I called 3 different places to repair a broken window (Theft & Grab) multiple window repair companies quoted me max $400.00 with a 1 week waiting period for a 2008 Honda Accord!!! In my opinion, this is ridiculous. However, when I called Gino there was no additional hassle. He offered same day service at $250.00. Not to mention, this included tax. He was very professional and transparent. He vacuumed my car out and swept up the glass in front of my garage from replacing the window. Quality customer service is very difficult to come across now and days, especially due to the pandemic. I couldn’t be a happier paying customer. He is truly a honest hardworking man who represents his company well. It barely even took an hour to replace the window. Bill is fantastic! He does mobile visits to repair rock chips (and more - see his webpage for more details). I found him just due to the numerous 5-star reviews on Google. If you are here and are reading this, stop researching other companies and just book his services now. He was upfront about pricing and availability right off the bat even before you finalize booking his services, so you know what you are getting yourself into. He is also very friendly and funny in person. When I initially called yesterday, he said he did not have availability until the next day but if I needed immediate work, he was happy to refer me to someone else in the industry whose work he can vouch for. I did book with him though and just reserved a timeslot for the day after based on his honesty and the reasonable pricing. I originally requested his services for 2 known rock chips on the windshield. Instead of just fixing those 2, he found and fixed 2 additional ones (for a total of 4) and was even kind enough to reduce the total price for us due to the additional cost. He was quick and efficient with his time and even left the windshield in a cleaner state than it originally was. I am very pleased with his work and would be happy to recommend his services to my friends and family in the San Diego area!

Martin is the best!! Wife got a new white Tesla Model 3 and wanted all the sides and that humongous rear hatch glass tinted at the best place in San Diego. Did tons of research and inquired to about 10 places and AMB was one of the few places where their reviews on Google, Facebook and Yelp were top notch whereas other tint shops would have good reviews on one site and not so good on the other. I sent AMB a message on their website on the page with lots of good info and pics on particularly Tesla car tinting. Within a few hours, Martin sent me a clear detailed pricing breakdown and what brand of tint film and features you can get in the email. They use industry leading brand by the way manufactured by Eastman which the company has been around for over 100 years and it’s super high quality tint film at a very reasonable price from AMB. Other tint shops replied back asking for me to call them or their prices were much higher. What’s the point of messaging if they want me to call them I thought. I confirmed my appointment with Martin, who accommodated me and got me in a week earlier because I would be leaving out of town that week and I wanted to make sure my wife gets the coolest (heh) and sickest looking Model 3 among the sea of white Model 3’s in So Cal and of course with the added benefits of uv blocking for better skin and more range on the battery due to using less AC. I showed up to the shop on the day of the appointment with my toddler and Martin was super friendly and running the whole show in his shop. What I mean by that is he made sure my toddler was comfortable and happy by giving us the remote to the big screen tv so we can watch kid friendly programs and even handed us the remote to the AC cuz the toddler thought it was too cold. I was scheduled to finish by 5 pm but Martin got it completed by 2 pmish and made sure I was happy with it by looking at the finished tint together. Let’s just say I got that tingly feeling again when you first gaze at ur new car at the car dealership or Tesla showroom. When I took home the car that day, I felt mission accomplished because I absolutely wanted to make sure my wife was taken care of. She loved it and was thrilled with the finished product which makes me so happy. I am grateful for great shop owners and shops like AMB Auto Glass and Window Tint to be in sunny San Diego and thank you Martin for the awesome experience and increasing the cool factor of the Model 3!

