Safelite AutoGlass

Had one huge rock strike and two additional rock strikes on one trip down through Mississippi into Texas so I needed a complete replacement as the crack spread from an immediate 6 inches to about 13 inches two days. Making the appointment was extremely simple but more on that later. Doors promptly opened at 7 AM and my truck was taken back immediately. Took about an hour and a half for a windshield replacement and recalibration. Inside of the vehicle was clean. The next day I attempted to use my windshield washers and they didn't work. Lifted the hood to find water spurting out of a connection that was missing the rest of the line it should be connected to. Took it back to the shop and Derek came out and immediately knew what the issue was and fixed it. I have always been extremely happy with my service from them over the past decade. I did have to adjust my HUD because it appears the replacement windshield has a different shape than the OEM factory one because the HUD was in a wacky position on the new windshield. The appointment email I received said that the appointment was for 7 AM CST and of course we are in CDT now so I was unsure whether the doors would open at 7 AM CDT or not because the times on the doors said they opened at 8 AM. This is something that should be fixed unless Congress fixes the whole time change thing because it is confusing when the business doors say they open at 8 AM and the appointment is for 7 AM and the email says CST.

I've used Satellite in the past when I had to replace the windshield in my 2007 Camry and a 2014 Camry that I previously owned. Well fast forward to 2014. Numerous rocks in 3 separate incidents ruined my windshield in my 2019 SUV. I went to safelite to have it repaired rather than replaced. The technician repaired one of the hit spots, but I can tell that the bigger damaged spot was half filled in with the solution. I called and made a complaint, but they have you to sign this document that says if the repair fails no matter if it's their fault, they are not liable, therefore, you are responsible for the cost to replace the windshield. I was livid but cut my loss and drove around with a cracked windshield until I felt like I wanted to replace it. I finally did it because of a big planned trip. The work time was for 3 hrs and the job was completed in 1.5 hrs which is concerning. I expressed my concern to the technician and he ensured me that I should have no issues and if I do, to give them a call. I stated that I most definitely will for an almost $1500.00 price tag to include materials, disposable fee, and labor cost.

Went there with my Tahoe that has minimum surface rust to get my windshield replaced yes there’s silicone on it because it’s leaking immediately refuses to replace or repair my windshield telling me to take my truck to the body shop not knowing my family has a body shop and I am very knowledgeable on body damage and windshield repairs and replacement I don’t think jaison the tech wanted to do the job not to mention feeling out of place being of a different skin color it’s sad had how the bare minimum effort was given to me thankfully I found someone else locally that will do the job with warranty never again safelite

Darrian made this experience fast, easy and fun! He came out on time and explained to me everything that was going to take place and did exactly what he said he would. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. It renews my trust in Safelite to know firsthand that they hire quality technicians who are well trained and personable. My back glass had been shattered by, looks like a bb gun or rock. Called around on Friday to check on a price and everyone said they could do it early next week because they had to order it. Called satellite and they had the glass on hand and could install it that day and was cheaper than everyone else. The guy took me to the back and showed me where the glass had been replaced before and the job was done poorly and enable surface rust to start, he took care of that for me. This is were you need to go, I'm very satisfied with them.

Great customer service! They called me and let me know I could come in earlier if I wanted. I was able to get in and out earlier than my scheduled appointment time. The staff was professional and proficient. They treated me with respect but were also friendly. Everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy their job and seemed happy to be there which gave me confidence in my choice of glass repair. They even helped me to get the best price available for the service I needed. They have gained a new customer. I will not be going anywhere else.

I was told 2 prices in case my windshield required space for the camera. Camera windshield was ~$75 more, I believe. At NO point was a $500 recalibration fee EVER mentioned. Re: your reply: they did not confirm my windshield until my appointment and I repeat, NEVER was a $500 recalibration fee ever brought up, discussed, uttered, pointed to, asked if that was acceptable, or prayed about. You can tell me how it was supposed to be, but I'm telling you how it was.

Technician changed my entire windshield in my cracked garage bc a downpour popped up unexpectedly. He was amazing and did a fantastic job. Super knowledgeable and friendly. Scheduled everything in just a few clicks online. They called ahead to confirm the VIN to be sure they had the right glass for my vehicle. Service window was 5 hours and he showed up 20 minutes into it, leaving me the rest of the afternoon free. Awesome service. I’d hire them again.

Excellent same day service. On our way to Biloxi we got a chip in our windshield, by the time we got off the interstate the request was processing. The technician communicated when he was going to arrive, when he got there, and when the work was complete. I did not even need to leave my lunch date to meet up with him. Additionally, the repair on the chip prevented us from having to replace the windshield and you can barely see where the damage was.

Had the front windshield replaced in my 2019 ram limited, they did a great job . Very professional and efficient, the install took less time than anticipated and the result was as if from the factory. Thank you and I highly recommend them . Long over due but quick update, 3 years later, the windshield still doing FANTASTIC. No leaks looks great, and 8 states of travel and over 20,000 miles . There are no issues with any of it.
