I purchased a used vehicle from Maher Chevrolet ( Thanks Mark) on Wednesday. Part of the deal was for a replacement windshield. Steve contacted me on Thursday to set an appointment for 8 am Friday. He came to my house on time, explained in detail what he was going to do, and explained what caused the issues with the old windshield. He finished up and explained the care of my new windshield and pointed out a couple of things that I could repair. He told me the correct way to install my wiper blades. It was one of the most positive experiences I have ever had. I contacted Steve and he was very professional. After he understood that my windshield was cracked, he explained his procedure regarding the insurance company’s involvement and that oftentimes the entire repair would be at no cost to me. Sure enough, he patched me into a call with my insurance company, everything was set in motion, and he came and did the repair in my driveway the very next morning - with no out of pocket for me. When my windshield had some damage I called my insurance company and they made me go through Safelite to file a claim. Luckily, I found out I could use any company to have the work done. I chose Steve's Auto Glass Service because of the amount of five-star reviews he had. I am so glad I did. He showed up 5 minutes before he said he would be here, he replaced my windshield with the highest quality glass and did an amazing job. I would recommend him to my friends and family. I needed a windshield for my BMW X5 and my insurance Co. tried to have the Big local chain complete the work (Saf*&#!ht) but I did not have good experience with them in the past so I elected to have the work carried out with Steve's Auto glass service. Steve was extremely courteous and knowledgeable throughout the whole process and even managed to supply an original BMW windshield as the replacement part which I was thrilled about. He came to my work and installed the unit in about two hours. I was amazed with the quality of the finished product. All molds and plastics were put back as new and no adhesive can be seen anywhere. I would HIGHLY recommend using or requesting Steve's Shop to undertake any work as he cares a lot more than the Big Chains who only care to get you in and out in the shortest time. I hopefully will not have to utilize his services again but I will always recommend him to family and friends. Keep up the great job Steve.

STEVES AUTOGLASS SERVICE!!!! It’s so easy to post a rant about what’s wrong with the world or how we’ve been scammed. Well, I was. Scammed. Mindlessly accepted the insurance referral to the big chain Autoglass location in Largo, which resulted in weeks wasted and body damage to my car. I called the local dealership, who gave me a referral to Steve. 1- COMMUNICATIVE! He calls, texts, or emails PROMPTLY. Walked me through every step with my insurance. Sent reminders. Looks you in the eye and greets you with a great handshake. 2- PROMPT! Within 48 hrs of first contacting him, he CAME TO ME, and my windshield is fixed. Coordinated with the calibration company to arrive just as he finished. 3-KIND! You’ll see it in just the way he speaks to you. He was gracious (perhaps too humble) when he talks about the details of his work and the quality materials he uses. Why is it so hard to finish those who stop, take the time, do what they promised, and take pride in their work? I need a “Steve” for all of life’s incidentals!
