We were on a 22-day road trip across the country with our 3 kids when we found out the glass in the back of our van was shattered! I called Bob at 8am, and he went out of his way for us so we were back on the road at 1pm the same day! The part wasn't available same day, and obviously time was of the essence, so he called all his contacts until he found us a used piece of glass. He vacuumed all the broken glass out (including off our personal belongings) and even gave me a ride to and from my hotel. On top of all that, his price was $100+ under the chain business with the catchy jingle and was available 9 days faster! I can't recommend this business enough. Very impressed with Dakotaland Autoglass. Far and away better than 'the other guys.' You can call them and talk to a person who will promptly answer your questions. Their prices are FAR better, and they told me it would take a couple hours and they had it done in under an hour. If you need somebody to 'repair' or 'replace' your windshield, get that jingle out of your head and come to these guys instead!!

It is rare these days to find an owner and a company who really understand the meaning of customer service, and treat you as if you really matter to them. Such was our experience with Don and his staff at Rapid Auto Glass. It is with pleasure and gratitude that I write this review of our experience there. We were on vacation, and had the unfortunate experience of a big bird smashing into our windshield while we were traveling at highway speed late at night. After several calls to auto glass repair businesses in Rapid City next morning, we ended up on Don's doorstep, not knowing what to expect. Don was very welcoming, and immediately went into action. In the process, he even caught a part number error made by a different repair shop.He arranged for the correct part to be ordered and delivered, and installed it promptly and professionally the next morning. It was quite obvious that he knew exactly what needed to be done. He graciously arranged for us to use a loaner vehicle while ours was being repaired, which was something he did not have to do. It certainly made our stay much more enjoyable, as we were able to take in some of the surrounding sights. I can only say that if you choose to do business with Don and his staff at Rapid Auto Glass, you will not be disappointed. The mobile windshield replacement van service was top notch. Our vehicle was back in our garage, but it wasn't safe to drive to the Safelite facility 50 miles away from our small town. It was easy to book an appointment, which was way sooner than we expected. The service man was efficient and careful about keeping glass from getting into the vehicle and not leaving any on the ground to drive over. The entire process was completed in a reasonable length of time. We definitely recommend Safelite to other drivers who might need this service.
