The rubber was very loose. I could literally put all of my index finger in there due to the gap. The last person I spoke with there at your office stated that he had been doing this for 20+ years. He then told me that if I wanted that seal then I should get with the dealer. That is really sorry that you all ponder your poor workmanship back to the dealer. When it was not the dealer fault. I am grateful for the great leadership at Blue Bonnet dodge and did what you all should have done in the first place. My windshield was seal before you all touched it. Too many issues with this company. Company claimed they call me on a Thursday and left a voice mail message to install glass on Friday yet I had no missed calls and no voice message. Scheduled installation for Monday the following week and on that day, no call and no show by the installer. I reached out to company and was told they had not received the glass despite them telling me they had received it on Thursday of the prior week. Rescheduled appointment for first job on Tuesday between 9:30am and 1pm. I did have a missed called and called installer back at 9:38am. He said he had gone to other job and is supposed to come later today. Had I not paid 1/2 the glass payment up front, I would have canceled and gone with another company. Never again! Don't use this company.

Our family traveled to SA from Dallas in June and an 18wheeler pick up a rock and shattered our passenger window. Toyota either didn’t have the window, not able to fit us in their schedule, or price was ridiculous. They told us to tape it and park it at the hotel, which was the last thing we were trying to do on a 3 day vacation. Thank God for SA Autoglass. Their location was a little distant from ours but we taped our window drove slow and made it there fine. Same day service was great ALL the way around. Price was easily the best around. The technician was about 30 minutes late, which wouldn't be that bad except that they give you a 5 hour window, so that was a little annoying. He worked very quickly and had the job done in about half the time I expected (30ish minutes to replace a side window), vaccuumed all the glass and cleaned up after himself. After he was done and I was paying, he tells me that my window regulator is broken so I shouldn't open or close it until that's fixed... I've never had any issues with the window before, so that worried me, but he made it sound very minor and left before I could test it. When I did, the window would go down fine, but would only close about halfway and way to the side unless I guided it up with my hand. There's no way this was a preexisting issue. Supposedly the work is warrantied, so I'm in the process of seeing if they'll take care of it, but I'll have to drive all the way across town if they agree to fix it. I was going to get my windshield replaced as well, but now... I'm not sure the lower price is worth it. UPDATE: So far the manager hasn't returned any of my calls.
