Auto Glass & Sunroof Repair

After years of having a lake in my car after a rain I now have a nice dry floor board! I had another "window" professional try to blow out my clogged drain line but they couldn't fix it after several hours- then wanted me to come back and leave my car all day- with a large repair cost range- Lee gave me the heads up of the diagnosis charge and how it would apply if he could fix the issue- He was able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly and professionally- no more leak- and I didn't have to drive my care somewhere and leave it all day- He came to my house! Let me first off start by saying i am a local business owner myself, and as a business owner your customers are the most important to take care of even if that means going out of your way. Unfortunately this day and age customer service and support has seamed to diminish. I myself and as a fellow business owner bend over backwards to stand behind my customers 1000% and i encourage anyone to ask anyone of them about there experience at my business. Myself and my partner have known Lee and have used him in the past through a couple other (unnamed) local shops. When we finally had the means to branch off and open our own business we decided to use Lee too tint the business (store) windows. That is when everything went completely wrong, not only did he do a HORRIBLE TINT JOB and the store looks completely awful and unprofessional. We tried contacting him on multiple occasions to have him at least come by and take a look at the problems we were having with the tint and the installation of the tint. He continued to come up with excuses and saying he was busy. I understand if you own a business life can get hectic and you can have a busy schedule. But after more then 5-8 attempts of trying to have Lee make his work right (and being beyond patient) we gave up. It has been over four months and as a business we have a lot of customers that come and go, and we do not want to send the wrong impression by having an unprofessional looking store front or tint job. He then proceeded to yell, threaten me, talk trash, and say he will never refer a customer to us after i had mentioned about putting a stop payment on the check we wrote him. Now as a business owner myself not only was that beyond childish, unprofessional, and unethical. But he has never even had the decency to come by and at least take a look at the poor workmanship and horrible tint job he performed. But yet he was persistent on saying he was professional and he knows what he is doing and has been doing this for 20 something years etc. I do not recommend this business and this person to a single sole. Absolutely horrible horrible job, workmanship, customer service, ethics and just the lack of caring at all. But he was super quick to cash the check and not even pop in to take a look. PLEASE TELL YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR FRIENDS AND WHOEVER ELSE TO STAY AWAY AND GO ELSEWHERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I wish I could give him 10 stars! If you want somebody honest that you can trust 1,000%, call now! We had a sunroof in my sons 4Runner that was off track and well, it was just broke! We didn’t want to invest the money into putting an entirely new sunroof in. Lee was able to get it back in place and disconnect the power so that it didn’t get off track again. It worked out perfect and saved us a lot of money. We will use him for any issues we ever have moving forward. I would also happily refer him to friends or family that needed window repairs. I wanted so badly to leave a good review especially after being scheduled in so quickly the first time. We took my Volvo in for a sunroof leak. It was supposed to be a simple fix which cost around 400.00. The unexpected expense was fine if we could mitigate other issues from the leaking roof. We picked it up after repair and found it was still leaking. We were told this could be from a different issue that wasn't covered under warranty and that was about 200.00 again we took the hit of the unexpected expense to get the issue resolved. I picked up the car again in the pouring rain and finally there was no leak! That was until I drove it 20 minutes home and instead of leaking from the back it came down the front all over my dash and screen. Again we called and scheduled time to once again be without my car and take it back. This time we were told the whole headliner would be dropped and it would be taken through a car wash to find the source and finally stop it. We picked it up once again, had a few dry days so I was happy thinking we finally solved the problem but if that was the case I would not have left a 2 star review. We had some rain again and once again I have a leak back in the same spot we started and I am still out 600.00. Now I could take my car back again and exhaust the warranty options but how long will I be without a car again and still not resolve the issue. I finally have had to take it to the dealer where I wish I would have just went to begin with.

Top notch service. I had my sunroof shattered and needed a quick fix. The moment I first spoke to Lee he got right on it even before I was certain which path I would be taking to get it fixed. He had already ordered the replacement glass by the time I called back to schedule the appointment. I was able to get the car to him the day before the replacement glass was delivered and once he received the replacement glass it was promptly finished. My sunroof glass was replaced within 48 hours. Again, excellent service by Lee and his office manager (sorry I can’t remember her name) are excellent to work with and I would recommend this business to anyone needing their services. My sunroof in my Ford Escape was shattered on New Years Eve and all of the glass places I called said they dont do sunroof glass. I called safelite first and could never get anyone on the phone to even ask a question you are forced to schedule an appointment online. I searched further and found Lee Whitehead and quickly gave him a call. He was courteous and professional through out the entire process. He called me back and told me he would be able to order my glass and gave me a price to install it which was very reasonable. He will come to your residence and perform the work that is asked of him he works with your schedule.
