Fairly happy with the work done. I was concerned that I would not be receiving OEM glass for our 2024 Hyundai. Hence i asked specifically for OEM glass but the work order had a different part number, and it was very difficult to confirm the glass manufacturer over the phone or before the appointment. Having said that, when we went in to get the cracked windshield replaced, we saw it was the right glass and an exact copy of the current one with the right Hyundai logo and KAC logos as well (Korean supplier). Pros: One interesting point to note and maybe this was a manufacturing defect from factory but after the windshield replacement the wind noise in the car was significantly reduced from the time when our car was new. All in all, very happy with quality of work and price of the OEM windshield. Furthermore, the ADAS calibration done on the cameras also seemed to work fine after the appointment. Con: After the repair, there were dirty handprints on our steering wheel and a lot of residues(glue?) and other debris left behind on the dash and steering wheel. Could be easily cleaned but would have appreciated getting the car back in condition we gave it in.

I was a brand NEW customer and never even stepped into the shop. Safelite in a whole is awful. I had someone last night from safelite be very rude and showed no compassion. She said I needed to change my appointment and I said fine but I was trying to get the money for the service. Than the lady went ahead and canceled my appointment with my authorization and to make matters worse when I called the following morning I was on hold for almost 2 hours because a rep and supervisor with safelite was trying to get a hold of the shop to tell them I didn't cancel my appointment. I don't trust a company with my after all this headache. They advertise about understanding car damage is bad enough, they are here to help. Oh, yea! They certainly made my stress easier.... NOT! safelite is a joke. They had no compassion and no accommodation for their bad treatment. I highly advise pe6to go elsewhere when it comes to your car. No one needs a company to treat them the way I was treated. I will be going with another company. I wasted my time trying to get help with the cost. Never ever will I or want hear the word SAFELITE.

I went in to get a windshield chip treated and they were very friendly, professional, and fast! I made an appointment online day of and was taken care of practically immediately upon arrival. The technician was named Christopher and he was very enthusiastic and polite. I felt at peace knowing he would be the one helping me out today. The lady at the front desk who greeted me also was very friendly and welcoming. They had me just sign a paper before getting started and I liked how the paper was laminated and they had me sign with a dry erase marker. I appreciate them having a reusable waver compared to needing to print off a new paper each time. Overall I am really satisfied. I was in and out in no time! It was a little pricy, in my opinion, but for the quality and friendliness of service I would say it is worth it. They said I would receive a survey link in my email but I didn't see it so I am just writing a review here.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Brought in my wife's Tesla Model Y after it got a nasty stone chip right in the center of the driver’s field of vison. Due to all the computer sensors and systems, Tesla's are very finicky vehicles to service. Besides an actual Tesla Service Center, Safelite is the only glass/windshield repair company approved by Tesla (which established confidence from the start). The team took in my vehicle right at my appointment time (no running late here!) and finished within 45 minutes. I was thrilled to say the least. They automatically processed everything through my insurance so no red tape for me (another bonus). The staff was personal and courteous - true professionals on every level. Would highly recommend the Safelight AutoGlass off Washtenaw Avenue for any vehicle glass issue!

I'm one of those people who rarely leaves reviews, but this was such a good exprience, I'm going to! This is some of the best communication and customer service I've experienced. Within a day of submitting my claim for a crack in my windshield I was scheduled for a next-day appointment, at my home. The technition texted the morning of the appointment to confirm his specific arrival time within the larger window I'd been scheduled for, followed-up with a text confiming about an hour ahead of time (so appreciated!), and then - wait for it - actually arrived at this exact time. He was professional, friendly, kind, and did great, fast work. Very impressed and pleased with this company/experience!

You need to keep your customers in the loop when you are going to be late. It's 5:15 PM on a Friday and their call center tracked down the assigned technician for me to find out he is still on another job, and plans on still coming, but it will be a while. An update call would be appreciated. Their local shop closed and went home knowing there were open jobs on the schedule. I'm sure the poor coming at some point is not happy knowing all the office people are off to enjoy the weekend while he still works. I have a fleet of 12 vehicles and will be finding another glass company.

Dropped off the car to get the windshield replaced, was told 2 to 2.5 hours, but the whole thing was done in hour and 15 minutes, which was nice. Their notification is bit off lol... appointment was 10am, at 11am, got a text message saying they started the work on the car, at 11:15am, got a call from the tech saying they were done and I can pick up the car anytime lol. So far, satisfied with the work that's been done. Staff were friendly, the tech explained what was done, what I should avoid, etc. Overall, good experience.

I had Cory from Safelite come to my home at the exact time of my appointment. The weather was 20 degrees and Corey was very efficient. He told me what he would be doing, how long it would take, and cleaned up everything like he was never there. He test drove my car to check the cameras after the installation. I loved how easy this processed went and I would definitely use Safelite again. Excellent job!! Audrey Agassi

I signed up online, put in a date and time I wanted to drop my car off. When I went to pick it up it hadn’t been touched yet, over 7 hrs later. I was told because I dropped my car off and left, I didn’t have an appointment. They had until closing time to get it done. Also their website shows AAA members get a 10% discount. Apparently you have to get this through AAA. The manager’s name for Safeliite must be Mis Lead.

The tech that replaced the windshield of my truck didn’t tighten the nut to the drivers side wiper arm. My wife and teenage children drive this truck. If my smart ass son didn’t try to hit me with the over spray I wouldn’t have known it was loose. The tech put the cover on the nut, but couldn’t find the time to do the job. Maybe if he wasn’t on his phone the entire time, he would have caught it.
