Drop my car off and the changed the windshield really quick. When I received the car back they didn’t remove glass as promised. There was very noticeable size pieces still in car. Also they had black mark all over the inside of car which is light gray so it showed really bad. Went and got my car detailed to get glass out and clean up their mess only to find out my sunroof would not properly open because of them not properly putting in windshield. I was told to bring my car back so they can fix no problem. When I brought my car back they were not there and I was told to bring back again. Went for a second time and the guy said he was 2 busy and could I drop off another day, came back a 3rd time only to have to be told a 4th time to either drop off or bring back because he person was not there. I get back my car finally with sunroof opening now it’s making a noise. An the detail I paid a lot of money for is out the roof. I know it’s a shop but they should use gloves or something to prevent get vehicles dirty I take pride in my car. I give them a 2 because the windshield is not leaking and sunroof is working properly now. But I will stick to safelite or another company in the future.

This is a cash only shop -- No cards accepted. Full payment is required upfront in cash before any inspection or work is to be done on the vehicle. Alternative options are available and include Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle, but no QR code OR business profile was presented to me to send the payment. Apple Pay was also an option, but they may have confused it with Apple Cash where you send money via text. It is my understanding that full payment must be sent to a person via phone number listed on the window at the front desk using one of these P2P payment methods. It was not clear to me if I was actually paying the business for a service or just some random person on Venmo. In addition, I was not sure what the receipt situation would have looked like or if I would have gotten one at all -- this was not explained to me at the time. I did not feel comfortable pre-paying via Venmo to an unknown person or running to an ATM in a not so good part of town to withdraw $270+ for a front passenger window replacement -- it is my opinion that the employees here did not care to understand my confusion. The experience could have been significantly better if interactions with employees were more clear, professional, and respectful. I ended up hiring another business, a mobile installer, that drove all the way out to where I live to replace the car window for $204. And I paid with a credit card and received an electronic receipt after they completed the work and I was able to inspect it -- simple.

If you have a newer vehicle it's probably better to search for a more reputable and knowledgeable company to replace your window. I came to 7-star for a cracked windshield and somehow during the repair the technician sliced through my side panel. The manager informed me and stated that as an honorable business they would replace the panel. It was stated that it would take about a week for the part to come in. I waited about 10 days and reached after not hearing back. I was informed the part was on backorder. 2 weeks later I reached out via text and the response was that they had not forgotten about me and would be reaching out soon. That was about a month ago. I have also noticed that the cover over the review mirror is also loose as it was not properly reapplied. Sadly, 7-star was only about $60 cheaper than Safelight, the only difference is 7-star allowed walk-ins. I am in the process of setting an appointment to have the panel replaced myself, and I plan to take 7-star to small claims court. Especially since the company continues to lie and string me along.

Called for door window replacement he told me to come in Sunday I get there he doesn’t have glass and tells to me come Monday that it’ll take like 40 minutes ..ultimately I get there Monday he didn’t have glass has for order and then I had to wait 2 hours for service and while doing so he informed me my window regulator was bad ..went and grabbed a jump box to jump start my car told me it would be $75 for regulator but told my husband it would be $285 after I told him I worked in automotive for ten years and it’s no way my regulator is bad he then said ooh I’m in luck it’s working just fine ..I get home and gathering my stuff out my car it’s a bolt in my driver seat which has to be from my door so it’s a bolt missing in my door he didn’t clean glass out so when I raise and lower my window you hear the broken glass ..

DO NOT GO HERE if you are desperate and in a tight situation, I went here while I was struggling like many of us are, I explained my situation that I only had 100 dollars to spare. They quoted me 300 sosomething. I told them I would have to wait to do the service until I could come up with the other 200. They offered to do a payment plan for me and did not explain any conditions or anything related to the policies of their payment plans. When I went in they made me pay the deposit first without communicating that the car would need to be there till the following week. I asked them what options there were as I was currently living out of my car and had no where to go. They put a sheet wrap on the car and told me to come back Monday. Unfortunately due to circumstances I was unable to return that Monday due to finances and gas. Given I just spent my last 100 dollars on their deposit. I made the executive decision to call and ask for a refund to use for gas money and food. I should have never agreed to put a deposit down on their service and I should have waited to have the funds like I originally planned but as desperation is goes. When I called them asking for a refund they stated the deposit was none refundable, at this point no service was completed and again nothing was communicated- if I had known the policies I would have never agreed to a payment plan. So now I am scammed out of 100 dollars that I could be using to eat food. Thank you star auto for taking advantage of people in need.

I can not express how grateful my family is for this professional and reliable auto glass shop. We hit a deer through the night north of St. Louis and we're forced to stay at a hotel as our windshield was in bad condition. We contacted 7 Star Auto Glass and they got us in immediately the next day. At first the cash app pay request put us off, but they had requested a down-payment of $200 via Venmo to order the glass we needed. We had no problem with the cash app and when we arrived at the shop they were waiting and ready for us. We waited in the waiting room and our son watched from the window as the gentlemen replaced our broken windshield in about 35 minutes. While we sat there waiting, another lady had her driver's window replaced before she could even pay for it. The gentlemen at 7 Star Auto Glass know exactly what they are doing. I would trust them again with our vehicle. And will recommend them to all.