I normally do not leave reviews. When a business provides exceptional service, the right thing to do is let people know about it. I originally went with Auto Glass Repair Center because after calling 8 different auto glass places, they were the most affordable. I eventually got my windshield replaced and was very happy with the service provided. Later that week, I experienced a leak where water entered the vehicle. I initially thought that it was because there might be a leak in the window. It turns out, the leak is a common defect with Toyota Tacomas. (This issue is well documented on forums online.) I called the manager and told him what happened, he told me he would fix the problem even though it did not have anything to do with the windshield. In conclusion, I saved money by going with this service, I was treated respectfully and the work was done to an excellent standard. On top of all of this, the manager fixed a problem that was a defect with my vehicle rather than an issue with their work. They did not charge me any extra money even though to do the extra work it cost them extra time. They go above and beyond for the customer and don't expect recognition. It seems that they do this simply because they hold themselves to a high standard and want to do the best they can for every customer. This place is amazing - if i could give 6+ stars, I would. The customer service is absolutely phenomenal! The president of AGS, Tom, is super friendly and approachable. The office manager, Marisa, is a complete doll-super quick and helpful. I had a break in on my car, where someone smashed my passenger window, and she was able to squeeze me in with their highly skilled glass specialists, same day. They did an amazing job, cleaned ALL of the glass out of my car (even in the little nooks and crannies), quickly replaced my window, and it was all affordable. I’ve had my windows tinted by Anthony as well, who re-tinted the replacement window before installation. My car looks like nothing ever happened to it! 10/10 will go again, and recommend to everyone. I’m so happy with this place, I won’t go anywhere else for my auto glass needs. Don’t bother going anywhere else!

All around, great and honest experience. I needed a new windshield and got a reasonable quote. I also told them that I'm experiencing a leak into my truck when it rains hard, etc. Told me it's most likely your 2005 truck has a little rust build up near the windshield. Once they removed my cracked windshield, they have me the opportunity to look for myself at the rust issue and I could see that was indeed the problem. So they quoted me the price to fix it and I agreed. Once done, they were honest and gave me a lower quote/cost. They could have stuck with their original quote and charged me, but they were honest that it was a bit less work and charged me less. I'm super happy that I chose these Pros to do this work on my truck. I'll be back but hopefully not soon :)

Affordable, quick, and good customer service. I used the Yelp app to ask for quotes from 5 different businesses. Fanar was the first to reply with a quote. I waited for the other businesses and read the reviews posted on their Yelp page. At the end of the day, I decided on Diamond Auto Glass for 3 reasons: 1. Overall Yelp rating is 5 stars. 2. It had a familiar Elite Yelper who recommended the place. 3. Affordable I read in previous reviews that they came to the house, Fanar scheduled me to come to his business. I was quickly greeted by Fanar when I arrived. They were working on two other cars when I parked. Sanda and Basha worked on my car. I waited in the office and watched them work. They were pretty quick, it took less than an hour. The window is not the same brand as my car but looks like the original window. My brother was able to Facetime with me and check out their work, he said it looked great. There is a warranty on the window. I hope that I don't have to return again but if I do I know where to go!

We found Wally at Golden Stars Auto Glass on Yelp. He was one of three businesses we contacted to get a quote. Wally gave us the best deal and was the best communicator of those businesses so we scheduled an appointment. I was very impressed with how friendly Wally was when we got to the shop. He gave us chairs, sodas, and let us use the restroom. My windshield was replaced in less time than I thought it would take. I don't anticipate breaking another windshield any time soon but will use Golden Stars for other future auto maintenance. I really appreciate how courteous and professional Wally was.

Update 4/18/25: Once again, the amazing family at Liberty Glass took care of all of my window issues in their highly-competent and super-friendly way. They did a perfect -- and ultra-fast (1 hour turnaround!) -- replacement of my sliding liftgate window (which I wrote about in my original review, below). They have now helped me out TWICE when another mechanic (not from Liberty) subsequently did sloppy work that interfered with the movement of the window. They repaired it with lightning fast speed, and they refused to take my money -- even thought they were actually repairing an error made by another (non-Liberty) mechanic!! The owner seemed to genuinely care about my situation -- he really wanted me to have a dependable back window that I was happy with. That's going above and beyond in a way that I rarely see in today's business culture. These are really good people, and a stellar, family-run business. I would drive halfway across the state to get work done at Liberty -- they are THAT good. Such a positive experience -- thank you!!! Original review: Another 5-Star review! This shop deserves it: it's everything you could ever want from a well-run, conscientious, family-owned business: great work, really reasonable pricing, staff are all very communicative, and they treat you like family. Speed, efficiency, and the most amazing customer service! We reached out to them around 9am, dropped off the car at about 10:15am, and got a text that the car was ready at 11:02am. The turnaround time is insane. They had a few other cars there so I was expecting it to be at least a couple hours, but they got it done quickly and with lots of enthusiasm. I believe it's a family owned shop and when you step right in, you also feel like family (even if it's for 5 minutes). 10/10, definitely recommend and if I ever need any windshield or auto glass services, I will be back!
