I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Aaron’s! Unfortunately, my sunroof shattered during some stormy weather. I had some confusing and annoying issues with my car insurance, and they actually provided me with Aaron’s information on a list of approved glass auto body shops. Although I did not end up going through insurance and my car insurance carrier was difficult to work with in regards to the sunroof, I still decided to go with Aaron’s and I am so glad I did! My insurance told me they couldn’t cover the sunroof replacement unless I waited 2 weeks to 5 months for the glass. Since it was during some rainy and stormy weeks in Chicago, I didn’t want to wait that long for a new part from Honda and risk interior damage from the weather. Aaron’s helped me find a used part VERY quickly. They gave me an estimate of around 2 weeks, and within 24 hours, they called me back and said the part was already in! The women at the front desk/office are incredibly sweet and nice—I was very impressed with their professionalism and service. They even knew it was me when I walked in, because I had called so many times earlier in the week! They were very patient and understanding. It’s so common to experience poor customer service these days, and Aaron’s really impressed me with how amazing their customer service is. The mechanics were also great—quick, efficient, and very professional and respectful. It is obvious this is likely a family owned business! I drive a 2012 Honda CR-V with almost 150,000 miles on it. It is definitely a “city car” with a lot of cosmetic body damage. I often have negative experiences at auto shops because the mechanics and staff often try to pressure me to pay for additional work due to having an older vehicle with a bunch of scratches and dents. Aaron’s didn’t attempt to upsell me or convince me to pay for any additional repairs, and the mechanic who worked on my car was very respectful and kind about being transparent with the other (unrelated) damage—no one tried to make me feel bad or get me to pay for additional labor I can’t afford. They order used parts, and I really appreciate places that offer used and after-market parts like Aaron’s. I do not make very much money, and this is a great place if you are on a budget and/or experiencing an unexpected repair like glass replacement. The pricing was very fair, and they were incredibly transparent about the costs upfront. I ended up paying the exact amount they estimated before they even ordered the glass for me. It was also super fast and efficient! I often have issues with car places due to having an unconventional work schedule and two jobs, but I loved the ease and hours/availability at Aaron’s. It was great that I didn’t have to make an appointment and come at a specific time, and it also did not take long at all. They were honest about the time frame estimate, but I was in and out and paid in under one hour on a Friday morning a couple hours after they opened. It was definitely a bit busy, but they were so fast and efficient—truly a wonderful, easy, and pain-free experience! This is a very honest shop and the prices are very fair. They did not make me feel uncomfortable at all as a woman who knows very little about cars and drives an older, beat up car with high mileage. I am extremely impressed and would 100% come back if I needed them again. I will recommend Aaron’s to everyone I know moving forward! Great experience and absolutely wonderful employees here!

I needed my driver’s side window replaced and was recommended here by a coworker. I called to see if they could help me, they told me to come in, no appointment necessary, and that they would have it repaired in less than 2 hours. I brought it in, and they delivered on time as promised, but the glass they installed ended up being deformed, so the door wasn’t properly sealed. Unfortunately it was the last one they had on hand, so they ordered a new glass for me. They let me keep the deformed glass for the day so I could still go home, and told me the new one would be in the next day. I came back the following day, they installed the new glass at no extra charge, and it fit like a glove. It’s weird. It’s a chain, but it didn’t feel that way. People actually smiled, they asked me how I was doing. The place was clean (I watched what I could only imagine was one of the supervisors sweep the floor himself). They took me in on time, apologized that they were a few minutes late finishing (I didn’t notice), and I was given a nice gift on the way out that a member of senior staff makes herself at home. It’s very small, but they make use of the space well and clearly understand what it’s like to wait in a room for 3 hours. Why the heck do people go to Safelite when places like this exist? Commercials?

For some background info- I've had my Acura windshield, my previous Nissian windshield, my friend's Mercury windshield, and my bf's Nissian maximums windshield ALL replaced at the same auto glass shop I have went to for any of my auto glass repairs and always recommended the shop to anyone and anyone in need of a same day, quality work and reasonably priced auto glass repairs over anywhere else I've called or gotten estimates from. Thatal being said - when someone brokey driver side window, I called my go-to shop located in Cicero and got an estimate close to the windshield cost. In short, I was out a gas station a few days ago when I man saw my very terribly is very terribly half attempted plastic covering my non existent window and told me about a place called easy auto glass across from food for less and voodoo for us and that his body paid less for his windshield on his more expensive car than I did for my accurate. Curious I called them and lo and behold For the window and labor they only charged me $80. And did it in less than an hour. Not only do they have in stock but they didn't 5 same day a and I have already recommended it to 2 of my friends looking for an auto glass shop. My 1st experience here was definitely good and I will be returning to have them replace my shattered shattered right side rear mirror, Which thankfully will be the last glass related repair needed on my vehicle after the accident I had over the summer. I'm a. Lengthy review I know but they deserve it they were very busy and the woman even told me on the phone that they were backed up and it might be a while but they were done within the hour and I was missing a screw on my door causing the panel to be loose, when they returned my vehicle that was also fixed with no charge. If you made it this far, congrats. That's mad dedication, my friend. Try this place out if you're looking you're looking for same day service, also one more thing they call they are bilingual And also Offer at home service in other words they will come to wherever your car is. When you have a need for an auto glass replacement shop, this Back of the Yards location is the one to patronize. Drive up, be directed in, speak with a courteous employee or two, get a quote, agree to service, and step out of the vehicle. Depending on how busy they are, you then have an opportunity to have a front row seat to watch various windows, reculators, etc., be replaced or step into a waiting room. Their service is quick and efficient. To date, price gouging has not been an issue. The front desk/payment clerk is also kind and efficient. I have pulled up to other locations, but I come back to Fernandez on 51st and Ashland and recommend it regularly.

I usually don't write reviews, but in this case it is essential. I called on Monday about my ford freestar 06 van side view mirrors, everywhere else they didn't have them or said it wouldn't be there until Friday. However, I got the call Wednesday, they were there and I came yesterday to have them installed.. for the price I was impressed and it was done in no time. Then I inquired about the grinding noise I had when I put my car in reverse, I had my brakes done by my cousin's dad last week so when I was told a screw was missing, it was a surprise because it was driving just fine until Wednesday... they took care of it and I was able to drive me and my little boy back home safely. I would definitely return again for more repairs😊🙂
