If you plan on keeping your car for more than 3 years, get the windows tinted somewhere else. I took my car in because the back windshield had warped so badly that I couldn't see and the driver's window had peeled across the whole window. I received a call while they had my car telling me that the back windshield's warranty was void because I had peeled off some of the tint. (The tint was peeling and so warped that I couldn't see so I took some off for safety reasons.) I said, "That's fine how much would it cost to remove the tint?" The girl on the phone said "it would be $120 to remove it". I said "Go ahead and remove it". Later when I picked up my car, I saw the back windshield tint had been redone and I received the invoice, I found out that removing the tint was only $30 and they charged the additional $90 to put new tint on the back which I DID NOT want or ask for. Why would I pay for another bad tint job?? I called the girl back and told her that she and I both specifically said "remove" the tint, not remove and put new tint on. She told me that it's "Common sense that if you remove it, you put new tint on". I told her again that I just asked to remove it. She said "Aye yah yah" and said let me put you on hold so I can talk to management. After about a 15 minute hold she came back on and asked if I could come in tomorrow at 10 to have it removed and they will process my refund. I didn't even finish saying the word "Yes" before she hung up. WORST CUTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. She acted like I was inconveniencing HER, when I'm the one without a car for the majority of 2 days because of the low-quality tint of this company and the mistake of the customer service person. They called the next day and canceled my appointment to remove the tint for "an emergency residential home tinting"

Just had the windows tinted on my 1997 VW Golf GTI. They car is old, and the passenger side window regulator is on its last legs. They were Very careful when tinting that window and were able to do it with success. I had all the windows done except the front windshield. 5% on the back three, and 25% on the driver and passenger doors. Typical of most cars out here. But here's the thing that really caught my attention: The windows look GREAT by the way, and of course superb craftsmanship. But today it was 104° in Tempe, and rising. Today was frigging Hot! Usually when I leave work, I have to turn on the A/C no matter what, even when it's 89°. These older cars did not come with any sun protection at all, and this little car was like driving in a magnifying glass bulb! But, after the tint was applied, I literally did Not need my A/C!!! It was Sooo nice in the car, without a/c, I drove all over town, then back home, as the temp kept rising to 106 in some places! This is a testament to really high quality tint! Im still flabbergasted (lol), because I've never experienced that! Especially in 104° weather! To me, it's kind of a phenomenon! I've had many cars tinted over the years, did some myself back in the day. But this experience today beats them all! I am a Very Happy Customer! As far as the establishment, it is very top notch, clean, orderly, etc. The way the shop is lit with the correct LED Kelvins makes it easy for the personnel to do their great work. It's a shop that people with these skills would want to work! Everybody at the shop was friendly and professional. Awesome staff! Ill be bringing all my business here! Although I was never told the ceramic windshield tint was polarized, nor does their website state it, I somehow ended up with "polarized" windshield tint. To be honest, I think it's because they heavily used the heat gun so much that it left permanent streaks that they passed off as being "polarized." The reason I didn't get this corrected is because it was now my second time having the tint replaced because the first time around, they put the wrong tint. After two different, hours-long visits during the workweek, I just accepted it and haven't bothered leaving a review until today. Jealous of all the good reviews! Wish I experienced the same.

After a frustrating hour-long ordeal with SafeLite, where I couldn't secure an appointment within my needed time frame and had to deal with a clunky website, useless app, and unhelpful customer service, I was desperate for a solution. SafeLite didn't have availability for two weeks, which was unacceptable for my situation. In my frustration, I did a quick Google search and came across Auto Glass Direct and Tint AZ. I called them and was lucky enough to have Megan answer my call. From the moment she picked up, the experience was a complete 180 from my nightmare with SafeLite. Megan took my information and within five minutes, she had me scheduled for an appointment the very next day at a time that worked perfectly for me. She even contacted my insurance provider and ensured that the claim was applied to the shop. Talk about efficiency! I was so pleased with the experience that I called back to share my feedback with a manager, only to find out that Megan was the manager. Her exceptional service, ease of scheduling, and ability to handle everything effectively, efficiently, and timely were beyond impressive. Megan turned what had been a stressful situation into a seamless and pleasant experience. I can't recommend Auto Glass Direct and Tint AZ enough, thanks to Megan's outstanding customer service!

Customer service like this is RARE! I have replaced my windshield about four times in the five years I’ve owned my Escalade. The shop went above and beyond with my somewhat complicated request. I’m getting ready to sell my vehicle and wanted to replace the windshield and replace scratched tint in my back glass window. Without too much out of pocket cost. (Rear glass tint over defroster lines can be a tedious and expensive removal process). Out of all the shops I called, about 8 in total, none were willing to give a decent credit towards tint replacement. All except AGD, the girl I spoke with went back and forth with a manager and was able to get me what I requested with no additional out of pocket cost. They did not have availability til next week, but I received a call the next day and they were able to move around a few appointments squeeze me in the next day! I’ve always believed in taking care of those that take care of you. Once I get into my new vehicle, I will be sure to give them my business once again by getting my vehicle tinted or any other glass replacement I may need. Also any future referrals will be sent their way for sure! Your customer service truly stands out and is very much appreciated! Thank you to the whole AGD team!

The lady on the phone was not very professional. After booking, I tried to call back to get directions to the new location, the hold time was quite extensive. When she finally answered again, she said hello and then hung up on me. I tried calling back, and she never answered again. I usually come to this company for all my windsheild replacements. I called and gave th lady my info and requested the same windsheid, the F150 one with the Ford logo on it. I just left the shop. Not only did I not get the windsheild I requested, but the rear view mirror is shaking so bad I can not see clearly behind me. I had an expensive beaded medallion hanging from my rear view mirror with some other valuable decor and the medallion in broken!!!! The only tech at the shop was very short and had zero soft skills. I will not be bringing my vehicles here anymore. I am sick about my medallion and the horrible service I received today.

My husband is very "sensitive" about his car. He called around to different locations to find the best place for a windshield replacement. AGD called back first thing the next morning providing a quote. Even though they weren't the cheapest price, their price was still descent but it was their knowledge and professionalism that made us choose them. On the day of the install we preferred for them to come to our home but in requesting their most experienced installer, we were advised to come into the shop. That is where we met Gilbert. He was great, providing great customer service. Even though he was referred as the most experienced, he spoke highly of his other installers. The install was done in a timely manner and again everyone was very professional and provided great customer service. Highly recommend.

Professional, efficient, helpful, and friendly. AGD has replaced a couple windshields and roof glass on our Tesla and gets it done quick. Had the driver side window on my Mini stop working on my way to work. It wouldn’t go back up after opening it. Dropped in to see if they could help me prop it up or remove the trim panel and they immediately went to look. Since I wasn’t on schedule, and the window wouldn’t move by hand, they weren’t allowed to work anymore on the vehicle. I asked if they had a torx screwdriver I could use and without hesitation, handed me the tool. Got the trim panel off and I was able to move the glass up by hand for me to get home in this heat. Thanks for the save!
